Chapter Text
Wemmbu let's out a sigh as he sits down on a rather hard chair made by wood. He looks up to the setting sky, casting a golden-orange hue over the sky. His long purple hair moving in strands. As he stretched, his battle scars flexed. One on his cheek, on his arms and back. He yawned, his friend, Eggchan, watching nearby as he fished on a small pond. He peeked through the strands of his pale white hair, his blue eyes stuck on wemmbu. "Hey, whats with the fit?" Egg asked, frowning. "What? Whats wrong with it?" Wemmbu sat up and turned. "Uh.. Yknow what bro, nevermind." Egg turned away, only making wemmbu frown. He stood up and looked down at his outfit. "What? It's made out of silk. Costs more than you." He spoke, flexing his beautiful lavander silk night gown that's long enough to drag on the floor. "Whatever makes you happy." Egg mumbles. "WHAT will make me happy is retirement. I'm tired of people constantly chasing me around." He said with a Huff. Now that the two were practically neighbors, it's normal they bicker quite a lot. But their bickering was soon stopped by the knocking.
Egg opened the door and looked around. "Theres.. No one here." He said before hearing a soft whine. He looked down and saw a box. "Uhh.. Wemmbu, you should come and see this." Wemmbu strutted towards the door, looked around before looking down. His furrowed eyebrows immediately relaxed into a more shocked state. "WHO THE HELL LEFT THEIR BABIES HERE!?" he shouts, in shock and a bit of concern. His loud temper scared the two little ones, and they began to cry. Their voices piercing through the quiet atmosphere, making the birds nearby, fly away in a panic. Wemmbu covers his ears, since him, particularly, was sensitive to loudness. So it's quite ironic he's loudest brat ever. Egg kneels down and took the two child into the treehouse, humming and shushing the children. "Wemmbu, could you go get some milk from the cows? They look pretty malnourished." Egg spoke, his voice soft compared to the cries of the children.
Reluctantly, wemmbu went out and grabbed a bucket and began milking the cows. Swearing under his breath: "what kind of ding dong ditch is this? Ding dong ditch them parental responsibilities? Ugh. I hate kids." Wemmbu stood up, and began to carry the bucket of milk back home. "Ding dong ditch is a shitty game." He huffed.
Egg poured the cow milk into makeshift Baby bottle made from cups and leaves. After a while, the babies finally calmed down. Egg stares at the two beasts, a smile tugged at the corner of his lips, threatening to escape. Wemmbu frowns. "Great, now take them to the orphanage." Egg turned to wemmbu. "Orphanages are horrible. They probably won't have enough attention to give them." He said as he turned back to the kids. "Plus, look at them. They look adorable." A smile finally found itself onto eggs face. "Lets keep them." Wemmbu whines: "oh, cmon. We can barely take care of ourselves. Why take care of children? Id rather die old and alone."
Best to say wemmbu gave in, in the end.. Because for the next few years, wemmbu and Eggchans life was filled with nothing but cries, feeding, and changing diapers.
Wemmbu sat in the living room, his appearance disheveled as children's toys scattered throughout the entire house. One child, the older one, sat beside wemmbu. "Dad.." The little girl cried out. "Dont call me that. Call me wemmbu." The younger one stopped in front of wemmbu. "Dad!" The little girl exclaimed cheerfully. Making wemmbu sigh in defeat. "Why can she call you dad and I cant?" The older one pouts. "Gambit, yknow even when I try to stop crucible, we know she won't listen." Wemmbu explains lazily as he glanced down at the girl.
Gambit, the older one, had greyish-white hair. Her horns barely peeking out of her head. Her deep, purple eyes matching wemmbus. And since gambit and crucible (the younger one) were twins, the look the same. Almost. Gambit had pin straight hair, while crucible's curls inwards. Egg often joked that the twins are what would happen if wemmbus personality was split into two. That only pisses wemmbu off more, because he's aware how stubborn he is. And the twins seems to inherited it despite them not being his biological children. And now, after years of struggle, the two girls finally turned 12. Which meant, it was time to start their training, so wemmbu could have a successor so he can finally rest.
