When rain hits metal it makes a sound. Something that could be calming once in a while but with this rain it was constant. The rain seemed to speed up as a giant purple vortex appeared and dropped something into the jungle of Melemele Island. This person was just a teenager who seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time kind of incident. They fell quickly to the ground after going through sticks and leaves of the trees. The person laid on their back a groan escaped their mouth. They looked up and saw the purple vortex close up as the pain settled into their body sending them into unconsciousness.
Let's rewind and see what happened to lead to this bizarre incident. This teen was named David Marousky Jr. age 15, 5`6 tall. They were simply cleaning their yard when the same vortex as earlier showed up and simply sucked them in. They didn't know why this was happening to them or what was happening either. They simply knew something bad was going to happen to them.
Now we return to the present where a group of Rattatas were simply sniffing and figuring out what the boy was. I mean it's not everyday a random person appears and falls from the sky. The teens' eyes slowly opened as the sun was now out in the sky. They slowly sat up making the rattatas run away into the jungle. Their head and leg hurt as they slowly got to their feet. It seems they didn't change clothes as their leather jacket and black cowboy hat were still with him. They grabbed their hat and put it on before looking around wondering if this was a dream or reality. The simple pinch test did nothing as his surroundings didn't change. He did feel how sore he was though along with the sharp pain he felt in his leg when putting pressure on it. What was the first thing you should do when lost? Yell for help or try to find civilization? He couldn't remember so he started to yell into the jungle “Hello! Anyone around!?” he yelled at the top of his lungs as he started to walk forward. They stumbled as their body still hurt but rest can wait when they're safe. Yea sure they should really be overwhelmed with questions like how they got there or what just happened. But I suppose shock is in play as David just kept walking through the dense jungle while yelling for anyone. By the time they made it out of the jungle it was already night time. Complete exhaustion finally set in as David just collapsed onto the ground and passed out.
Seems they weren't having a very good time with their new forced adventure. But to be fair with no knowledge of where you are and what happened it seems like a fair start. When David finally awoke the first he saw was the white ceiling. Something was applying bandages to his cuts from the fall. He looked to his side and saw a very pink face. Inhuman almost. David snapped to reality as he side rolled off the bed he was on and onto the floor. He groaned as the fall wasn't exactly pleasant “Blis Blissey!” the pink thing yelled as they ran around the bed to check on David. The sound of a door opening could be heard but where? David’s senses were wonky as he tried to stand but stumbled “oh! You're awake!’ an actual person was present as she helped David get up from the ground and sat him on the bed. “Where am I?" he finally asked as he swayed a little “try not to strain yourself. You were found outside the forest. You're on Melemele island. I'm Nurse Joy and this is Blissey” she motioned to Blissey who was bringing over some medical supplies. “Thanks but I need to get home” he still can't believe this is what his new reality is. He pushed Blissey and Nurse Joy away as he stumbled out the door. Nurse Joy was cleaning up the mess of tipped medical supplies so Blissey ran after David. “Blis Blis!” she yelled frantically as she chased David “hm? Blissey? What's wrong?” a man in a lapcoat asked as he set the potions he was looking at down “oh!” he seemed to figure it out after Blissey was frantically pointing at David who was stumbling out the front doors.
The man smirked as he walked over and picked the kid up with no issue and brought him into the back. Of course David wasn't going quietly as he was banging his hands onto the back of the man. They didn't seem to do much though as the man just walked back into the room where David woke up “Professor Kukui! I didn't know you were here. Oh and you got my patient!” she motioned for him to put David in the bed she made up again. David tried fighting reality though so Nurse Joy sighed “Blissey use Calm Mind please” Blissey smiled and started to use Calm Mind which sent David into a calmer state. He felt relaxed, safe almost “now that we are back to a calm environment you wanna tell us your name?” the Nurse asked as she was hoping to get his name “David… David Marousky Jr. ” he said as he stared at the ceiling. The Professor sat down in a chair nearby and leaned forward “alright David. Do you remember how you ended up on the outskirts of the forest?” she asked while grabbing the clipboard on the bed.
She filled out the basic information she knew like name, day in, and height. Unfortunately David didn't have his phone, wallet with identification, or any other type of object that could give information about him. “I um… I was walking home… some purple thing pulled me away and I landed in a jungle. Some freaky rats were sniffing me… and now I'm here I guess…” the nurse wrote everything down as fast as she could before smiling “alright thank you David. I'm going to grab some medicine so please stay here” the nurse walked out of the room with Blissey behind her. That left a dazed David and Professor Kukui “So kid… you have any family we can call? What region are you from?” the man asked, trying to figure something out. “Uuuh im not sure.. Everything is fuzzy. I can't remember much besides what I said.” David admitted as he tried to think further back but nothing. “Well i can take a guess on what happened” Kukui said before looking around and leaning forward to David “they are called Ultra Rifts. They connect the Ultra Space to our world. Though usually an Ultra Beast follows but it seems to spit you out.” the man said in a serious tone.
David snorted as he could hardly believe that logic “right and next cats are gonna breath fire” he said tiredly as he laid further in the bed under him. The Professor smirked as he pulled a strange ball from his pocket and out popped a white and red cat who sat at the end of the bed “mreow?” it looked between the Professor and David with its head tilted. Kukui smiled more as he leaned back in his chair “I present Litten the Fire Cat Pokemon” David reached a hand forward which Litten nuzzled into it and purred. So David petted Litten and pulled them closer “seems Litten likes you hehe. Not many people can bond with pokemon quickly like that. Though maybe I'm wrong.” the professor commented as he watched David relax with Litten.
Eventually the nurse came back with Blissey with a cart full of items. Some potions, bandages, and some sort of food “sorry for taking so long. Oh! I see you already have a friend. Well this shouldn't take long” the nurse said while smiling. She grabbed a bandage and started to wrap his head before putting some on his leg. “Blissey couldn't do much for your leg so we need to let it heal naturally” she exclaimed as she finished bandaging it. “What happened to my leg?” David asked, confused on what the nurse was talking about. “When I was examining you it seemed your leg was broken in a few places. So stay off it for a while and let it rest. We will give you either a wheelchair or crutches for getting around till you're healed” she said putting the bandages back on the cart before grabbing some medicine “here. This should help with any pain or soreness” she handed David a small cup full of some red liquid.
He downed it instantly and it tasted real bitter as he made a face “god that tasted awful.” He handed the cup back as the taste settled in his mouth and throat. The Litten pawed at David’s chest before curling up and purring. The nurse took the cup and smiled. She grabbed a bowl of crackers and set them on the bedside table for David to eat when he feels like it “alright. I'll be around later. Professor Kukui, can I speak with you please?” she asked. Kukui nodded and stood up while following the nurse out of the room. That left David and Litten alone as he laid there with the cat on his chest. It seems he may have a friend in this new world. Someone he might be able to trust. Might.
