Desire

Summary:

"You wanted to meet. I'm here." Ewron said, the last two words coming out in a sarcastinc tone, since he was stating the obvious.

Ash walked up all the way to him, so close that the assassin had to tilt his head a little to maintain eye contact.

"Yes. We need to talk." Ash said, his voice low and serious.

Or:

Ash is mad at Ewron for dodging his questions constantly, but he can't help himself around Ewron either.

Notes:

Work Text:

Ash was incredibly mad at Ewron.

They had talked multiple times after Ghosty had given Ewron the book, which contained a claim of hers: that they had to build the altar for her, otherwise Ewron would die.

And yet, every time Ash asked him if he's okay, Ewron dodged the question with his forever lasting rants.

Ash was sitting in the pantheon alone, thinking hard. It felt empty and cold ever since the regime started falling apart.

What could he do?

How could he make Ewron see the seriousness of the situation he was in?

It seemed that Ewron completely avoided the topic, but why?

Ash felt a sudden need to see the other man's face.

This wasn't new.

Since the very first day they had met, day by day he grew more attached to Ewron.

Something about him kept making Ash want more and more. Like he could never get enough of that stupid face and his dumb monologues, which were usually completely irrelevant to the topic of disucussion.

Even though Ewron was spitting nonsense most of the time, Ash could listen to it for the rest of his life.

The way his voice got all high pitched when he was excited, or the small sounds he made while thinking. When he talked about the horrible things he had done, and you could hear the grin in his voice.

What a deeply disturbed individual.

Just how Ash liked it.

That was it. He messaged Ewron:

Come to the regime, we need to talk.

Ash thought about the last time he had seen Ewron.

Ewron's naturally flirty voice made it hard to focus on what he was saying.

Every time they talked, it always felt just a little bit too intimate and personal to be a casual conversation.

Surely Ewron felt it too.

When they were just a little too close and Ash could hear the steady rythm of his breathing.

Or when they were sitting in a boat and Ash could feel Ewron's chest against his back. The way he propped his chin against Ash's shoulder, so that every time Ewron opened his mouth, Ash could hear his voice right next to his ear.

It sent a shiver down Ash's spine just thinking about it.

Ewron sent him back a simple message:

Coming.

So Ash waited.

Even though he wanted to just stare at the beautiful face that belonged to his blade, he needed to remind himself not to get too excited about the meeting.

Ash was still mad at him after all.

"Supreme leader?" Came from someones mouth just then.

Ash looked up, and he was met with the familiar face of the red panda.

He stood up from the chair, smoothing out the wrinkled fabric of his pants.

He could see the way Ewron's brows furrowed just a little at the words, before he fixed his expression into that usual grin again.

Ewron was just about to open his mouth to say something, when they heard two voices coming closer to the pantheon.

It sounded like Tubbo and most likely Graf, but Ash didn't keep listening.

Instead, he grabbed Ewron's wrist, pulling him to the direcrion of the elevator before the people could actually see them.

Ewron let out a small, surprised gasp at the sudden movement, as his legs picked up the fast pace Ash had chosen.

Quickly, Ash closed the doors, the elevator starting to move to the upper floor.

Ash let out a tired sigh that both of them heard very clearly in the quietness of the small space they were standing in.

Ewron cleared his throat awkwardly.

"Ash." Ewron said quietly, a little chuckle escaping his mouth.

The red panda turned his head to look at Ash, a sly smile creeping up his face.

"You're going to hold my hand for the rest of the night?" He then asked, so smugly it sounded more like a command than a question.
Ash rolled his eyes at the remark that he knew was meant to catch him off guard, but he couldn't fight back the blush that creeped up on his face and the tips of his ears.

The elevator reached the upper floor with a "ding" sound.

Before Ash could get himself more distracted, he swiftly pulled Ewron out of the elevator with him, and they entered the huge room.

As soon as they were inside, he let go of Ewron's wrist, swinging him further into the room.

"Wow, the supreme leader's room looks just like him." Ewron said, sounding uninterested.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Ash asked, trying to sound casual, but it was obvious he was slightly offended.

"Well," Ewron exhaled the word out "you know, boring, bland, it shows no emotion." He continued, clearly trying to get a reaction out of him.

"That's simply not true." Ash said, knowing exactly what game the assassin was trying to play.

Instead of letting Ewron mess with his mind more than he already had, Ash walked up to the corner where the other man was standing.

He let himself hesitate for just a second before pressing both of his hands against the cold quartz, trapping Ewron in between.

Ewron froze in place, his eyes widening while awkwardly searching for something to look at other than Ash's face.

They stood there in silence for just a second before Ewron's gaze fixed on Ash's face, the confused look giving way to his usual smug expression as all the hesitation from a moment ago vanished.

"What is this, supreme leader?" The man questioned.

Ash could still recognize the playful tone in Ewron's voice, the title given to him adding to the way the man clearly played with his words.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" Ash asked in a whisper-yelling tone, still aware of the people downstairs, who could hear their conversation.

"What do you mean?" Ewron asked in that innocent tone that was easily mistaken for being genuine, but Ash knew it was just for the show.

"Why are you ignoring me?" Ash asked, sounding frustrated and a little confused.

"I'm right here, what do you mean by ignoring?" Ewron said, his brows knitting together.

"Don't play dumb Ewron, i know what you're doing." Ash said exhaling the words out, a humourless laugh escaping his lips.

Before Ewron could open his mouth to ask another stupid question, Ash inhaled sharply.

"You are dying." Ash said, voice low.

"Why are you dodging the subject entirely? Because i'm more worried about you as the days go on, and you not answering me is making this even harder to deal with." Ash exclaimed, clear frustration and worry in his voice.

Ewron looked down, avoiding eye contact. Ash moved his left hand from the wall, tilting Ewron's chin up with his thumb and index finger, forcing the man to look him in the eyes.

It took a while for him to lift his gaze, so they stood there in silence both waiting for the other to say something.

Ewron finally looked up, directing his gaze at Ash.

He searched for something in the supreme leader's face for a small, quiet moment before his eyes darted at his lips.

Subconciously, the red panda licked his own lips, while a smirk started tugging at the corners of his mouth.

Ash's eyes widened at the sight, and he could feel the heat creeping up his neck. His left hand dropped from Ewron's face back to the quartz wall.

While Ash was completely lost in his thoughts, Ewron slowly lifted his hands and clutched the lapels of his suit, careful not to break the moment.

Ash looked him directly in the eyes. He remembered the thoughts about making sure to be actually mad at Ewron this time, but was it his fault the assassin made himself so tempting?

Subconciously, Ash leaned in, and Ewron closed the remaining distance between them.

The kiss was gentle and slow at first. Ewron's lips felt plush against his own as they glided over his bottom lip, kissing Ash softly.

Ash slid both his hands down to Ewron's waist, his grip tightening as he pulled him closer. That made Ewron let out a quiet hum of agreement, and he pulled Ash impossibly close.

The kiss broke for a small moment, and Ash could feel Ewron's breath ghosting at his lips.

Ash's mind was completely blurred now, his brain only registering the urgent feeling of want.

He closed the distance again, this time being way more rough and passionate.

Ash started grazing at Ewron's lower lip, which made him open his mouth with a sharp sigh, and Ash took the chance, sliding his tongue inside.

He explored thoroughly, while gripping tightly at his waist, grounding him completely.

The kiss had quickly deepened into a breathless, open-mouthed mess, their tongues gliding, teeth clashing, while Ewron's hands slid to the back of Ash's head, grabbing handfuls of dark, curly hair.

They were both completely out of air when Ash finally broke the kiss again, their ragged breaths somewhat in sync.

Ash bent down just enough that his mouth aligned with Ewron's neck.

He then placed a small kiss on his pulse point, making Ewron shiver.

The supreme leader started placing kisses all over his neck and jaw. First they were gentle and sweet, but quickly turned into rough bites which made Ewron squirm.

"Ash." Ewron sighed, out of pain or pleasure, maybe both, when he bit hard at a sensitive spot under his jaw.

He continued for a while longer before breaking off his lips from the assassin's neck with a slick sound.

Ewron looked at the taller man with a questioning look.

"Why did you stop?" He asked, clearly frustrated.

However, the question went over Ash's head completely, as he was fully focused on the fuzzy tail wagging behind the red panda.

Ash figured it implied frustration, but he was way too curious for his own good.

He ignored Ewron's question, and instead slid his palm towards the base of the fluffy tail where it connected to his spine, stroking it lightly.

Ash didn't know what kind of reaction he had expected, but the loud mix of a whimper and a purr that escaped Ewron's mouth, along with the action of his hips bucking forward involuntarily, was definitely not what he had in mind.

The heat crept instantly on both of their faces, Ewron being just as surprised about it as Ash.

"Don't fucking do that ever again!" Ewron yelled, clearly embarrased about the unintentional reaction.

Ash was still in the moment, replaying the explicit sound in his head like he could live through it again if he thought about it hard enough.

"You ruined the moment." Ewron said, still a little ashamed.

Ash finally let go of Ewron, but he still couldn't fully come down to earth.

"I have to go sleep, remember that altar we have to build." Ewron said, annoyance and visible tiredness in his voice.

"You can sleep here." Ash blurted out before he could even think what he said.

Ewron gave him a judging look, before he started walking towards the other side of the room where the bed was, yelling "you're not getting me tonight!"

The words caught Ash off guard, an even worse blush coloring his face.

"That is not what i meant." Ash yelled back, even though he knew a small part of him was lying.

Ash walked up to the bed where Ewron had already made himself comfortable, laying on the left side, tail curled around his body acting as a blanket.

He lowered himself on the bed, turning to face the red panda.

As he pulled the covers over them, Ewron was already in a state of sleep.

Ash hesitated for a while before finally choosing to lift his arm, sliding it down to Ewron's back and pulling him slightly closer.

Ewron, unconcious already, propped his head in the crook of Ash's neck.

The warm puffs of breath against his skin felt comforting.

Before Ash dazed off fully, he remembered the original plan of being mad at Ewron, which failed miserably once again and he was left with another day of him dodging the question.

Well, at least he got to kiss Ewron.
