There he was. Standing there like a doofus. An unknowing doofus.
Pomni inched closer, on all fours for extra sneakiness.
Jax's ear twitched.
She paused... Then continued, climbing on top of one of the random blocks Caine decorated the circus with. She'd need the height.
She stayed hunched there, waiting for him to turn around.
When he did, she leapt off the block at him, but he foiled her excellent plan of leaping onto him like a cat and wrapping around his chest by catching her and throwing her as far away and high up as possible.
She went flying, and landed on top of one of the random towers Caine put to break up empty space.
Jax looked up at her, pleased with himself. "I really didn't know I could throw you that high. You're pretty light, PomPom."
"What did you throw me for?!" She called down at him.
He folded his arms behind his back. "Could."
And then he sauntered off.
Pomni... was stuck now.
