Chapter Text
The city was loud. Too noisy for me, someone who has been so used to the quiet of Hometown. There's so many humans here too.
After Asriel left for college, mom dropped the bomb that we were moving. MOVING! So now, just a few weeks later, I'm in a noisy, crazy, annoying city.
A car whizzes by, almost hitting me. I flip them off as they pass. Unfortunately, they noticed. The car stops. I decide maybe I should go in a store or something.
I run into the nearest building. I pass the check in, very stealthily. Seats line the walls of what looks like some kind of auditorium? Long, silky red curtains hung from ceiling of the stage, like a sort of waterfall.
As I walked, faint music came from a room. A small whiteboard on the door read 'Rehearsal Room: in use.'
I cracked the door open, feeling the cold wood beneath my fingers. Inside, someone was playing piano. His hair was a light brown, with grey streaks along the sides. Square glasses sat on his face. His suit was a deep red, slightly orange and muddy, with yellow tie.
What was he playing? It sounded bright and cheerful, yet I couldn't help but feel saddened. It felt wrong.
Footsteps came from the down the halls. Shit. I had no choice but to swing the door open and get inside.
