Prologue

The smell of ash and smoke filled the air. Three ran up to the best place where they could get a view - on top of one of the fallen skyscrapers that was black due to the smoke and ash that was raining down from the sky and peppering every surface with a dusty black sheen. Three was trying to take a good look at the wreckage before a blue blur crashing through one of the buildings knocked them out of their thoughts. The blur sliced the building in half before leaping on top of one of the halves that protruded from the dusty stained earth. Three noted everything about the appearance of the battered Algebralien that was standing on the debris. She had cream colored skin and dark navy hair in a desaturated hue, she was too far away for Three to fully see her eye color but Three caught a glimpse of the color blue in the depths of her irises. She had a somewhat ordinary appearance, it was her outfit that caught Three’s attention. The Algebralien was wearing a shortened type of gown, the skirt ending mid-thigh. It was also a shade of navy blue with golden embroidery and black and white ribbon frills. A matching white and black corset was placed over the bodice of the shortened gown and the chest of the gown was a heart cut top with matching ribbon frills. The sleeves were slit sleeves with the same black and white frills. Her hand had a diamond shaped bright dark blue gem connected to a ring with gold ball chains that connected to the sleeve. The back of the dress, in the center of the corset was a large gold ribbon, the tails of it reaching the Algebralien’s feet which were gold trimmed boots in a dark navy color.
Three stood there, stunned while staring at the Algebralien in front of them before the Algebralien leaped forward to dodge an attack from the giant monster in the sky that resided surrounded by sacred runes.
“You know she won’t be able to win,” A voice spoke from inside Three’s head, causing them to jump and frantically land their eyes on the magical catlike creature in front of them.
“She won’t win?..” They finally asked. The catlike creature shook its head before speaking once again in Three’s mind,
“But there is a way for her to win… If you sign my deal and become a magical girl, you’d be as powerful as a god. You’d easily defeat enemies like this!” The creature looked expectantly at Three as they spoke, “What do I have to do to become a magical girl?!” The creature almost seemed to grin at Three’s eager response.
“You’ll know and be ready when the time is right,” It said as the dream faded to black.
