The world of Class of ’09 was not one Kit was prepared to enter, with multiple endings and an evil protagonist.
“OK so who leads this game?” said Kit.
And upon meeting Nicole, she did what everyone except Karen would do and accuse Jeffery of causing it.
“WHAT THE HELL? Did Jeffery make a robot catgirl?” Said Nicole upon seeing this girl.
“Who’s Jeffery?” said Kit.
“Some kid who would fall in love with you” said Jecka as they were just about to steal the CD from FYE before getting caught.
“Who is the protagonist? Everyone in this game is so evil.” thought Kit.
Every person she found was evil, except Karen who wanted to research her. And Jeffery… just look.
“What? Is this real?” said Jeffery.
"Yeah this is real alright, but..." and this was followed by Jeffrey running away because he now thought catgirls are mean.
After realizing that there wasn’t any killing going on, she was just left defenseless. She focused on trying to target Coach Colby but to no avail. Ms. Ames saw no interest. But everything would take a turn when the world actually ended. And when looking for a protagonist, she also ended up empty handed, dead ending on Kelly, Ari, and Karen for some reason.
“Hey Nicole, good luck tonight!” said Hunter.
“Good luck to you too!” Said Nicole as she sent the photo to the actual villain, Megan. Unlike every other would-be villain (except maybe Kylar), she was a student just like Nicole. But Kylar hadn’t done anything in this particular section of the game.
The play begins, and Megan’s crashout emerges at the 2 minute mark.
“WHAT THE—” screamed Crispin he fell off and got obliterated.
“IT WAS THOSE TWO?” Screamed Kit as they noticed Nicole and Megan getting spared.
“Oh you again what are you—“ said Nicole.
“Nicole this might sound crazy but you need to come with me.”
“Yes! We managed to destroy another world.” Said Miss Information in her British voice.
“Since when do British people like to kill us?” Said Nicole.
“Ok, does this sound better?” Said Miss Information in an American voice.
“What the, why do you sound exactly like me when you talk like an American?” Said Nicole.
“Probably be cause Elsie Lovelock voices both of us” said Miss Information.
“Who is that? And what you you mean by ‘voices us’?” said Nicole
“I’m going too then!” Screamed Megan.
“But you’re the—“ said Kit as Megan chased them in an attempt to save their life.
“I’m coming too Nicole!” Said Jecka, who was 0.5 seconds away from losing her life to the world getting destroyed. Or at least NoVA.
“Wow we managed to recover 3 inhabitants, that’s a record.” Said Kaboodle.
“OK what is going on? Did everyone just die except me, Nicole, and Megan? And why did the three of us have to get stuck to this catgirl and a dinosaur from a game we played when we were like 7?” Said Jecka.
“And what did that hot girl say about this Elsie Lovelock?” Said Nicole.
“OK listen, we come from world called the Gameoverse, where if you beat the game the world ends. But your world didn’t have an obvious protagonist because you were just evil. There was this gym coach that I accidentally killed—” Said Kit.
“You killed coach Colby? You just scored a victory for women!” Said Jecka.
“Right before that text killed everyone except the three of us.” Said Nicole.
“Was I the real villain?” Said Megan.
“We all are. I destroyed my world too.” said Kit.
“And who is that Elsie Lovelock person?” said Nicole.
“Oh she just gave you your voice, it’s what the developers wanted. She apparently laughed a lot when recording your dialogue.” said Gobbles.
“So the ‘real world’ isn’t that awful?” asked Jecka.
“We’ll see about that mwahahaha!” laughed Kayli Mills from the other side of the fourth wall.
“But does that mean…” said Megan before she burst out in tears for the second time in 57 minutes over the existentialism she faced from being just a video game character. The god she had spent the past 17 years worshipping was a man who ragebaited all over the world.
“We’ve all been through this. Just learn about the new world.” said Gobbles.
“What he said” said Kit.
“At least I don’t have to deal with my dad again” said Jecka.
“And I don’t have to deal with that counselor and my mom and Jeffery and Kylar".
“But what do we do when we save both the hero and the villain?” Said Kaboodle.
“Uh…” Muttered Kit.
