“Here you go, Auntie Niffty,” Bella said, handing over the most recent baby tooth she had lost. Instead of the Tooth Fairy, Bella had Niffty, who actually would wear a fairy costume.
“Remember our agreement, Niff,” Angel said sternly.
“Right!” Niffty nodded and her crown went askew. “Don't give the tooth to Alastor.”
Angel suspected that Smiles (who, according to Husk was from Louisiana) might be into voodoo. Angel wouldn't have put it past him.
Niffty ran off with her prize. Angel didn't want to know what she did with the baby teeth, as long as she kept her promise.
