Five Nights with Four Guards!

Summary:

Basically, Frickbears 3, but it's four guards working together at once and complete chaos. They also wound up eventually getting every single animtronic and every ending at once somehow.

Notes:

I have been playing Frickbears a whole fucking lot, and I have become completely obsessed with it, mainly because it got me back into a bit of an FNAF phase, so I just had to make a fic about it, and I thought interacting this way would be fun to write, and it definitely was.

Chapter 1: Night One: First impressions

Chapter Text

No one’s perspective:

On one dark and decently stormy night. There was one college-aged guy with bandages covering his whole face, lying in a taxi, heading towards his summer job just for some extra cash. A local pizza establishment called Frickbears. He was going to be the security guard there.

After a bit, he finally arrived at his job. But upon stepping out of his taxi. He saw something a bit surprising… Another security guard?

Vanessa’s perspective:

As I stood in front of the pizzeria, I was still a bit surprised. I really didn’t think I would end up back here. Who knew that- wait, is that another taxi behind me?

I turned around and saw a fairly short-looking guy with purple hair and bandages covering his face like he was some sort of mummy, and complete with a security guard uniform like mine, come out of the taxi.

He saw and nervously waved at me, “Um hi… I didn’t think there would be multiple guards here.”

I replied, also surprised by this, “Yeah, me either, the boss never said anything.”

After a few seconds of awkward silence, the guy said in a somewhat chipper tone, “Well, I’m glad to be working with you! My name is Jeremy Fitzgerald! What’s yours?”

“Um, Vanessa Shelly,” I replied more casually, “We should head in now.”

I opened the door, and we entered the Frickbears establishment… I’m not the biggest fan of the new name the boss gave it.

“Alright, the security office should be in the back of the place,” I said, quickly moving through the building while Jeremy sort of just followed. I could quickly tell he was inexperienced.

We passed by the main three on stage, and I saw Jeremy stop to look at them: Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica. I heard him comment, “Oh… So those are the animatronics? I've only seen them in pictures, never in person.”

“You will get used to the sight of them,” I told him.

“Oh, have you worked here before?” Jeremy questioned while tilting his head a bit.

“Well, I worked at past Freddy’s locations, before the rebranding. I asked if I could be transferred to a smaller location after working at the big one for a few years, and so I was sent here.”

“Oh, nice!” Jermey charmingly replied… Oh my god, this place is going to rip him apart.

We eventually made it into the office, with two doors, two vents, and a window, so at least four ways they could get in. There was a Freddy mask, a flashlight, and of course, a tablet showing the cam system.

I decided to address the elephant in the room, aka, Jeremy’s appearance, “Um, do you mind explaining all of those facial injuries you have?”

“Oh, yeah, this, it’s nothing, I just crashed out of a car windshield into an old woman carrying knives and boiling cups of hot coffee, that’s really it. Been through worse,” Jeremy explained.

“You sound incredibly fucking unlucky,” I told him bluntly.

“It’s just a bit of Murphy’s law, and as they say, 13th time's the charm!”

I was going to correct him on that, but then we heard the phone ring, Jeremy picked it up, and a prerecorded message appeared on the other end. A person who worked the shift last week,  It gave a simple spiel of what we had to do and how to use doors and cams. I had heard it all before. I didn’t really pay much attention to it until, at the end, I heard what sounded like something tipping over and crushing the guard completely.

“Um…. What was that?” Jeremy asked.

“Um, I’m not sure,”  I said, frozen for seconds, quickly remembering I was going to reset the music box of the puppet and then doing that.

After a bit, Jeremy seemed to move on from what happened on the phone and asked, “So the guy on the phone mentioned how the animatronics move around and stuff, have you seen them move on the cameras yet?”

“Nope, they are still in place, I mean, it's only 2 AM right now, they get more active as the night goes on-”

“Wait, I saw something!” Jeremy suddenly said, while taking a quick look. I thought he was being paranoid for a moment, but no, something was moving; it wasn’t an animatronic, but instead a guy with a very bulky build, and he was in another security guard uniform.

“No way there was another person hired for the night shift,” I said.

“Well, I guess there is a way, let’s go greet him!” Jeremy said while stepping outside. But I pulled him back. “What’s wrong?” he asked.

“We have no clue who that is,” I told him.

“Well, we know he’s another security guard like us based on the uniform, so we need to bring him into the office with us.”

“Ok, fine,” I said, turning to one of the lockers in the office. After looking through it long enough (and ignoring the bloodstains), I found a crowbar.

“What do you need that for?”

“Just in case,” I said while putting it behind my back.

Jeremy and I left the office together and got to where the other guard was, which was in the arcade. We walked past the weird balloon boy statue or animatronic and reached him. “Alright, who are you?” I asked, meanwhile, Jeremy just waved over at the guy.

Now I had a better look at him, he didn’t seem like anyone I should worry about; he had a sort of aura of complete neutrality and boredom, like I could tell he wouldn’t be the most useful person to work with, at least he doesn’t seem dangerous.

He looked confused for a moment, but then quickly said, “Oh, didn’t think others would be here, um, hello, my name is Mike Schmidt."

“Alright then, well, my name is Jeremy, nice to meet you,” Jeremy said, shaking his hand.

I then said, “My name is Vanessa, you sure you were hired here, right?”

Mike said, “I’m decently sure it was the only place that would even bother to call me back. Especially after…”

“After what?” I somewhat interrogated.

“I would rather not talk about it.” He said, seemingly a bit… embarrassed. I decided not to press for now, at least.

“Wait, did you hear that?” Jeremy suddenly asked.

“Hear what?” Mike asked.

That’s when we heard some heavy, robotic footsteps. Great, they are now moving and were across the building from the office.

“Ok, we need to get to the office quietly but immediately,” I told the other two.

“Wait, what’s going on?” Mike asked, confused.

“One of them is on the move,” I told him.

“One of what? You're being cryptic as heck.” Mike said, more befuddled than scared.

Jeremy then explained, “It’s the animatronics I’m pretty sure, a past employee told us on the phone that they move around so their servals won’t lock up.” I was thinking of correcting him, but I wasn’t fully sure what the reason was why these ones are dangerous. They could have that crappy facial recognition software or those personality chips those home delivery versions have, and their personality just so happened to be murderous assholes. Or… Yeah, no, I have still had my slight doubts on that whole possessed by spirits rumor I hear all the time…

“Just follow me and be quiet.” Those two listened, and we started moving through the building. When we made it past the stage, we saw that Bonnie was the one who was gone. Makes sense, he is usually the most aggressive one in the beginning of the night.

That’s when I heard shuffling in the dining room; he must be there.

We made sure to pass by that place extra silently. We saw Bonnie there, casually practicing a bit on his guitar. I’ll be honest, he was decent.

We were eventually in the left hallway that led to the office. Should have smooth sailing from here. But on the way there, I heard Jeremy do a small yell from behind. I turned and saw that Jeremy tripped on a pizza slice. And bump into Mike and made him hit the floor.  But the noise he made when he hit the floor was loud enough for a certain bunny to be alerted.

“Oh fuck, hurry into the room,” I said while quickly pulling Mike back up. Just as Bonnie appeared and finally saw us.

“Oh, a bunch of new friends, isn’t that just wonderful!” he said while brandishing his guitar like a weapon.

I practically shoved Jeremy and Mike into the office and then went in and quickly shut the left metal door before he could even get close to it.

I heard Bonnie say from the other side, “Aww, shucks, maybe later.” And then he seemed to leave.

“Someone check the tablet to see if he’s really gone, and also reset the music box on it. The puppet might be getting antsy,” I asked.

Jeremy quickly checked on the cams and said, “Yeah, he’s moving back towards the main stage, and I reset the box too.”

“Can one of you please explain why we are hiding from the animatronics and using these massive mechanical doors? What will happen if they catch us?” Mike asked.

I sighed and decided to start explaining while pressing the button to reopen the left door to save power. “Ok, I’ll be honest; these guys are actively dangerous. Nearly all of the animatronics have a bit of a sadistic streak with their crappy AIs,  and it looks like it’s the same in this location, too.”

Jeremy asked, “How even still bothering to work at these places if you know it’s that dangerous?”

“I’m just used to it, and they can be  pay is shockingly good if you’re the only one alive to get one.” They looked at me as if I was disturbed, “Did that sound morbid?”

“You think?” Mike replied. He groaned and complained, “Can’t even leave this job if I want. I need the money.”

“Well, at least it’s only five nights,” Jeremy said, “We got this, especially with Vanessa being here.”

“Thanks… I guess,” I said while looking away.

That’s when I heard Mike say, “Wait, is that the duck or chicken thing moving?” I went to look at the tablet while Jeremy was still holding it, and yeah, Chica was now off the stage, with Bonnie talking with her, although we couldn’t really see much. They seemed to try to wake up Freddy, but he was still deactivated for now, at least.

Those two were starting to move through the building somewhat quickly. They went down the separate hallways that led to the office, the left side for Bonnie again, and the right side for Chica.

“Alright, shut the doors quickly,” I said while shutting the left door. Meanwhile, Mike got the right door.

heard Bonnie seemingly bang his head on the door and then walked away, meanwhile, Chica appeared in the window, holding up a crude children’s drawing of a pizza slice, seemingly asking if we had pizza in there.

Jeremy replied by shaking his head. Chica pouted in disappointment before leaving… “Aww, I feel bad,” Jeremy said.

Once those two were gone, I opened the doors. Mike quickly asked me, “Why can’t you just keep these closed the whole night?”

“That would drain power far too fast… Don’t ask me how that even works, I still haven’t figured it out, even now.”

“Wait, Vanessa, can I ask something?” Jeremy asked.

“What is it?” I replied.

“Isn’t there a fourth animatronic, well, not including the puppet thing?” Jeremy asked while he reset the music box once more.

“Oh, that would be Foxy, he’s usually a side attraction called Pirate’s Cove, there’s probably a cam for that,”  I explained.

Jeremy checked the cams for a bit and seemed to find the right one. Only for me to see his eye widen. “Um, I see something…”

“Oh, is Foxy active now?” Asked while going over to check, Mike did too.

Jeremy just slowly shook his head. “No, it’s something else.”

I was confused about what he could mean until I saw on the Pirate’s cove cam a person with red kneeling down at the front of the cove like they were praying towards some sort of God. And of course… they had a security guard uniform on them…

“A fourth one of us is you, seriously?” I asked in complete annoyance.

Jeremy said, “We need to get him in here  quickly; he’s in danger with Bonnie and Chica roaming around!”

“I would rather stay in here,” Mike said.

“Do you want him to be murdered by these mascots?” Jeremy asked.

“Well, I don’t want to be.” Mike rebutted.

I told Jeremy, “If you want to save him, I’ll come with you, so you won’t die.”

“Oh, thanks, Vanessa,” Jeremy said he said happily.

“It’s nothing, ok, I then turned to Mike and told him, “Make sure to keep the others out while we are gone and check the music box on cam 6.” Mike simply nodded.

After making sure the left hall was clear, Jeremy and I stepped out, moving through the building, careful not to make much noise. I still had my crowbar on hand just in case.

When we were nearby pirate’s cove, I heard muttering from the hopefully the last guard within our group inside, “I can’t believe it, seeing them face to face is truly something.” Oh my god, he sounds like a lunatic.

We entered Pirates' Cove, and I quickly asked the guy praying to Foxy like he was the second coming of Christ, “What the hell are you even doing?”

He looked up and at us, confused, and holy shit, he looked like a meth addict, especially with those rat eyes of his; he also didn’t smell much better than an addict either. “Oh… greetings, I thought this was a solo shift.”

“Yeah, me too. Now, we get back to the security office immediately,” I ordered as I started to pull him up from the floor. Only for him to rip himself out of my grasp and get closer to Foxy.

“I still need a chance to admire these amazing beings more.” The crazed guy said.

“Um, we really don’t have time that-” Jeremy said, only for him to suddenly pause in horror. I didn’t realize why until I saw Foxy’s eyes slowly open and raise his hook at the guy.

I went and tackled the guy out of the way, saving him from Foxy just as he swiped down with his hook.

“Arg! What are you even doing in my cove? I will have you walk the plank of life itself!” Foxy declared, he’s always one for pirate-themed theatrics.

Then Foxy set his sights on me, and I readied myself with my crowbar as he pounced. I held him back with the bar by putting it in between his jaws.

I noticed Jeremy start stepping over to try and help,  I quickly yelled at him, “Get out of here now, I can handle this!”

After quite a bit of hesitation, Jeremy did leave like I wanted him to.  Meanwhile, I saw the weird guy quickly get up and go next to the ball pit Pirate’s Cove had as well. He tossed a ball over to Foxy to alert his attention. Foxy stopped attacking me for a moment and rushed towards him. I yelled out in panic, “Hey, what the hell are you doing!?”

The guy didn’t respond, and right before Foxy could get to him, he dodged, and Foxy fell right into the pit. He was struggling to get back up.

“So, so, interesting!” the guy said while seeing said while taking out a notebook and taking notes on Foxy’s behavior, it seems. I simply grabbed him, and we rushed out before Foxy could get out of the ball pit.

I moved through the building with the weirdo, we passed the dining room and saw Chica looking through it for food, which is a sight I’m used to, makes usually less dangerous than others, with how she gets distracted by food, but also makes her a pain to clean in the morning. I guess that’s the trade-off…

Jeremy’s perspective:

I was making my way back to the security office… I wished I actually did something there back at Pirate’s cove. Now I just feel pathetic.

As I went down the left hall, I made sure to avoid the pizza slice I tripped on earlier. I wasn’t going to fall for it this time-I fell onto another slice, damn it.

When I fell, I heard metallic footsteps approaching, and of course, Bonnie was there. He said, “Bunnies have very good hearing, you know?”

I scrambled to get back up as he came at me again. I yelled out towards Mike, still in the office, “Mike, I’m coming in, close the door as soon as I enter, please!”

I made it just in time and right before Bonnie could make it, Mike slammed the door on him, and he bonked his head on it.

I heard Bonnie say, “Oh come on… maybe the fowa time- I mean, maybe the fourth time will be the charm.” Then he left.

I turned to Mike and asked, “Are Vanessa and the other guy ok on the cams?”

Mike replied while taking a closer look at them, “Yeah, they are coming down the right hallway, must have seen you get chased by Bonnie for a moment.” I saw him continue to flip through the cams for him to stop on one in particular.

“What’s wrong? I asked.

“The show stage… it’s empty…”

Back to Vanessa’s perspective:

“So, are you sure you were even hired here?” I asked the crazed redhead as we passed through the right hallway back to the office, “because I have major doubts.”

“Yup, I was, the new CEO told me himself, I would never tarnish this beautiful place by breaking, entering, and impersonation!” the guy exclaimed. "No Fazbearer would ever do that."

I quickly shushed and then told through whispers, “Make sure you whisper. You're going to make them come to us. Also, is that what Freddy's fans call themselves?”'

"Nope, just me."

... This guy is going to give me an aneurysm

We were nearing the office when we saw Jeremy leaning out from the doorway. “Get in a hurry!” he yelled.

We were about to move, but we were rendered paralyzed when we heard a deep laugh. At that moment, the seemingly empty supply closet we were by opened, revealing two glowing eyes. Those eyes belonging to the main man, well, bear himself, Freddy.

“Hello there, are you ready for Freddy?”

“Run!” I said while snapping out of my shock and grabbing the other guy’s arm. But Freddy quickly grabbed his other arm.

I ended up in a tug of war matchup with Freddy over the crazy guy’s life. Freddy was obviously winning. I attempted to use my crowbar to try to fend him off from the guy, but Freddy ripped the crowbar out of my hands and tossed it away, not before chomping and breaking it in his jaws effortlessly... just imagining what he could do to a human skull was horrifying.

Freddy, in the end, won the tug and fully had his hands on the last guard. He slowly unhinged his jaws, ready to bite his face off. Only for the crazy guard to say. “Wow, Freddy Fazbear in the metallic flesh! I can’t believe it!”

Freddy paused and looked genuinely confused at the guy’s whole behavior. The guy continued. “Oh my god, those jaws of yours, did you know, just based on images and info, I was able to calculate that you have a bite force far higher than an actual bear? And I also researched how you must look on the inside, made a whole diagram!” He then pulled out his sketchbook showing detailed blueprints of Freddy’s mechanisms. He then pulled out a wrench and drill from seemingly out of nowhere. Saying, “Would you mind opening yourself up to me? I want to check if I was at close.”

Freddy dropped the guy on the floor and just walked away, “I am not dealing with this…” he muttered.

“I guess another time.” The guy said while getting back up. “Guess I will come into the office,” He then walked past me like what he did was perfectly normal and sane…

We eventually got into the office again, Jeremy immediately said, “Oh, thank god you two are safe-” he paused upon seeing something, “Vanessa your bleeding!”

I looked and realized I got a slash on my arm, it was likely from Foxy. I didn’t even notice I got cut. “It’s nothing, I’ll be fine.”

“Nope, we need to fix this.” Jeremy then pulled out a med kit I guess he had on him, makes sense, I suppose.

He instantly wrapped up my injury. “You don’t have to do this, you know,” I told him.

“It’s the least I could do after not helping earlier,” Jeremy responded, then asked the other guy. “Hey, are you injured? I saw Freddy grab onto you.”

The guy shook his head, “Nope, I’m just fine. Unless you are looking to heal mental injuries.”

Jeremy said, “I’m not a qualified therapist, sorry, um… Wait… what’s your name exactly?”

“Oh yeah, I just realized we never even asked,” I spoke.

The guy… took a while to respond, like the gears in his head were slowly turning…

???’s perspective.

I forgot my own name. I need to make something up on the spot, so I looked around the room, my eyes scanning every corner and edge for an idea. But saw the name tags of the guy with a covered face and the guy built like a brick wall, Jeremy Fritzgerald and Mike Schmidt, Fitzgerald and Schmitt, Fritz Schmidt, no, wait, I got it…

“Fritz Smith! That’s my name!” I declared. While closing the right door, because I heard Chica approaching.

“What took you so long to answer just that?” Mike asked.

“My mind doesn’t prioritize stuff like names; it has more important stuff to do than that.”

Vanessa groaned, saying, “I’m not even going to question him at this point.”

The last hour of the wonderful first night was admittedly a bit boring, mainly because the others wouldn’t let me out to see the animatronics because I would die or whatever.

When 6:00 struck, the daytime lights turned on, and the wonderful machines went to their stages, still an honor to just see them move in person.

“Ok were done…” Vanessa said while laying her head on the desk for a moment. Meanwhile, Jeremy woke up Mike, who had fallen asleep an hour ago.

I opened the doors and noticed there were small tokens on the ground; they must have been dropped by the animatronics. So, my theory of them once being able to carry coins within themselves was correct, baby! I collected them for safekeeping; they could be useful later!

As we walked out. I passed by the music box. And heard something whispering in my head.

… Been a while since I heard voices in my head, glad to have them back!

The four of us stepped out into the parking lot. But Vanessa’s phone rang. She picked up, Jeremy saw the caller ID, and said, “Wait, it’s the boss.”

Vanessa. “Ok, finally, we can figure out what even is this strange mix up,” Vanassa then picked up,

On the other end was someone with a large Italian accent. “Ring, Ring, hey, is this stupid thing on? Hey, Stooge, great work toda-”

Vanessa yelled, “Hey, boss, you have a lot of explaining to do!”

“Um, what?” the Boss asked, confused for a moment.

“Three other people arrived at the shift.” She.

“Ohhh, now I remember,  I forgot to keep it open for just  one, well, I guess it’s too late now, all of you will be working together for the next 4 nights…”

“Really? Phew.” Mike said while wiping his brow.

The Boss continued, “Now, what was I going to say before my own employee interrupted me? Oh yeah. The Salvager I have for the morning shift isn’t returning my calls, so now all four of them will be taking their shift too. Don’t worry, you’ll get overtime pay, and since I’m somewhat generous, I will be giving three separate night shift paychecks. So two of you will have to share.

I quickly said into the phone, "Oh, don't worry bout that, I need no money, just being here is payment enough, you can pay the others!"

"Alright, you freak... anyways, I will send you the salvage location address, some chump there will explain everything.”

Then he hung up. There was a bit of awkward silence for a while. Vanessa eventually turned to us all. She asked, “So… are any of you coming back tomorrow? More than understandable if you don’t want to.”

“I’m staying for all seven nights!” I spoke.

“We're only here for four more nights,” Mike said,

I’ll make it seven!” I responded.

“Please don’t, anyway, you Mike?” Vanessa asked.

Mike answered Vanessa’s question, “Well, kind of have to stay, I don’t have many other options for work, even with the murderous robots here…”

“I see… and you, Jermey?” Vanessa asked while bending down to his level a bit, which made him awkwardly back up.

“I… will come back, I want to help out everyone here. And besides, I have been through worse.”

Vanessa said, “Ok, seriously, what is your life? How have you been through worse? But anyways, alright then, if all you are coming back, I will make sure to protect and teach you all how to survive all of this stuff. Along with not doing anything crazy.” She said that last part while looking at me in particular for truly unknown reasons.

“Thanks for doing this, Vanessa,” Jeremy said with almost infectious joy that made Vanessa look away from him for a moment, like she was embarrassed, weirdly enough.

"You're being too nice; it only makes sense for the older employee to train the newer ones." She played it off.

"I mean, here is a bit more extreme," Mike said. "And, thanks as well for the help."

"Alright. let's get to salvaging!" I say, while running off into a completely random direction.

"The boss hasn't even sent the address yet," Vanessa said while going after me... But, in the end, it turns out the direction I was heading was the exact location we were going to. So let's get this show on the road!
