The Hoshiumi's adjusted well in settling with their new growing family.
Schwieden Adler's all-rounder player and 3-time back-to-back Omega MVP of the league, Korai Hoshiumi, took a break from volleyball and was excluded from future activities after the Schwieden Adler's second game against the Red Falcon for the reason of Korai Hoshiumi is reportedly 3 months pregnant when he first stepped out the volleyball scene.
Currently, he's basking in the pregnancy glow at the sixth month. Korai kept his hair short but he has visible growing curls that he always complain about. Sachiro doesn't mind reassuring the omega over and over again that all hairstyle would look good on him that it doesn't matter. Of course, that earn the alpha a place on the couch.
Korai's belly was swelling and he has tears forming on the corner of his eyes as he tried to get his favorite pants on, heck he can't even see his own feet!
The distress must've cause his phermones to sour that reached his alpha who just finished shower and came out immediately from the shared bathroom of their bedroom wearing only a jogger and a towel on his shoulder.
Hoshiumi Sachiro took his wife's name and worships the ground his omega walked on, he also didn't hesitate to go over Korai's side before he even had a chance on a shirt on.
The brunette guided Korai to sit on the bed as he brushed some hair and the sweat away from the omega's face. His voice gentle and soft as he asks, "What's wrong?"
"It-It's your fault! I can't put my pants on! And... And my feet! I can't see my feet, Sachiro!" Korai broke through hiccups.
Sachiro pressed his lips against Korai's temple while he caress the omega's swelling belly. "I'll help you baby, don't cry, okay?"
"I can't jump anymore!" Korai cried more while his alpha tried to console him.
Said alpha only pressed another kiss on Korai's cheeks as he discreetly grab another pair of strechy pajama from the nearby cabinet.
"It's only for now, once we see our baby they're gonna know how amazing you are." Sachiro continued to pepper his mate with kisses and gentle touch on their baby inside Korai's belly.
Sachiro pulled out the pants the omega's trying to wear in a gentle manner. He helped his mate in getting into the pajama while whispering reassure words.
"C'mon, Korai-kun. We need to go to the OB-GYNE now for your scheduled check up." The brunette encouraged Korai as he fixed Korai's hair.
No matter how many times Sachiro looked at him, Korai really does look glowing. The baby bump is visible under the white maternity dress shirt. Korai had already calmed down and his alpha made sure to prepare the slippers that Korai could easily wear and he also grabbed a cardigan for his omega.
The alpha took a leave today from the hospital, thankfully the hospital is only a 5 minute ride from their home. It didn't take long for them to arrive at their scheduled appointed to their gynecologist.
He made sure to hold Korai's hands as they wait on the lobby. Korai took his seat and Sachiro just stood in front of him, the seat was quite tall so the alpha had no problem in holding the white-haired's hands and massaging them as they wait their turn.
They didn't mind when the lobby got a bid crowded as more and more people came in. What surprised them is the patient sitting beside Korai.
"What are you doing here?" Korai asked in sincerity.
The omega beside him frown and covered his face. His mole and curly hair still making him recognizable despite the mask. "It's not what you think."
"How do you know what I think, Sakusa?" Korai deadpanned.
Sachiro switched to massage his omega's other hand as Korai continued to pester the poor Sakusa on what business does he have with the gynecologist. The alpha kept listening but really doesn't pay much attention, last he heard was about Sakusa fucking around the last team's after party and hooking up with Miya after, surprised and worried that his scheduled heat didn't come through after 3 weeks of said team party.
While Korai enjoyed his conversation with his co-worker, sadly it had to be cut short since the assistant nurse had called their name.
"Hoshiumi Korai?"
"Here." Sachiro answered for him as he gathered their stuff and held Korai's hands.
Korai had a hand under his belly and waved goodbye to the raven-head omega. "I'll see you around, Sakusa!"
The alpha kept one hand guiding Korai's lower back and his other hand had a firm grip on their bag thrown over Sachiro's shoulders as they walked towards the room.
Soon the omega was intructed to lie down on the bed, Sachiro stayed close and smiled when he noticed the nervousness in Korai's face.
"Are you ready?" The doctor asked.
Korai squeezed the brunette's hand. They looked at each other and nodded. Korai put out a determined face, "Yes."
The doctor squeezed a good about of gel onto her hands as she lifted the dress shirt the hospital provided.
"This will be cold." Was the only warning Korai got as the doctor spread the gel on top of his round belly.
She prepared the machine and turn on the monitor. The transducer glided around his belly and from the display screen they could see their little bundle of life.
Sachiro kissed the hands on his with his eyes glued to the screen. He could smell the faint scent of excitement coming from Korai.
"I see you guys are excited. Do you want to know the gender?" The doctor offered.
"Yes!" Korai answered excitedly. Sachiro brushed his other hand on through the latter's forehead to his hair. "Yes, whatever he wants."
"As I can see here, this is the baby's hands and... this one is the feet." She moved the transducer around. "From here, we're sure that you guys are having a boy. Congratulations!"
Sachiro could feel his breath hitched, Korai was squeezing his hand hard and his eyes showed pure awe towards the monitor.
The doctor had to distract the couple. "Do you guys want a copy of your ultrasound?"
Almost immediately, the two agreed.
Soon they moved to a more formal office where the couple sat across each other and in front the doctor. The doctor began asking questions about Korai's pregnancy progress and began recommending additional vitamins.
"I've told you guys since your first tri-semester, absolutely no alcohol but maybe a bit wine but that's it. No sex or any other physical activity since you're in your last semester now, we can't risk it. Take the vitamins and medicines regularly, though the baby's healthy and is in a good position so you're doing fine." Doctor rattled about and the couple only nodded, attentively listening.
"Well, you're past the morning sickness stage and maybe you'll crave more things now. In your seventh and eigth month you may get some braxton hicks contractions but it's normal, it's just your body preparing for birth." She listed some more additional details and paused as she accepted a brown folder from her assistant. "We need to increase our visits instead of twice a month, let's schedule once a week visits from now on. And here is the 3 copies of ultrasound you asked for."
They were dismissed from doctors office and the way out they exchanged curt nods with Sakusa who was called in next.
Once they have stepped into their home Sachiro prepared a cup of black coffee with the right amount of sugar just how Korai likes it along with another black coffee but simmering in bitterness.
He handed the coffee to his omega on the couch and slid beside him. The alpha put his coffee down to bury his face on Korai's obviously swelling chest, his hands gently caressing the belly carrying their little bundle of life.
"So... any name ideas?" Sachiro asked, the commercial audio from the TV sounding static as they focused on their own world.
"I'm thinking about Kaisei or... Ryujin. What do you think?" Korai asked excitedly as he sipped more from his coffee.
"If you can't decided maybe combine them? Like... Kairyu?"
"Ohh, it's genius! Means ocean dragon, our son's gonna be cool!"
Sachiro let out a light laughter. When Korai settled the mug on the coffee table, the alpha pushed him gently to lay his head down on the arm of the couch while he has his head softly pressed against Korai's beating stomach.
At that moment they were trapped in their own bubble, minds floating away with the countless possibility of their growing family. If God gave Sachiro another shot in life, he's chose to spend it with Korai again and again.
