When I was in 4th grade I was obsessed with Warrior Cats and I wanted to make fanart of it. But since my dumbass couldn't draw cats (I'm better at it now!) I drew all the cats as human and wanted to provide an in-universe reason for this being so. This was what I came up with.
Jayfeather (I have no idea why Jayfeather, I think I just really liked him back in the day) invented something and wants to show it off at the gathering (don't ask how he did it without thumbs) and when he shows it off to the others, it just appears to be a normal kittypet collar. When the other cats outrage, Jayfeather explains that it can help disguise them. They praise him for this discovery but remark that it's no new invention. Then, Jayfeather taps the bell on the collar 3 times with his claw and he turns human, thus disguising him from humans. (I think this shows just how loose of a grasp I had on the warriors plotline, I don't remember them ever coming into contact with humans except a few times, but idk.) I also did this thing where the cats had the logo of their clan embedded into their forehead to tell them apart.
So, any way I can improve this plotline and make my 4th grade self proud?
