Poob was in the kitchen, making their partner a treat for Valentine's Day. Just 8 minutes left! They thought to themselves as they tapped their foot to an imaginary beat. Pest was almost back at Poob's apartment. He had a long day and was tired and hungry as could be. There better be food back at their apartment.. I won't hesitate to eat a human.
He was just a few blocks away, yet he still felt so far. The constant threat of dozing off raided his brain as he continued to walk down the sidewalk. Ughh.. when am I gonna be there?
Poob looked at the time left and saw there was a minute left. Ehh, I'll just take dem out now. They put on their oven mitts and opened the oven door. Ooooh, they look gud! Pest is gonna luv these!
!DING-DONG!
"Oh, dat must be Pest!"
They took off their mitts and skipped towards the door. They opened the door and greeted Pest.
"Haiii Pest :3"
"Hello, Poob."
"I made u something 4 valentine's day!"
"It better be food."
"U bet it is!"
Poob grabbed Pest's hand and dragged him into the kitchen.
"Ta-daa :D"
It was.. cookies! Heart-shaped cookies at that. Pest couldn't turn down an offer, so he took all but one of them and ran, leaving Poob with the singular cookie. Well, at least he wuz considerate..
