Call Me Fighter, Call Me Lover

Summary:

When Sharpness did what he had to do, in order to keep the peace between him and Jude, he never thought that said action will lead to his own body deteriorating from love. Something he only thought would happen in foolish romantic books. A simple feeling, he thought would easily go away if he distanced himself enough, makes him suffer so much.

Or, Sharpness with Hanahaki disease

Notes:

Please bear with me, chapters will be coming out slowly since I am a slow writer but trust this gonna be good guys

There will be a proper summary one day to this, once I have all 5 chapters that I had planned out written so trust the process

Also I just wanted to write Sharpness and sharplow since I love this ship sm and I saw there is very few of these fics and who doesn't like a good trope of hanahaki disease.

Well I hope you enjoy this chapter, please keep in mind that English is not my first language and I am also dyslexic so if you see any spelling or grammatical mistakes that I missed while proof reading don't mind it

Work title is Fighter by Jack stauber

The night howled through the dense dark oak forest, despite no wolves being nearby, only the whistle of the wind between the thick trunks and shading leaves. The sky was clear, only gloomy clouds barely illuminated by the reflection of the moon’s light that was making their way towards the direction of spawn from the nearby ocean Sharp was able to spot where the mountain range didn’t reach.

Either way, Sharpness knew that the rain clouds were coming towards him, just by looking at them, he knew to expect rainfall early in the morning. By where the half of the moon shone, he was able to predict that the time was near one am. Or maybe two. Nonetheless, Sharpness knew he needed to rest before sunrise and before he had to start walking back towards spawn.

The campfire cracked in front of the blonde, fire lively and tall reaching. Sharpness sat on a fallen trunk; thick horse leather dropped across both of his knees to shield them from the sword he was currently sharpening. Metal, with a diamond coating in his gloved hand, dragging it against the edge with a screech that he was so used to after all the care he took after his beloved sword.

Sharpness seemed like he was in his own world, finally finding peace after a tiring battle he had. Sharp wasn’t someone who got tired quickly, no, he has lot of stamina, able to sprint for miles on end either chasing or trying to escape an outnumbered fight. Strangely enough, Sharpness noticed how quickly he became fatigued recently during battles. His throat had always been sore lately, which made Sharpness really hope he didn’t catch any kind of cold to make him this tired- that’s a big disadvantage in battle, it makes him more vulnerable and he can’t have that when he needs to win.

And not only fatigue but he also feels as if sometimes his lungs can’t get enough oxygen, making him heave during his fights which, again, is a big sign of vulnerability that he can’t have. He can’t lose any more battles, he’s on his last set of armor. It’s one of the main reasons he’s going towards spawn, to get into someone who is inactive base and loot them from the goods. It’s what he does a lot.

He thinks about who to steal from, someone who is out a lot, always doing something. Tai is quite rich, it would be efficient to steal from him since there’s a lower chance he’ll notice. But he further away from spawn on the negative z axis which made things more complicated for Sharpness.

He sighs, brows furrowing as he thinks more about even who is rich and stays at spawn— when a certain rabbit came to his mind. Strange feeling arose in his chest, almost pulling at the thought, making Sharpness stop his movements with the metal on his sword and take a deep breath that almost didn’t come to him. He swallowed, still trying to make the sore throat go away but it stays consistent.

Yeah. Maybe he could steal from Jude. Maybe even battle, and annoy him just to get a little bit of his attention, something he subconsciously craved. Something he only admitted himself recently, something that drained him in the past days to an extreme. Only Sharpness knew his feelings towards said rabbit hybrid, not telling any of the people he’s neutral with—since he doesn’t have any immediate teammates— because what if they can use it against him? And really, it was surely a simple crush. It’s nothing big.

Right. Nothing big, Sharpness thinks to himself as a deep unsettled feeling makes it’s home inside his chest, gawning away at him one by one. It’s ironic, since he’s been eating more, but he himself had noticed a drastic weight drop on himself. Maybe feelings really did start eating away at him. And because of that, he had been feeling much colder, and he’s sure that it’s not because of the wind in the high hills, since the spring was extremely warm this year. It maybe could be explained by his weight drop. It’s not alarming yet, since he can still fight good enough to win everything.

Well. Almost any fight. Outnumbered battles can be hard but he managed them a lot before. But escaping a certain someone’s trap was impossible, death was always in the end of those pits he had fallen into more than a hundred times. It makes his heart ache just thinking about the man, a strange longing to see him again, even just a glimpse of his purple hair and Sharpness would be happy. He swallowed again, placing down the stone onto the log, putting away his sword into the leather holder he had attached to his belt.

He blinks a few times at the bright fire in front of him, letting his imagination run wild. Jude beside him. He wishes it were true. He really wants to get back to spawn soon. Sharpness is aware that the betrayal he did a month or more ago was his fault. But he had a good reason.

Said reason we’re his feelings, because as much as he kept repeating to himself that it was just a simple crush— it was everything, but simple, and a crush. As much as he didn’t like to admit it, it was love. Love that will never be reciprocated. Especially after the betrayal. Even if on the strength, betrayal doesn’t mean anything, and how much Jude had forgiven him before, it doesn’t guarantee he will be forgiven again and that things will go back to how it was before of cat and mouse. Because even how Sharpness was the one to betray first, Jude outsmarted him, making a back up trap to a back up trap of a trap. He sighed, his chest aching even more.

Quiet the night was, stars looking down at the man from above, as if intensely watching him. Waiting for something. Like mother nature knew something Sharpness didn’t.

That something tickled the back of his throat. He tried to swallow it away, but that effort failed when the feeling remained. He has been coughing a lot more, trying to get whatever settled into his airway to get out. His throat remained sore—even after a week, which almost made Sharpness question if this is more serious or not— despite drinking more than usually to make it go away.

He coughed again, harder this time out of frustration.

To his confusion, two small petals fell out of his mouth into his fist, almost delicately. Covered in moist that Sharpness couldn’t exactly identify—since he’s not an expert at the human body— he stared at it with a puzzled expression making a weird noise and a quiet ‘what the-‘ as he thought through how they could’ve even get into his lungs in the first place.

He’s not a flower expert either but one thing was for sure that these petals were purple, light purple. In the night light, barely illuminated by the warmth of the campfire too, he almost swears it’s blue. But he’s not sure since he’s not the best with colors either. Could’ve he possibly accidentally inhale some petals while trudging through the wilderness? Sharpness wasn’t sure what kind of flowers are purple. Maybe the onion flower like flower in the meadow he walked through on his way up hill? But these petals were as big as one tiny flower that made up the whole plant head.

Or maybe some kind of potion that was thrown in threatening battle he was in with an invisible person. But what kind of potion could make someone cough up petals? Wouldn’t that be in bigger amounts then? Like the oozing potion or the silverfish one?

To say the least, Sharp was confused. Extremely so. But to keep the peace of the night he just brushed it off of his hand, cleaning the weird moist by dragging his hand down the leather still sitting in his lap, then putting that away too into the backpack he had on himself before laying down on the makeshift bed he made out of wool, staring at the night sky beside the warmth of the campfire. ‘Just don’t think about it, it’s probably nothing’ thought to himself Sharpness.

This was the first encounter he had with these petals.

The next time Sharpness saw these same purple petals fall out of his mouth was not even a thousand blocks out on the x axis, in an old growth birch forest, after a day of traveling from his last camp to here. Since it was getting night again, and he encountered more battles today than the day before, he thought it would be better to rest before going to spawn again. Since he was also feeling much more tired than he usually would, even after a day of fights. He would be able to walk to spawn if again, he wouldn’t be so fatigued. There is always something going on in that place.

He was sitting on another fallen log, campfire crackled in front of him. The sheep nearby were asleep, not belonging to any pastor. Just a wild herd. The sun had went down recently. Since it was spring already by how many flowers were blooming—so much that some even ended up in his lungs by accident— and how much warmer the air had been, the sun had gone down approximately at around 7-8 pm.

There was a river nearby too, a slow flow barely making any noise. Sharpness is much lower than in his previous camp, the air is different in the valley of a hill. Much to his struggle, Sharpness was able to catch two salmon for dinner, which was cooking over the campfire, filling the air with a nice smoky scent.

Just as Sharp anticipated, rain awaited him in the morning, clouds that stretched over two thousand blocks that had rained heavy upon him almost all day. His clothes and armor were completely soaked through, which is why they were draped over another fallen log opposite side of where Sharpness was sitting to dry completely before he was able to wear it again. For that reason he’s wearing something more simple that he had in his backpack for emergencies like this.

Sharpness was simply waiting for his meal to cook, his mind traveling deeper into itself, revisiting memories. Memories of a certain purple haired man, still when they were allies. Before he had done what he had to do in order to keep the peace between them in hopes of the feelings that were blooming in his chest would go away but ever since then it just gotten heavier and heavier that he just had to get them separated for the better.

The times when he witnessed Jude’s successful kill after a long pvp training, how happy they both were when Sharpness was able to bait someone into their trap. The long talks, hours on end at a trap site Jude was building and he was helping at, starring at the moon. A deep, unspoken trust between them dwindled just slightly, even if neither of them were the type who had teammates for long, something between them just clicked. Like they were meant to be together. As either teammates, or something more Sharp wished of.

Wind breezes through the lanky trees, Sharpness’ feels his eyes sting, surely from the sudden icy wave of air and the smoke blow away from his face. He’s not crying, fierce fighter doesn’t cry over stupid feelings that he has no time for. He feels himself getting more frustrated, agitated. Why does he feel this way? Why now? Why towards the person he’s supposed to hate? Even if the betrayal he planned was before he had made a reason to why actually go through with it, why did his heart decide that Jude was the person of all people on strength?

The weight of the void pulled Sharpness down, making it harder to breath. He’s not sure if it’s his mind playing with him or if it’s actually harder to take a breath. There’s a lump in his throat, he tries to swallow it away but to no avail it only drags itself further up, almost scraping the walls of his throat. He instinctively coughed, dry heaves.

Petals flow onto his hands again. This time it was around five petals, some tainted with blood and still moist that came from his own body. Sharpness swallowed, feeling the remaining taste of metal and something more bitter, probably from the petals.

His brows furrowed, confusion mixing with the simmering rage burning in his insides. He curls his hand into a fist, crumbling the petals up and let go of them over the fire.

His breathing was heavy, emotions mixing together, he can barely make out what is even causing such mess of feelings. Those petals didn’t even do anything to him, maybe he swallowed some in battle again and still then he had to take at least some anger out on those poor petals.

The wave of anger was washed over by sadness, his eyes stinging and this time he didn’t even try to deny what’s happening. He just looked down at the ground, grass swaying by the gentle breeze, only illuminated by the campfire. Tears filled his eyes, overflowing as small droplets landed on his bare hands laying still and helpless in his lap. Bangs fell over his face as he gritted his teeth to hold back any weak sobs that wanted to spill over as streaks started to run down his cheeks.

His shoulders shook as he brought up a hand to wipe away at his wet cheeks, trying to slow down his breathing with an exercise he learned when he was smaller for situations like this and other when he couldn’t afford to spiral into panic. He sighed, then taking a deep breath as he blinks up at the night sky, seeing the cloud that rained upon him all day finally leave, disappearing into the atmosphere to form another cloud later.

He can’t afford to be this emotional. Love be damned, Sharpness is a fighter. He doesn’t bother with love. No matter how important said person is to him because he should never be this dependent on feelings. He can’t trust it. He needs to rely on his thoughts and sword, not his heart that pulled and dragged for someone who would laugh in his face and humiliate him if he ever found out. Sharpness was very much aware that if only Jude knew what his heart is longing for, would only make him hate more if he didn’t already after and before the betrayal.

He sighed again, fatigue settled heavy over his shoulders, seeping into his bones. He was so tired. Everything that happened today and the day before, hell even the past week, maybe even weeks weighed Sharpness down. The kind of tiredness he felt in the moment was something he couldn’t even describe, so in the end, he just hoped that it’ll all go away soon. That everything that made him feel miserable at the dead of nights will be over soon.

He blinked down at the two salmon that was already golden brown, seemingly done by the time Sharpness was also done with the mess of his emotions, pushing them down deep inside. If he can’t feel it, it’s not there right? It can’t cause him any harm then, right? It’ll all be fine. He’ll just eat these two salmon, let his hair out, and sleep under the bright stars and the moon, watching over him instead, looking out for him when others don’t. Like it always been. He’ll be fine. It’s all temporary Anyway. Sharpness had went through worse things than a simple unrequited love. It’s not like he can die from love. That’s stupid, silly, and childish. It only happens in romance books.

He settled down onto his make shift bed on the grass. Looking up at the moon who stood tall above him. Promising. Careful. Caring and loving like no other. She’ll look after Sharpness, right? She’ll keep him safe under her gaze while he sleeps. She always does.

When morning dawned upon him, the sun was already low between the tree trunks. Dew covered the grass, the sheep from last night had already made their way to a new patch of grass away south. Beside Sharp, the only things that remained of yesterday night’s campfire was ember, barely glowing, almost fully out.

As Sharpness opened his eyes just barely to gaze up at the cloudless sky, dark blue bleeding into light yellow as the sun rose with him. The morning was always calmer than the night, Sharp knew that for sure.

Wiping away at the crust in his eyes from last night, he sighed, wanting to lay a but more but he knew he had to get going before anyone finds him. Though, when he sat up, he saw petals that were previously laying on his chest and around his neck fell onto his lap. Same color, dried blood decorating the petals. If he said that he was confused, that would be a lie. Because he’s sure that he himself coughed up them in the dead of night, rolling in his makeshift mattress, in a half awake haze and the night dark that his memories provided him with.

He tries to swallow at the view of the petals instinctively, but his throat was dry as the desert, still sore as ever. Lump in his throat, pit in his stomach. He groans in weak frustration, brushing off the petals from his legs as he reaches for the wooden cup of water that he had boiled the night before to wash down his dinner with. Said dinner left overs sat at the end of the stone rings that he had put around the campfire.

He chugs down the water, but decides to leave the food there and whatever remained of his camp that wasn’t necessary for Sharpness. Some wild animal will take the meat if not ants that will get to it first.

His armor was already fully dried, only small droplets of dew stuck to the outsides of it. He changes back, sword ready by his side as he packs everything back up into his backpack to continue his traveling back towards spawn.

Sharpness had made it near spawn by noon, only around two hundred blocks away with little stops to let a few petals, gnawing at his throat, fall out of his mouth before he was attacked again by an invisible player. The same one who attacked him two sundowns ago.

And usually, Sharpness is always ready for a fight, maybe a little bit eager too. But he just can’t resist the adrenaline of being fought against then the relief of winning said fight. Most of the times, he does win.

But recently, as he thought about it before, he has been feeling more out of breath than previously, and he has a slight hunch that it has to do something with the sore throat, the little petals.

This vulnerability is something he cannot show during fights, but its easier said than done, since it’s a bit hard to hide how he heaves, trying to catch his breath and still seem energized when he felt like his limbs were about to give out.

The invisible figure, netherite armor, with lapis trims decorating it, a sharp sword in their right hand, their left holding a simple shield, no banner decorating it to give a hint of who even it is.

They stood tall in front of Sharpness, they had dropped down from a high, old growth birch tree, right in front of Sharpness’ path. Sharp instinctively pulled out his sword from its leather holder, holding it steady in his right hand.

“You came for a second round? You’re lucky you’re even alive after the first.” Sharp spoke, his goal was to sound loud and confident but his voice was hoarse, cracked in the middle of his sentence. Despite that, he still stood his ground, just slightly embarrassed by his voice, cussing out whatever made him sick in this moment.

He could’ve simply not said anything at all, since the figure won’t speak, didn’t speak two days ago either, Sharpness simply wanted to intimidate the person, but now that obviously won’t work.

The moments stretched a second more than it should’ve, before the figure stepped forward with confidence, throwing wind charge under themselves flying them up, and slightly pushing Sharpness away, almost off of his feet. With the little reaction time he had, he barely saw the glimpse of a mace, just barely able to succeed of pulling out his shield to block the attack. The person didn’t hesitate, when the first hit with the mace didn’t work he used his sword to slash at Sharp who was able to block it in time with his own sword, metal screeching, clanking at the hit.

The figure stepped back, pulling his sword away to attack from another point where he was able to stab at Sharpness’ side, armor barely stopping the blade from penetrating if not for the chain armor under it. He recovered quickly enough to counter back with a slash of his own, against the figure’s side, their own armor enough to absorb most of the attack, only leaving a small mark in the chest plate.

But before Sharpness could react, the person threw up a wind charge high into the blue sky, throwing a pearl after it that soon hit it, making them teleport  high enough to get a massive mace hit at Sharpness. To his horrible luck, Sharpness was barely able to see the person, sun in the middle, shine blocking Sharp from being able to see properly, having to squint and burrow his brows so he doesn’t go blind from the brightness, he wasn’t able to determine how high the person was, or where they will take hit.

With that fact in mind, Sharpness tried to block such big hit by putting his shield over his head, but before he was able to raise his arm above his body, massive weight of metal struck his chest, just nearly missing his head of an instant kill and losing everything he has on himself at the moment.

He was knocked off of his foot, barely able to mutter out a curse at the figure, heaving as air couldn’t reach his lungs. Not only the broken ribs penetrating his lungs that made it hard to catch his breath but he could feel the same tickling, prickling feeling of petals in his throat wanting their ways out.

Sharpness drops his sword, clutching at his chest, his armor wasn’t even able to absorb most of the attack. He sits in the grass, too focused on the fact that he literally can’t breath. The only thing he notices is a shadow casted by the figure who stood tall over him, axe in hand, knowing full well how low Sharpness must be after a blow like that. Which was true, Sharpness was indeed low, but he couldn’t afford looking even more vulnerable than he already did.

So he tried to grab at his sword laying by his side, grabbing at the handle with trembling hands just as the figure raised their axe over their head. In the distance, Sharpness swears he heard a firework go off and armor switching just in the haze of his oxygen deprived mind. He thought he was simply hallucinating, when the figure in front of him was knocked off of their feet by another person, a white blur of face and netherrite armor, glinting with enchants under the sunlight of the open area in the forest.

Sharpness was baffled, almost alarmed by the new presence, but considering that they attacked the invisible person instead of the already vulnerable Sharp might mean that it’s an ally that saw him.

He felt relieved when he heard the voice of the person he trusted ever since they joined, despite the history of betrayals Sharpness has, said person still became an ally of his. “Need a helping sword?”

“Sapa!” he tried to yell out, accent thick, but his voice gave out before the last syllable, cracking, two petals falling off of his tongue as he opened his mouth. Despite that, he still smiled, wide, blood staining his teeth just slightly.

His health was critically low, but seeing as the invisible person fly away mid fight made Sharpness alarms finally stop. Its weird how they fled, despite Saps not being so feared here in strength at least. Sharp tried to breath but pain struck through his entire body. He needed healing potions ASAP.

Fortunately for him, Saps made the decision to not follow the invisible player once he made sure that the figure wouldn’t come back around, he turned towards his ally and splashed two potions right beside Sharpness, enough to mostly heal his broken bones and lungs.

“For a player with such weapon they surely are a scaredy cat.” He made a comment, mostly muttering to himself about the player he was only able to deal one hit on, gazing towards the blue sky they fled to. Saps couldn’t lie, that made him just slightly annoyed that he wasn’t able to fight for his ally.

From the corner of his eye, he saw Sharpness stir from the spot he was sitting at, finally able to breath— wait no, it looks like he still has trouble breathing. Concern raises inside Saps chest, he turns towards the blonde man, netherrite armor clanking from the both of them. Sharpness struggled to get up, still clutching at his chest, chest plate cracked where he was struck before. Out of instinct, Saps reached out with a hand to help Sharp stand up, raising a brow at the blonde as he started to question the swordsman.

“Dude, are you good? What was that? You never let yourself get hit like that, not from what I saw and heard.” Making sure his ally is steady on his feet before he let go, crossing his arms, confusion and naked concern written on Saps face.

“I—” Sharpness sighed, unsure where to even start. “I don’t even know man—” Sharp’s voice was weak, barely above a whisper, as if he lost his voice, cracking in the middle of his sentence raspy like a dry throat, which is pretty accurate because that’s how his throat felt. Like if something big was stuck in his throat, and frankly, despite it not being big, Sharpness was aware of the petals that were wanting their way out.

Though, his sentence was cut short by an even more worried Saps, hand coming to grab at Sharp’s shoulder piece to bring attention to himself. “Holy shit dude! You sound awful! What the hell happened?” Gold eyes wide, worry obvious in them. He’s not one to let his allies suffer, especially not one who helped him out in so many ways.

Sharpness doesn’t know what to do with the fact that someone is worried for his well being, but he puts it at the back of his mind for late night thoughts, before clearing his throat as if that would help in any way.

“Well as I would’ve explained before you rudely cut me off-, I don’t know.” He shrugged, crossing his arms. Though, he continued when Saps didn’t say anything and just stared at him with furrowed brows. “I mean, I’ve been sick- I think? For the past week or so and I don’t even know what it is but it’s annoying—” with his voice raised, it cracked horribly mid sentence, going higher than intended almost a feminine voice, making him stop, clear his throat and continue as an embarrassed blush crept up his cheeks.

“It’s annoying because it makes me more sluggish, like you saw how slow I reacted to that blow- if I was healthy right now I could’ve beat their ass! But noo—” He elongated the o, “I just have to be sick right now! I am feeling much more tired too, and my throat hurts so much too, it’s been sore for so long! it’s so annoying.” Saps let Sharpness complain himself out, accent thick despite having minimum voice, Saparata nodded along like a good ally. He haven’t seen Sharpness for quite a few days, which also means that Sharpness was mostly by himself those days when he wasn’t being fought against.

“Really? For over a week?” he asked, just as confused since most common colds were gone after five to six days maximum. “Yes!” Sharpness answered, flaying his arms, his voice cracking with the vowel, going a higher note than intended.

“Have you taken any herbs? Tea or something?” Saps questioned, withdrawing his hand to cross his arms over his chest plate. Sharpness just a little bit offended that Saparata wouldn’t think that he would take herbs if he was sick.

“Of course I took herbs! I even stole some from Loppezz on my way, she wasn’t even in her base.” Sharpness shrugged his shoulders, armor clanking as he does so. “and mind you, tea is not so easy to get when you don’t have a place to stay at.” Sharp rolled his eyes, and Saps couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle, having to admit that the idea was stupid knowing full well neither of them have a base.

“You’re right, you’re right, my bad.” He held up his hands in defense, silence stretched between the two just as they were thinking. Crows above them fled away, the river that Sharpness has been following which will lead him to spawn, flow at a fast pace, filling the silence with the crickets in the grass.

“Hm.. maybe we could read something about it in a book? Maybe see if your symptoms match some kind of disease’s symptoms and play doctor by —” just as Saps thought out loud, he stopped himself when he saw Sharpness almost topple over himself at the coughing attack he found himself in, fist at his mouth, another hand clutching at his chest.

His lungs burned, dry coughing as mean petals had scrapped up the insides of his throat, he could taste the metallic blood on his tongue as he heaved, the faint bitter taste of the purple petals that stuck to the dry flesh, falling out of his mouth onto the grass and his fist. Just this action alone made Sharpness feel even more tired, despite barely having done anything today.

Saparata just stood beside Sharpness, eyes blown wide, mouth open in surprise and bafflement. Worry took over most of his emotions, as it seemed to do today for the umpteenth time that he was spending with the blonde man.

“Sharpness? Are you okay?— what the fuck..” Saps trailed off as he saw a small smudged of blood against Sharp’s lips, he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw purple petals with some tainted in blood in Sharpness’ palm. Dread ran down his spine, but he choose to guard his expression, focusing on rather how Sharp is feeling at the moment, not wanting to get ahead of himself and assume the worst. “Did— did you swallow some petals or-?” he asked, hands uselessly in the air, hovering above Sharp’s back.

“Fucking hell..” Sharp cussed, finally straightening his back out, a hand still stayed at his chest, despite it not hurting, not as much as his throat is feeling right now. “I’m fine— it’s been like this since two days, dude. I don’t know what’s going on but it’s killing my throat.” Sharpness complained, rubbing at the front of his neck as if it would soothe the pain.

“Shit dude. Yeah we better get to know what’s doing this as soon as possible before any of your enemies find out that you’re sick. I bet they would be ruthless about it.” Saps sighed, rubbing at his forehead, pushing his bangs out of the way of his eyes.

“Yeah.” Sharpness agreed, already done and just wanting to feel like his healthy self again and not have to worry about being jumped when his reaction time is so bad, how he feels exhausted by not even doing anything and the constant dry throat, the feeling as if something is stuck in there. He just wants to get better.

“Who even has a library though? And would even let us in?” Sharp asked, raising a brow at Saps, challenging his memories of the active members of strength.

Saps hummed, before proposing his idea. “Don’t Tai and Noob have a library? Their base is quite big, and they are the richest in here so. It would make sense honestly, they gotta have something about diseases.”

“Yeah, well— even though you’re right, I doubt they will ever let us inside. Or- at least me.” Sharpness countered, rolling his eyes. Negative thoughts about what the other players thought of him rose in his mind but he pushed them aside once again, later for late night thoughts.

“Okay, but who said they have to know that we are there?” Saparata smirked, mischief sparked in his golden eyes.

“You’re saying.. that we should sneak in and read through their library.” Sharpness raised a brow, voice annoyingly cracking in-between the sentence once again but he came to ignore it by now.

“Yes exactly! If we are invis’ they won’t notice a thing!” Saps reassured, hooking an arm around Sharpness’ shoulder as he lead the two towards the mountain Tai and Noob resided in.

“We better get there quick, don’t want no disease taking my teammate out.” Saps joked, walking up front once he withdrew his arm, leaving Sharpness to walk behind him a few steps away. Teammates. Sharpness wondered if Saps really considered him his teammate. Subconsciously, he could feel himself feeling lighter just slightly more than before.

Soon, he caught up to Saps, the two taking off with elytras.
