Chapter Text
Endless rounds of torment that haunted those trapped in the Forsaken realm could all agree that keeping up with the near insatiable thirst for violence that the Spectre possessed was a challenge not many could handle alone.
Although, most if not all hide a secret. One of those being Shedletsky. His soul seemed free from the weight of the truth that all those here faced.
If only the others knew what was part of Shedletsky, all that time taken to conceal himself from his past actions; gone to waste with the events that are to unfold in due time.
All if not most survivors were in the main cabin, save for a few who were doing their own thing in the smaller cabins outside, aswell as Dussekar who's house was transported with the pumpkin-headed fellow.
Jane Doe would be in the basement of the cabin, scribbling away at her notes and such, trying to remember what she could.
Noob would be socialising with Veeronica outside, but nowhere near the forest, that's for sure. Noob would be far too afraid to enter or even step a foot in those areas, and so they'd probably be around the campfire and such.
Guest 1337 would be practicing his punches and such on some training dummy somewhere, 007n7 most likely in an empty cabin, being an outcast from the group and all.
Dusekkar, Taph and Builderman would be hanging around the sofa and armchairs, surprisingly Shedletsky would be absent from the group, unusual for the socialite, but probably for the best. The brown-curled man would've seemed ill the past few days, brushing it off despite it all.
Elliot and Chance would've been in the kitchen, though Elliot would've kept Chance atleast a few feet from the oven and stove.
["Safety precautions, Chance. Sorry not sorry..!"]
Two Time would've been shut in their room, probably muttering prayers of devotion or something similar.
Important to note, all survivors have a watch to see the status of other players in a round, how much time left in a round, and generator completion. It is also used to see when they have another round, but it is most noticeably seen from the massive screen in the main cabin, where a counter is displayed every few days or so. Or it seems that way, for keeping track of the days in this place is near impossible.
╰┈☆ With Shedletsky... ☆┈╯
Heaving over the sink, Shedletsky stared back at the inky substance infront of him. Squirming and squelching as if it too was a living, breathing thing. As if it was nothing but pure... whatever it was. If it was anything but something expelled from him.
[ Disgusting... ]
Thought Shedletsky, as he wiped his mouth on the back of his hand, though it did little to nothing to aid in actually cleaning. Glancing up in the mirror while turning on the tap, an unrecognisable face reflected back to him; a shadow in the corner of his vision taking shape, his expression shifted from disgust to mild dislike and annoyance.
"You really ARE pathetic, aren't you ? "
The shadows taunted Shedletsky, but were only met with tense silence.
" Ah, pray tell now Shedletsky, are you and he not the same ? You shouldn't be offended by what we say.. though he is finding amusement in your current state. For what reason do you lock him in your mind, hm? ——— "
Shedletsky payed no attention to the voice, the little light that illuminated the room providing an image for these shadows, that of which being his alternate self, Telamon.
Unable to keep himself quiet, Shedletsky remarked; " Don't you ever shut your mouth, Telamon? No wonder the admins found you insufferable.. "
At this, the being narrowed his eyes, arrogance giving way to easily sparked anger. " Surely, Telamon isn't insufferable. It's laughable at which you attempt to ellicit a response from Telamon, when Shedletsky is just as weak as that failed — "
" WHY do you speak about 1x like they're lesser than you!? They're your vessel! You made them! "
"... Admittingly, Telamon hadn't forseen that he would invest time and precious energy on a vessel, of all things. Isn't it also Shedletsky's fault that he allowed himself to get like this? Humiliated, unable to tell Builderman nor Brighteyes who he truly is.. "
A sneer would've formed on the deity's face. Despite his attempts, Shedletsky couldn't contain this newfound rage within him.
"Just... SHUT UP !! DAMMIT ! "
The mirror infront of Shedletsky cracked under his knuckles, the deity's apparition contorted in offense as the reflective surface cracked.
The only thing staring at him now, a kaleidoscope of himself, split in a million ways this way that.
Shedletsky pauses for a moment, the glass stinging his knuckles and blood slowly dripping downwards, yet... it soon wasn't a deep red, but a rich black.
[ BLACK!? What the ####... ]
" Tch.. I'll clean this up later... "
Shedletsky knows this is a blatant lie, he'll probably just explain to Builderman that he saw a bug or something... and broke the broom. Well, to do that he'd need a broken broom... whatever, he'll think of another excuse later.
Running his hand under water, (and doing the steps to clean the wound) he wasn't sure what worried him more, the fact his blood wasn't red, or that Telamon seemed so confident and cocky. Well, more than usual atleast.
Flicking the lamp on, Shedletsky wrapped his hand in bandages, then ripping off the excess with his teeth and place the rest in the bedside table drawer.
" I need to sleep... "
Thinking aloud, he'd not bother to change (considering they're taken into a round whenever the Spectre feels like it), turning off the lamp, but unable to rest. It seemed like sleep evaded him as if he was unworthy of it. Wow. Amazing ! Really, just great.
Tossing and turning, he eventually only had a few minutes, maybe half an hour to rest.
Shedletsky knew at this rate, he wasn't going to perform well in the upcoming round..
