Just a soft buzz

Summary:

Bee Scene from Boomies latest lore stream x3 Wanted to write it out in my way!

Notes:

This is based on the latest lore stream at time of writing! (If you read this later, it's the stream called “The Truth Hurts?”)
This is mostly what happens/is being said in the stream, although a bit more imagined or changed by me :3
I'm also not a native English speaker, so please excuse any grammar issues!!!

Work Text:

Boomie was looking down at the bee farm from the roof he was on, his diary, the truth, just put away, still smelling the fresh ink.
He ran one hand through his hair, nightmare still holding onto the edges of his mind, before he jumped down.

“I need some fucking me time… might as well stick with these little guys for now...”

He slipped past the copper oxidized doors, the soft buzzing growing in volume as he got into the inside of the farm, bees happily buzzing all around him, unbothered by the devil in their midst.
Boomie took a few steps around, eyes on the bees before walking over to one of the flower beds, plucking a few flowers before sitting down at the edge of it, hands in his laps, careful to not squish the delicate items in his hands. He was weaving them carefully into a flower crown, placing it on his head when it was finished, careful of his antlers.

It might have been the flowers, it might have been the bright pink hair, but something that attracted the bees, gently swarming him, soft buzzing filling his ears.

"This is nice…”

He looked around at the bees flying around him, a small smile forming as they kept gently bumping into him, almost affectionately.
Boomie was however unable to keep a soft laugh contained at a bee that was clearly looking at him, not bothering with the flowers or his hair.

“Looking at my face, huh? Gonna remember it?”

He let out another amused sound, just content with watching the bees around him for a while longer before slipping away from the swarm.

"Alright alright, that's too much, calm down”

Boomie chuckled again as he went a few steps away from the flowerbed he was just sitting on, looking rather amused at the swarm, approaching the affectionate little bugs again.
Some bees were just watching him again, making him chuckle once more.

“Hi! ...more of you are just looking at me, huh?”

The bees gently bumped into his cheeks, buzzing loud in his ears.
Letting the bees be bees, he took more steps around the building, eyes just barely wandering over the flowers and their pollinators.

“God, I really needed this, huh…”

Boomie climbed up the ladders, where more bee hives were sitting, just wandering along the little copper bridge round and round before jumping down, careful to not hit any bees.
He noticed one near the entrance, on the ground, wings buzzing but not lifting off. Crouching down, he looked at it with curiosity.

"Hm? What's up with you, little one? Gathered too much pollen?”

Boomie held out his hand, gently pushing one finger under the struggling bee, standing up with it. Its little legs were tickling his palm, some of the pollen on its legs being left on his skin.
It took a few more tries before it finally flew off, towards its beehive.

“There we go”

Boomie cleaned the pollen off his hand, watching the bees again as he did.

“Maybe… maybe he was right after all. My power can help people… and you, apparently. You little things.”

He let out a soft sigh before leaving the bee farm, making sure to close the doors behind himself, the buzzing fading away, leaving him alone with his thoughts again.

Later, any worries could come later. He was gonna be fine.
