Once upon a time in a far away land called Calaveras there was a prince who needed to get married soon. This prince's name was Arias, he was a dignified young man who had many secrets. One of them has the power to ruin the whole kingdom. When he was born his mother died while giving birth to him but that's not the big secret. He ended up being a girl and the king, Antonio, needed a boy since he already had a daughter. So instead of having another kid with another woman because that was forbidden in Calaveras, he decided to introduce Arias as a boy and raised him as one. Once he turns 21 he has to marry a girl but who will it be?
Somewhere in the guard castle there is a head guard, Maxim, and his son, Osora. Osora was a neglected child all because of one thing. He was gay and his father hated him for that. When he told his dad he went manic. Maxim started throwing things and yelling at Osora to get out and never show his face to him again and while Osora was leaving he ran into a guy and the guy dropped his books. "Oh I'm so sorry here let me help you", as he was helping the guy pick up his books he asks his name, "I'm Osora I'm so sorry about this what's your name?" asked Osora. "Oh don't worry and its nice to meet you Osora I'm Arias." Only then Osora realised this was the prince he ran just into. "Oh my Irene im so sorry i didnt recognise you at first." Arias just alughed at that and said, "Its okay dont worry but why are you crying are you okay?"asked Arias. Osora didn't even realize he was crying untill Arias pointed it out. "Oh uh my dad just kicked me out so yeah I kinda have no where to go." Arias was shocked at this answer and responded, "Oh im so sorry we have an extra room at the castle, I can see if my dad could lend it to you?" Osora didn't know if he should take the offer or not because he knew he would see his father there since he was the head guard but in the end he decided to take the offer and hope for the best.
After Osora moved into the castle him and Arias start to hang out and spar a lot since they don't really have abnyone else to have out with. Soon Osora starts to realize that these feelings he has for Arias aren't friendly and he is falling in love with him. He does a pretty good job at hiding his feelings so he doesn't get kicked out of the castle.
The next day, king Antonio makes an announcement to the kingdom, "As we all know my sons birthday is coming up and he still needs a wife. So at his birthday I will have all the girls in Calaveras line up and we will judge if they are fit to be Arias's wife." When Arias hears this he stops dead in his tracks and quickly goes to talk to his dad. "Dad why are you choosing my wife? I dont even want to marry a woman!" as arias said this he realised he had made a misteak. Arias knew he liked guys for a while now but he never told his dad because he knew he would be kicked out of the castle. "What did you just say?" asked Antonio, his face turning red from pure rage. "You cant be one of those homos?! I RAISED YOU BETTER THAN THIS!" he screamed. Arias was backing away while apologizing. "I-Im so sorry please don't kick me out." Arias said with a slight quiver in his voice. " You are so lucky you are my only son if not you would be kicked out of this kingdom." Antonio replied a little calmer now that he has realized that he is his only son and needs a king to rule the kingdom after him. " I will allow you to stay but you must marry the girl I choose for you, understand?" The kings said in a stern voice. "Yes father I understand" said Arias sounding defeated. When word of the prince being gay got out to the guards Osora overheard them talking. "Ugh Antonio should've kicked that disgusting homo out of this place" said one of the guards. When Osora realized this was Arias they were talking about he felt enraged at the guards for saying such nasty things about one of the people they were supposed to be protecting. He wasn't sure what to feel because even though Osora now has a chance with Arias it doesn't really matter now that Arias must marry a girl his father chooses. Osora then relises that Arias's birthday is in a couple of days and decides that he should go and maybe make a present for him.
Sadly Osora wasn't aloud at the party because Antonio had found out that they were both gay and didn't want anything happening between the two. Since Osora wasn't allowed to go he decided to take a walk around Calaveras. As he was walking he spotted someone also walking and decided to talk to them. "hey I'm Osora what's your name?" he asked and the guy jumped a little, "Oh hi I'm Miko sorry you caught me off guard there" said Miko with a small laugh. "How come you're not at the party?" asked Miko, curious why someone who lives in the castle wasn't at the party. "Oh I was banned for something that probably will never happen." replied Osora sadly realizing he isn't going to get to see Arias on his birthday. "I could help you get in" said Miko and Osora just started at the man wondering if Miko is crazy. "Do you have a death wish or something? There are guards everywhere how could you possibly get me in" responded Osora thinking this man is a deranged lunatic for even thinking that is possible. "No you could never sneak in the castle but you could get in watch a little magic." Osora was shocked at this response. Who is this Miko person and where could he possibly be from. No one in Calaveras has magic because of the law that states that sergos are forbidden from the kingdom due to a war with them a long time ago. Osora was quiet for so long Miko spoke up. "if you don't believe me I'll be on my way now-" said Miko before getting interrupted. "Wait don't go. If you can really get me in with some magic then please do." said Osora quickly realizing this is his only way into the castle. "Okay so I need you to stand very still this wont hurt at all I promise." Miko said quickly explaining so that he could get Osora there quickly. In about two minutes Osora was teleported right when the king was about to announce something.
The party was magnificent. There were white and gold decorations everywhere lining the walls. Everyone was laughing and smiling when the king made an anouncement. "Listen here everybody, listen here!" Antonio said "I know all you ladies are wondering who will marry my son" he proceeds to say. "I want all the girls to line up and we will judge you based off of a few quetions to see if you are the right fit for my son." said Antonio. While all the girls were lining up. About 45 minutes later the king is finished talking with the girls and continue the celebration.
At the end of the party, Antonio made his last announcement, "Alright the night is coming to an end so now I think it is a good time to announce the girl who will marry my son. And that girl is... Catalina congratulations!"
My dad anounced who I was marrying but it didn't matter, I felt numb I don't want to marry this girl I think I'm in love with Osora. Im getting forced to hang out with with her but when I get a moment of free time I go for a walk around the castle. As I'm walking past the library I hear faint crying. When I walk in I see Osora crying in the corner. I run over to him trying to comfort him. All I can hear is incoherent mubbling but one thing is said clearly. "Im just so in love with you and you're marrying Catalina-" When I hear that my brain freezes and my body moves on its own. I grab the back of his neck and kiss him. He kisses me back and when he pulls away we sit in silence untill I speak first " I love you. I love you so much and I can't pretend any longer." we kiss again but this time he pulls me in. Its deeper this time with more emotion. Osora pulls away and says, " wait if someone sees us we could get caught-" at that moment we heard the door close and we knew we were in touble.
Twenty minutes later there was a meeting with Arias, Osora, Maxim, the king, and Catalina. no words were said but the picture of Osora and Arias kissing. Catalina looks broken and Maxim just has a smirk on his face. He was the one that took the picture.
We were kicked out of the castle but Arias and I walked to a farm on the outskirts of the kingdom and lived a happy life with no one judging us. We lived a great life and got a cat together. We lived happily ever after. The end.
