"Did you see this one, Eizen?"
Eizen turned towards Rokurou, who was ogling a dagger hanging on the wall. The owner of the weapons shop had agreed to let him in the back to see the full range of wares, impressed by his knowledge. Rokurou immediately grabbed Eizen's wrist and pulled, indicating that he wanted him to come. Eizen rolled his eyes a little, but he followed. It would be much more interesting than waiting outside, and Rokurou knew by now that he liked spending time together.
Now, Rokurou was touching the hilt of the dagger reverently, actually fidgeting a bit with excitement.
"I can obviously see it, yes." Eizen came closer.
"That's real quality right there." Rokurou's gaze snapped towards the dagger next to it. He hurried over to it, right past the bathroom, staring at it intensely. His fidgeting got more pronounced, and he started to shift from toe to toe.
By the time they were halfway around the room, Rokurou subtly crossed one leg over the other, and it dawned on Eizen that he wasn't just excited. He needed to pee, and it was getting more urgent by the second. Eizen could sympathize; he knew what it was like to get sucked into looking at paintings or reading a book on ancient architecture and neglecting his needs or not even realizing he had to go until he was desperate. But he was never this shameless about it, especially not in public. He never waited right up until the second he couldn't-
Rokurou froze, gasping a little, and then he sprinted towards the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.
The walls were thin. Rokurou's exaggerated sigh of relief mingled with the most intense piss Eizen had ever overheard. By the unfortunate sound of it, some of it was definitely missing the toilet. Hearing him sent a twinge through Eizen's bladder, his body reacting and saying, you have to go do that, too. He pushed the urge down. No way was he going in the splash zone that Rokurou had made out of that bathroom.
The faucet came on, and a few seconds later, Rokurou stepped out, looking incredibly relieved and smiling sheepishly. "Sorry. That kinda snuck up on me. I didn't realize how bad I was holding back." He walked right back over to the wall of swords, losing himself again in staring at them.
"Why do I bother taking you anywhere?" Eizen said, and he prayed the same thing wouldn't happen to him while they were here.
