Chapter Text

[Cast: Subaru, Emilia, Beatrice, Rem, Ram, Frederica, Petra, Meili, Garfiel, Otto, Roswaal, Anastasia, Julius, Ricardo, Mimi, Tivey, Hetaro, Crusch, Wilhelm, Felix, Felt, Reinhard, Al, and Priscilla.
The cast finishes watching arc 4, Subaru wakes up, shit happens, crying breaks out, cursing, lamenting, judgments, blame, and all that shit, I'll skip that to spare you. And after everyone calmed down, they thought they would return home, but the screen lit up again.
"Hello, hello, can you hear me?" - the screen spoke to everyone, who were startled because it wasn't the same voice as their director. And that was everyone's question, as they began to fill the screen with questions. - "Hey, guys. Please calm down, I came here to show you something innovative."
"Hello, you're not going to show more about my life, are you?" Subaru asked, already finding it strange and completely violated that everyone had seen his deaths and all the shit he had been through. And now he feels uncomfortable with the looks he was getting, especially from the women who seemed to have a newly awakened interest in him.
"First of all, Subaru, do you remember your favorite game and toy franchise?" the screen asked, catching the attention of everyone and Subaru himself, who didn't quite understand the question. "Well, I'm going to show you something new. A universe where your world doesn't exist, but you are part of Subaru's world, the wonderful world of Pokémon."
Most of the people there didn't understand what the screen said, but soon three people jumped up in disbelief, namely Subaru, Beatrice, and Aldebaran, who were startled and surprised by what the screen said. "WHAT?!" The three shouted in disbelief, drawing the attention of everyone in the room. They were soon bombarded with questions about what Pokémon is and what would be shown, and several minutes later, after explaining about the Multiverse and the Pokémon world, everyone returned to their seats, eager and excited to see such a formality about these wonderful creatures. And after everyone calmed down and sat down, the screen lit up and everyone turned their gaze to it.
Screen on
[The screen showed a cloudy sky, dark clouds, and heavy rain falling from the sky, wetting the roofs, plants, streets, motorcycles, cars, walls. The rain was heavy over the city of Chiba, where a pair of childhood friends lived. Running through the streets while wearing their raincoats to cover themselves from the rain, two children ran together. One of them was a girl with platinum hair, pointed ears, amethyst eyes, and she wore a yellow raincoat and a backpack on her back. The other child was a boy the same age as the girl, with short black hair combed back to imitate his father. He also wore a raincoat as he ran alongside the girl, and he also wore a yellow raincoat and a backpack on his back. The two had just finished their class and were returning home, but neither of them expected such heavy rain to fall at that moment. So they started running to try to avoid the rain as much as possible.]
As soon as they saw it, everyone was impressed by how Subaru's old world looked, the houses, the streets, the vehicles, everything there impressed the movie crew on a whole different level. But when the two children appeared, just by looking at them, the crew recognized them instantly, even though they were only 6 or 7 years old, it was undeniable who they were.
"They... they're us..." Subaru and Emilia whispered when they saw each other running in the rain on their way home. Subaru was happy to see that at least in that world, he had known Emilia from an early age, so he could be her closest friend or even her future rival when they grew up. As for Emilia, she felt happy and excited. Seeing herself still young alongside Subaru made her feel happy, as it indicated that they had been friends since early on, and possibly in the future... they might end up getting married.
"How interesting~, it seems that in this world, Subaru-kun and Emilia-sama have known each other since they were young," said the marquis, completely interested and eager to see the formidable magical creatures of that world. His words caused most of the people in the theater to look at him with scorn and disgust; they had not forgotten the events at the shrine, nor would they forget them anytime soon.
"What they're wearing seems to protect them from the rain. Mimi likes it," Mimi said, pointing to the raincoats Subaru and Emilia were wearing.
"Hmm, so this is for protection from the rain? It might be interesting to do this for Lugnica. Subaru, can you tell me what these cloaks are made of?" As soon as Anastasia asked the young man from another world sitting a few rows ahead, Julius beside her took out a notepad and pencil to write everything down.
"Ah, that's called a raincoat. They are often used by children, as shown on the screen. Adults also use them, but it's more when they want a more viable option that they use raincoats. And about the material... that complicates things, because most of them are made with a raw material that doesn't exist in this world yet. So I'm not sure if it would be possible to make some..." Subaru put his hand on his chin to think about how it might be possible to make or try to make plastic or something similar, but... in the end, it seemed extremely difficult.
"It's okay. As you yourself say: 'Without trial and error, there is no way for humanity to advance.'" Anastasia repeated the phrase she had heard the boy say at some point.
"I didn't invent that phrase, Ana." Subaru replied, not entirely sure who had invented it, as it had been a while since he had read a history book about his home world.
"I like them, they keep you protected and are very versatile for protecting yourself from the rain," Meili said, pointing to the raincoats.
"I like it too, I wish I could have one. It's very useful to protect your clothes if you have to go somewhere in more formal attire and it's raining at the moment," Petra agreed with the former assassin, as she imagined herself wearing the raincoats to play in the rain with Subaru.
Beatrice crossed her arms and snorted, clearly feeling jealous as she sat on his lap. She wanted to be with her contractor, especially at this age when he was small and even cuter than usual. Noticing Beatrice's reaction, Subaru hugged her and patted her on the head, which only made the spirit girl snort, but she couldn't deny that she didn't like it.
[The two continued running, their footsteps and the stomping of their boots causing a few splashes after they stepped in some puddles. Subaru ran as fast as he could, while Emilia seemed to tire after running so much.]
["Ahhhh... what a terrible situation! Why did it have to start raining so hard right now?!" Emilia said frustratedly as the rain got heavier and the wind seemed to get stronger, wetting her and Subaru's faces.]
["We don't have time, Emilia, if we take any longer to get home, it'll only get worse for us. Come on!" Subaru took Emilia's hand and started running while she tried to keep up with him, but her exhaustion from the cold and rain was clear. Realizing this, Subaru stopped and let her rest for a few seconds. "My house is closer than yours, let's stop there and then call your mother to let her know."]
"Damn, I've never seen such heavy rain in my entire life as a merchant." Otto took off his hat and held it worriedly, even more so with Emilia's exhausted state, who seemed to be struggling too hard to keep walking. "Will she be okay?"
"My captain will take care of it, as he said, his house is nearby, so as soon as they get there they can dry off and warm up to avoid the cold." Garfiel gave his brother-in-arms a little punch on the shoulder.
"Huff, Barusu is already luring Lady Emilia into his trap. He took advantage of the cold weather and rain to lure Emilia-sama into his lecherous trap." Ram said to tease the boy, but was greatly relieved to hear that his house was nearby and they would be out of the rain.
"Nee-sama, that's mean to me!" Subaru said, putting his hand on his chest and exaggerating his interpretation. "How can you say that about me? I just wanted to help a friend get out of the cold and rain. Is that so bad?"
"Your intentions clearly show malice, Barusu. Don't you dare deceive your Nee-sama," Ram retorted, playing along with her own joke. Her words only made Subaru groan as he pretended to be struck in the heart.
Most people laughed at their interaction because... they really needed that after seeing the events that had unfolded since the boy arrived in that world. The suffering, the unresolved traumas, but at least they could relax a little before having to resolve deep and unfinished issues.
"The rain is really heavy. The streets have practically turned into a small river with so much water falling from the sky. Hmm, but the drainage system is helping to keep the streets from flooding." Crusch said, staring at the manhole where the water was entering to prevent the street from flooding. This was indeed an amazing feat of engineering. "Subaru-dono's world is really more advanced."
"Nyah, they'd better hurry home. Their bodies are still developing, and even if the raincoat protects them from the water, there's still the temperature that can lower their immunity and they can get sick." The cat-like demigod said, even though the previous transmissions still left him worried and guilty, he couldn't help but speak what his years of medicine had taught him in wanting to help and heal others.
"The street is very beautiful, even with the rain flooding it. Those holes in the road prevent the rain from flooding everything completely and damaging the houses... there must be some way to implement this in Lugnica. Rein, remember that when we leave here." Felt said to her knight. If she could implement this in the kingdom, not only could it boost her candidacy, but it would also help both the people in the city and those in the slums. She knew well how bad it was to have her house flooded with water.
"Understood, Lady Felt." Reinhard said, with a satisfied smile on his face as he realized his lady's intention to implement that system in the kingdom. Even if she had ulterior motives, it would still benefit the kingdom in some way.
["*panting* okay..." Emilia nodded, and after catching her breath a little, she started running again with Subaru holding her hand. As the two ran, she focused only on getting to her friend's house, taking a hot shower, asking Naoko to make her hot chocolate with cookies, and even settling down and using a blanket with Subaru. She liked that. But then...]
*Sniff!*
*Purr!*
The cast fell completely silent, waiting to see what would happen after that noise, which sounded like a little animal crying, making them wonder if they would show them... them...
[Emilia stopped in her tracks, looking away in the direction of an old cardboard box, which was completely wet and on the verge of collapsing. Letting go of Subaru's hand, Emilia walked over to the cardboard box and crouched down to look inside, and as soon as she saw it, she was shocked and covered her mouth in horror.
["Emilia!" Subaru ran to her, worried about what had happened to make her stray from their path. As soon as Emilia looked at him with tears in her eyes, she pointed to the cardboard box. Seeing his friend's reaction, Subaru walked over to stand beside her and looked inside the box, his eyes widening and recoiling at what was inside.]
The cast fell completely silent, most of them with their saliva stuck in their throats as they waited anxiously for what the two children had seen to elicit such a reaction. Especially the children, who clenched their hands tightly as they waited anxiously for what would be shown.
Others were impartial, just waiting for the screen to show what made the two children react like that, people like Priscilla and Roswaal, who were not bothered by their reaction, but curious.
[The focus shifted to Subaru and Emilia's backs, where the camera moved to show the inside of the box, which was occupied by two brown animals with fur on their necks. The two were Pokémon, well-known Pokémon, Eevees, two Eevees that could be siblings, or just two Eevees that had met and were trying to keep warm on an extremely rainy day, in which the two were lying down and intertwined with each other while shivering from the cold and their wet fur.]
The people in the movie theater were amazed and concerned by that sight. Amazed that they could be watching them, the formidable creatures, as majestic as the majus of their world, but also concerned, because from their condition, their situation did not seem to be good at all. Their whimpering and the way they shivered and tried to warm themselves with each other's bodies made the hearts of most of the cast soften and ache at the sight of those cute little creatures going through such a terrible situation.
"Poor things, they're freezing to death!" Petra said with pain in her voice as she watched the two Pokémon go through such a precarious situation.
"Poor things, they don't deserve to go through this," Meili also said with pain in her voice, not liking to see the two Pokémon shivering in the rain.
"Yes, very... very much so." The words barely came out of the housekeeper's mouth. Seeing that sinful scene with the two little creatures trying to use each other's bodies to keep warm on such a rainy day made the housekeeper's chest ache and tighten a little.
Anastasia watched the scene with a pain in her chest. Well, the little creatures were cute, and she knew what it was like to have no home and have to survive on whatever she could find. Seeing the two of them trying to keep warm by huddling together made the pain in her chest even worse.
"Mimi can't stand to see this! Cute Pokémon must be protected!" Mimi said, raising her arm, an action that was followed by her brothers, who agreed with her.
"Wow, what a terrible situation, huh? But knowing the mini-boss and Emilia, their reaction to this scene is clear," Ricardo said, allowing himself to smile. As terrible as it was to see that scene, the outcome was obvious to anyone who thought about it.
Emilia pressed her hand against her chest, her eyes watering a little at the sight of the poor animals in such a terrible state, trying to keep warm on that rainy day. Swallowing hard, she begged, no, she was sure that she and Subaru would not leave them there. Even if they ended up getting into trouble, she still wanted to help the two animals.
Subaru was no different; seeing a small animal go through such a situation made him sad since childhood because he couldn't help them, but seeing him and Emilia find two Eevees in such a precarious situation. The two of them were trembling, murmuring and whimpering, showing that they were in terrible shape, their fur was wet, and the whole sight made the boy's heart ache in a way he didn't want to feel. It was even worse than death. If he had to choose, he would rather jump off the cliff again than leave those Eevees in that situation.
Seeing how her contractor was reacting to the scene, Beatrice got his attention by patting him on the cheek. This distracted Subaru and brought him back to reality as he took a deep breath and looked back at the screen.
The rest of the cast also felt almost the same as Emilia and Subaru. Seeing those two Pokémon trying to stay alive by using each other's bodies to keep warm made them feel a pain in their chests. Except for a few like Roswaal, who seemed to find it interesting, as he didn't think about emotions unless it was for Echidna. That fucking clown. Patati or Patata alone can handle this shit.
[The scene changed to show the entrance of a very modest, relatively middle-class house. Inside, there were two people, two adults, a man and a woman. The woman was dressed more casually, in a long skirt and a green coat because it was cold, and the man was putting on a raincoat and holding an umbrella.]
The cast was shocked, but they also felt emotional when they saw those two people, as they all remembered them from the sanctuary trials, in which Subaru had to face his past. Especially Subaru, who, having the chance to see them again, especially in his home world, made him cry, but cry with a smile on his face.
["I'll go with you," Naoko said, walking over to her husband to accompany him in the search for their son, who was late coming home from school. Perhaps he was still there because of the heavy rain outside. But before she could say anything else, Kenichi reached out to stop her from following him.]
["There's no need. If he's still at school, when I get there I'll bring him home. But if I get there and he's already left, it's better if you're at home when he arrives." Kenichi said to his wife, and his reasoning had a good logical basis. If they both left at the same time, and Subaru wasn't at school, he wouldn't find anyone at home. , a little reluctant and still worried, nodded to her husband and accepted his option.]
The common and normal sight between the two older Natsukis made most of the people in the movie theater smile sincerely because they were once again seeing the two wonderful beings who had brought this very special boy into the world. But from a distance, Subaru seemed to be the happiest there. He used the sleeve of his coat to wipe the tears from his eyes, returning to look at the screen with a sincere yet sad smile.
"It seems to me that Subaru-dono's father is going to look for him. And in fact, his reasoning was correct. If the two of them left, Subaru would have arrived home and found no one there." Crusch settled into her chair and sighed a little, smiling at the scene.
"Indeed, Mr. Kenichi's thinking was as logical as possible. If he doesn't meet Subaru-dono on his way, Miss Naoko will be waiting for him when he gets home with Emilia." Wilhelm closed his eyes, wondering what would happen if he talked to the two of them. Would they find him pleasant? Too strict? Well, there was no way to know that for sure.
"Huh, obviously. My contractor's parents are the ideal model of parents, as my Subaru says." Beatrice said, smiling and puffing out her chest proudly, which made Subaru laugh and pat her on the head.
[Kenichi finished putting on his raincoat and was ready to leave and go to his son's school to see if he was still there or if he would find him on his way. But as soon as he took a step forward, the front door opened abruptly, startling Naoko and Kenichi, who weren't expecting it, and when they saw who opened the door. They saw two children, children they recognized very well, one of whom was their son, and the other was the daughter of Naoko and Kenichi's friends. But unlike usual, both had a bulge in their raincoats, which looked like they were carrying something with them.]
["Subaru! Emilia!" Naoko ran to them as soon as she saw them enter her house. Kenichi did the same, quickly taking off his raincoat and running to his son and his friend. The two crouched down beside them and searched their bodies, seeing that they were unharmed and fine, just very wet from the rain. "Ahhh, thank goodness, I was dying of worry here. You weren't hurt or lost on the way?"]
["No, Ms. Naoko. We were just delayed by the heavy rain," Emilia said, and then the bulge in her and Subaru's coats moved, startling Naoko and Kenichi, who only now noticed it.]
"Didn't I tell you? Obviously, the two of them took them in to look after them. The mini-boss and Lady Emilia's personalities wouldn't allow those two Pokémon to stay out in the rain." Not only Ricardo, but most of the people in the movie theater agreed with that, leaving Subaru and Emilia embarrassed and awkward, but also smiling to see that they had done it, they had taken the Eevees in to look after them.
"Good thing they did, maybe if the two had stayed in that box any longer, they could have died of hypothermia. But in the end, our couple here saved them from that precarious fate, nyah!" Felix said, raising his arms up, making most of the people there start laughing.
"Subaru-sama..." Freaderica smiled, seeing that Subaru really helped everyone no matter what the world was like.
"Subaru-kun, you're not just a hero to Rem, but to everyone around you and everyone you meet." Rem whispered, smiling and blushing a little as she watched Subaru and Emilia help those two Pokémon.
Ram snorted, she was going to make a joke about Subaru kidnapping a poor defenseless animal, but gave up because it would look bad. Besides, clearly without Subaru and Emilia's help, the two Pokémon would end up dying from the cold. So she just remained silent and let herself smile.
Priscilla snorted and closed her fan. It was a complete shame to do charity work with animals, but as Subaru and his dog explained, Pokémon are wild animals that can be tamed and trained for various purposes. Whether it's for competitive fighting, everyday tasks such as helping their trainer with their work, or even other things, such as the entertainment industry in beauty contests, in which she was sure she would be the champion, no matter what, her divine and most beautiful being will also have her renowned beauty Pokémon and she will win a beauty contest.
["Subaru, Emilia, what's going on with you guys?" Kenichi asked, pointing to the bulges the two were carrying with them. Looking at each other, Subaru and Emilia quickly opened their raincoats and showed the bulges they were carrying, and as soon as they showed them, the two adults were shocked to see that Subaru and Emilia were each carrying an Eevee that was wet and trembling against their chests.]
["We found them in a box, shivering from the cold and wet," Subaru and Emilia said, looking at Naoko and Kenichi with puppy dog eyes, begging or trying to convince them not to refuse them. "Can we take care of them? They might get sick if we don't do anything." With that, Naoko and Kenichi looked at each other before sighing and dragging the two children to a room to bathe them and change their clothes to keep them warm, as well as contacting Nurse Joy to check on the two Eevees.]
After the screen went blank, everyone was silent for a few seconds, feeling a mixture of warm feelings about what had just been shown. But before they could dwell on those feelings, the screen lit up and the old voice spoke to them.
"So, everyone, what did you think of the origin of Subaru and Emilia's starter Pokémon?" The question on the screen was simple and direct, with equally direct answers.
"I thought it was amazing!" Subaru said with a smile.
"I'm relieved that we helped those two Pokémon," Emilia said with relief.
"Betty liked it. It really showed my contractor's big heart," Beatrice said, proud of Subaru.
"I loved it. Subaru-kun and Emilia-sama are truly lovely people," said Rem, happy with Subaru and Emilia's decision to rescue the Eevees.
"Ram admits that sometimes Barusu's impulsive actions can save lives, even those of Pokémon," Ram said, without letting much emotion show.
"I thought it was adorable," Frederica said, smiling a little.
"I loved it! Subaru-sama is an amazing person!" Petra said, raising her arms up.
"He helps everyone, even cute Pokémon," Meili said, because Subaru had also helped her in the same way he helped the Eevees.
"Absolutely wonderful. It just shows how great and amazing my captain is!" Garfiel smiled broadly as he crossed his arms.
"I was worried at first, but as soon as I saw that Natsuki-san and Emilia-sama took them both to treat them, I felt relieved." Otto said, scratching his cheek and putting his hat back on his head.
"Very interesting indeed~" Roswaal said, very interested in the future creatures that would appear.
"I liked it, and I hope they both grow up healthy and strong," Anastasia said, smiling at the outcome of that encounter.
"I feel relieved and happy that my friend Subaru helped them, and also that, as you said, the two of them formed a bond with the Pokémon," Julius said, feeling more relieved.
"Mimi loved it! And Mimi wants a Pokémon too!" Mimi said, jumping up and down in her chair.
"I thought it was really cool of them," Hetaro said.
"I loved it, and I hope the four of them have a good relationship after this day," Tivey said.
"Haha, I can only imagine the mischief the mini-boss and Lady Emilia will get up to with their new partners," Ricardo said with a few amused laughs.
"I loved it! My big brother and big sister were really cool and funny carrying the two Pokémon in their raincoats," said Felt, laughing, but she was also happy with the outcome.
"I'm glad my friend and Lady Emilia helped those two Pokémon and prevented them from dying from the cold," Reinhard said, smiling at the final outcome of that encounter.
"I thought it was adorable and a noble gesture, as you yourself said. They were both their starter Pokémon, so that indicates that they formed a bond after that day." Crusch said, smiling stoically.
"For this old man, this scene shows how kind the hearts of my grandson and Lady Emilia are, only reinforcing everything we already know." Wilhelm pointed out, scratching his beard with a small smile on his face.
"Nyah, I thought it was very beautiful! Not only did they prevent the two Pokémon from dying due to the extreme cold, but they also formed a very strong bond after that event." Felix said with a slight smile.
"I liked it, and it already provides some help in case the two end up evolving through friendship." Al said, the last part being more to himself.
"Boo, as much as it's better to have seen my being with my servants, I still can't lie about the scene not being beautiful," Priscilla said, opening her fan and covering her mouth.
"Apparently, everyone here ended up liking what they saw. That's good, because before I show you how each of the Eevees evolved, I'll let you discuss it among yourselves before I continue. So, enjoy." With that, the screen went blank, leaving everyone in the movie theater having a discussion about the Pokémon that Subaru and Emilia had saved.
"So, their names were Eevee?" Emilia asked her knight.
"That's right, Emilia-tan. Eevee, in its biography, is considered the evolution Pokémon. Even though it is a normal type, it can evolve into a form of each type. They are: Fire, Flareon. Water, Vaporeon. Plant, Leafeon. Ice, Glaceon. Electric, Jolteon. Psychic, Espeon. Dark, Umbreon. And Fairy, Sylveon." As Subaru spoke, the image of each Eevee evolution appeared on the movie screen with its type below it. The image of each of Eevee's possible evolutions surprised most of the cast in the theater, eliciting murmurs of admiration for the appearance and beauty of each one.
"Waaa, they're so cute! But I think I like Sylveon best, look how beautiful and cute she is!" Petra pointed to the screen.
"Yes, very much so! Sylveon is so cute!" Meili agreed with her friend.
"Wow, I really like Jolteon. Imagine trying to pet him and getting shocked!" Garfiel said, imagining the possibilities of training with the Pokémon.
"As dangerous as it may be, I can't disagree with its aggressive beauty," Frederica said, agreeing with her brother about Jolteon's beauty.
"I don't know if that sounds cool. But I think I like Leafeon best. I'm not sure why, but it gives me a feeling of tranquility," Otto said, watching Leafeon on the screen.
"Mimi loved them all, but the water one looks cool. Mimi wants to be able to walk with it by the lakes," said Mimi, pointing to Vaporeon on the screen.
"I prefer Flareon, it seems the coolest." Hetaro said, pointing at the screen.
"I really liked Espeon. Since it's a Psychic, I think it's the smartest." Tivey said with a smug smile.
"Hmmm, interesting. Its biology has adapted to evolve into so many different types. I wonder what the other evolutions with other types would be like. Like the dragon." Roswaal thought, imagining their appearances and abilities, something that is unlikely to happen soon unless Game Freak makes new eevelutions for them. I WANT A DRAGON AND GHOST TYPE EEVEE!
"Well, I can see which one suits you best, Lady Emilia," Reinhard said with a slight laugh.
"You bet, even my big brother's is there!" Felt said, agreeing with her knight.
"What do you mean?" Subaru and Emilia asked, not understanding what Reinhard and Felt meant, but soon each pointed to the Eeveelution they were referring to, with Felt pointing to Umbreon and Reinhard pointing to Glaceon.
"Do you still have doubts?" Fel and Reinhard's question and gesture made most of the people there start laughing, which made the two blush with embarrassment.
"It's true, Umbron suits Subaru-sama, it even has the same colors as his clothes." Petra agreed with Fetl.
"Emilia's relationship with ice is already a given, so I agree with Reinhard. Glaceon suits her better," Anastasia said with a slight smile.
"W-Well, I guess that makes sense." Emilia blushed a little embarrassed, but in the end agreed with their suggestion.
"And you, bro, Unbreom is the Eeveelution that represents you, brother. Not only the colors, but being dark in itself... but he's cooler than you." Al said, giving points and reasons to his friend.
"How mean!" Subaru shouted indignantly.
"Huhu, well, considering what we've seen, these options lead me to believe that these are the evolutions of Eevees." Wilhelm agreed with his grandson and his heir apparent.
"Wow, now that I see it, Umbreon really suits the captain better," Garfiel said, impressed.
"Nyahaha, Subaru-kyun, we found your pocket monster self," Felix said, not missing the opportunity to tease the boy.
"Stop teasing me!" Subaru shouted, completely indignant and embarrassed.
"I'm back!" With the screen lighting up, everyone turned their attention to it. Soon the images of the Eeveelutions disappeared and the screen lit up, indicating that the being behind it was speaking. "Well, if you're done with that discussion, I'm ready to show you the moments when Subaru's Eevee and Emilia's Eevee evolved."
"Hey, wait! Can I ask a question?" Meili raised her hand and jumped up and down in her chair.
"As long as it's quick to answer, feel free." The screen motioned for her to continue.
"Are the two Eevees siblings? And what happened after Oni-cha and Emilia rescued them?" The question wasn't just from Meili; most of the people there were also curious about that.
"Well, yes, they are brothers, and after they treated the Eevees by taking them to a Pokémon nurse, they gave the pets the option of returning to wandering or staying with them. And well... they chose to stay." The screen replied to the girl.
"Brothers..." Rem and Ram whispered.
"Are they two boys?" Garfiel asked, unable to tell the gender of the two creatures.
"No, it's a boy and a girl. The male went with Subaru, and the female went with Emilia." The screen replied to the half-feral.
"But wouldn't it be bad to separate them?" Petra asked, concerned about the separation of the two Eevees.
"It would be, but Subaru and Emilia saw each other almost every day, besides proclaiming themselves rivals. Each of them has their own goal, and they compete to see who will achieve it first." - The screen replied to the young maid.
Subaru and Emilia were surprised; they didn't expect it to be something like rivals, but if it's a sporting competition without too much aggression, maybe the rivalry will be fun.
"And what is their goal?" Rem asked, feeling a little jealous when she saw how close Subaru and Emilia were in that world.
"It's a surprise. Now, keep your eyes on the screen!" With that, the voice disappeared and the screen lit up. As soon as they saw the screen, everyone settled into their seats and refocused on the theater screen.
