Stefan couldn't stop the heat that rose to his face.
Nor could he stop the other object from wrapping his arms around his stomach and their beards from scratching at each other at Teddy rubbed their cheeks together.
"Thank you so much for the food! I really appreciate the effort you put in it and it was so tasty!"
Teddy always knew the perfect thing to say to make Stefan's face burn red hot and make the sour pit in his mouth turn sickly sweet as he complimented the dish he had eaten moments before. Those words made all the effort he put into the food worth it as Teddy planted his plush lips on his cheeks. He could feel the smile on Teddy's face through the kiss and smell the food he had just eaten.
"You don't have to thank me, I just like doing it." Stefan said, loosely wrapping his own arms around Teddy.
"You don't cook for a lot of folks in the house, but you do for me. I'm always gonna thank you for your work." Teddy countered, planting a deeper kiss on Stefan's lips.
This was the reward that Stefan craved.
He never enjoyed tasting his own food beyond necessity.
This however was his favorite way to taste his cooking, mingling with Teddy's soft lips, the savory and spice mixed with the sweet musk that seeped from Teddy's pores, the tingling itch across his face as beards intermingled and scratched against his face. The feeling of both of their stomachs pressed against each other, Teddy's roaming hands that wrapped themselves around his shoulders and up his neck. The goosebumps followed his hands made Stefan shiver.
Teddy backed away to look Stefan in the eyes with his own gleaming with joy, crow lines at the corner of his eyes and his dimples pinching in his cheek.
"Thank you Stefan."
The flavor and experience was much more enjoyable than anything else.
