Chapter Text
Cyber City.
A flat inside the tallest skyscraper, in a room filled with the smell of coffee. Pluto, sitting on his office chair, staring at the screen display while having notes and files all across the desk.
He had been planning to be able to achieve success in technology, and he had been developing the path for 112 years. Now, it's the time for him to test it all out.
His finger clicked on the keyboard, entering the last code.
Seconds passed, each of them felt like hours to Pluto. He can't accept himself failing at this critical moment, nor doubting himself if a god of technology would actually exist and help him on developing Cyber City.
…
[we hear your call.]
The theories are proven correct. It is real. Pluto’s eyes widened in realisation, then immediately typed in a reply.
Pluto: [May you guide us to the path of technology? Our team would be thankful for your help on achieving a better development on Cyber City.]
…
[███WILLDESCEND]
“...What?”
Pluto murmured to himself. Although Pluto could easily tell that is obviously not the same typing style, it is still confusing for him. 5 seconds before he saw a cold reply which is half expected since he attempted to connect with a god, and after, it is more like a pop up text from a computer virus.
Pluto:[Pardon? Would you mind repeating the character or object mentioned in your reply? We are not able to record it down due to it being censored for unknown reasons.]
And of course, the blocked text. Every message here is from a god, and every of them should be noted down as precious records. Pluto couldn't let a bug on his own device ruin everything, especially when it comes to a research his team and himself had been working on for over a century even though he had already succeeded on immortality from the development of New Matrix.
…
[███ always knew you would find this.]
[the question is whether you enjoy it.]
That's an oddly fast reply, it seems like the text appeared right after Pluto had sent his message out as if it doesn't even need time to be typed out. The important thing is, they seem to completely ignore the question he asked, or maybe they answered by typing it again, just Pluto’s device somehow being a burden when it is already the most advanced computer in the Cyber City which is developed by his team.
