Remus never was a social person, ever since he was a chile he hated bieng in crowded rooms and having to talk to people he didnt knew. This of couse only worsen after he got bitten, he used to hid in his room when people came over, he stoped going outside and would throw a fit whenever hope draged him out. He was so sceard that fenrir was still after him and that people could see his scars.
all of this led to him having social anxiety, he would get tense around people he didnt know and would get 'break downs' after and sometimes durring bieng in a event or rooms with a lot of people. this was a problame when he got to hogwarts, having to step up to the hat, and having to eat all of his meals in room with so many people wasnt really good for him.Somehow he became friends with three boys, two of them coming from importent familys, So everytime he would walk with them around school people would stare and whispare, most of the time the people didnt even whispare about him but that didnt matter to his brain Remus would still be hyperventilating in the bathroom after.
as the years went by, Remus fears relacsed but he still strugles with big rooms and a lot of peoplebut now he have Sirius to help him through it.
Sirius was the complite oppesite from remus when it comes to being social. he was always the center of attention when he walked into a room, if its because of his looks, with long black wavy hair, ice blue eyes, plae skin and being about six foot tall pepole tend to look, or if its because of how loud he usualy is, always laughing with James and making jokes. So in one way or another he was always noticeable in the crowd.
but that doesnt stop him from leaving with Remus whenever he need, wether if it is in the middle of a party or just eating when the great hall is too loud and have too many people in it, he will leave with Remus and stay with him untill he calmes down.
They are at a party right now in the hufflepuff common room, students from all the houses are here from years 4 to 7. and Remus is looking for Sirius, he need to get out of there. Sirius told him that he'll be with him the entire night, but one thing led to another and Sirius disapeard. Remus asked anyone he knows if they had seen Sirius and no one did, and Remus cant do it anymore, the music is too loud the small of alcohol is filling the air, and everything is too stiky, and Remus really need to get out.
He somehow got into a bathroom, and he sits on the floor as his breath quickend, he stare at the cilling trying to calm down so he could get out again and fnd Sirius. but he cant calm down, and his vision blurr with tears, the familler feeling of something prussing on his chest comes to him and its getting too hard to breath no matter how hard he try his breaths wont make it to his lunges. He try to consetrate thinking about what Sirius would tell him to do, but his thought keeps turning into mush as he struggle to breath, he really wish Sirius would magicly appear at the door and help him but he doesnt, so Remus just Sit there struggling to breathe more and more as the minutes ticed by.
When Sirius came to the party with Remus he dudnt expect so many people to be there, if he knew he would've stayed with Remus in their dorm, he would've enjoyed that more anyway. but he didnt know and now Sirius is looking for Remus theough the people, he sware to marlin Remus was just with him as he was talking to frank.
Sirius see James acroos from him he is speaking with Marlene and Lily, they must have saw Remus right? Sirius walks torwardes the grop trying to not bump into too many studants as he does
"prongs" Sirius say his voice burly aduable under the loud music thats playing , but James look up "did you saw Remus?" he ask leaning to say it close to James ear so he could hear, James shakes his head "no i thought you two came here together"
"we did" Sirius say "i cant find him"
"what!" James say not hearing Sirius
"i cant find him!"
"you cant find oh Sirius?" Lily ask
"Remus" "he was with me a moment ago and now i cant find him"
Lily face twist "that not good Sirius"
"i know i- did you saw him?"
the redhead shook her head fuck fuck fuck, if lily dont know where he is too Sirius wont be able to find him. then sirius remambers that peter took the marauders map with him
"do you know where pete is?"
James nods "i saw him next to the drinks a like five minutes ago" Sirius nodds and go to find the other animagus.
Peter is drunk as hell, with a fire whisky in his hand
"wormtail!" sirius grab the boy shoulder "do you have the map?"
"god padfoot you fucking scared me"
"sorry do you have it?" Sirius ask again he is getting more worride by the second
"do i have what?"
"the map" peter noddes
"yeah yeah here" peter gets the map and hand it to sirius but before Sirius can take it peter snach it
"peter what are you-?"
"before i give it to you do you think i have a chance with-" Sirius cant hear the name but nood anyway
"sure you do pete can i have the map" peter hand him the map again and sirius quickly takes it "thanks pete"
Remus is still struggling to breathe he somehow layed down on the floor and he keep looking at the cilling his tears still going down his cheeks as he get little air to his lunges. He doesnt know how long he's been there but it feels like an enternaty, Remus close his eyes, the music from the party turns into buzzing in his ears as he starts to curl into him self, he just need some quite so he could at least think a little clearer.
Someone opens the door and close it footsteps are walking torwardes him and he flinch, the person is sitting down next to him on the floor "lune Chérie, its me" the voice cut through the buzzing in his ears and he lookes up to see Sirius "S-sirius?"
"yes mon Amour its me im so sorry i couldnt find you" Sirius notice how fast and shallow Remus breath was "lune ar you okay?"
Remus shakes his head "c-cant breath i-i ca-" new round of tears start to spill from the shourter boy eyes
"oh moony my love" sirius move beside him "can you sit up Chéri?"
Remus try to sit up but he just fall back down to exhasted to move, Sirius move Remus head to his lap "open your eyes for me love" Remus does his red eyes finding Sirius ones
"good love" sirius takes Remsus coled Hand and put it on his chest "copy my breathing okay lune?" Remus doesnt answer but Sirius see his struggle to match his breathe to sirius' "moony breathe in" 1 2 3 4 "hold it"1 2 3 4 "and out" 12 3 4, Sirius repets thid until Remus is breathing normaly again and no longer crying.
"okay ma lune?" sirius guide Remus to sit on his lap, putting his head in Sirius neck "yeah" Remus whispare
"m'so sorry ma belle i shouldnt've let you go from my side" Sirius feel Remus shake his head then mumble something "what's that amour?"
"its' not your falt you just went to talk to someone and i lost you" Remus accent is thick his words slurring a little, like his mind is thinking something is welsh and his mouth wants to mach his minde but end up speaking in english, "c-can we go back to the dorm Seren?" Sirius smile at the nickname, Remus accent hasnt been that thick for years
"of course lune"
