All of these ideas are going off the idea that the characters are reacting to themselves in different universes, taking the places of the characters of what they're reacting to.
Big D- Qrow: I feel like their the perfect counterparts to each other, they both have big fucking swords, both wear the mask of silliness to hide how dangerous they really are. And both are (probably) magical in some way or form.
Markus- Ruby: both are red…….in all seriousness, both of them are born with the equivalent of their universes cheat code, Ruby with silver eyes, and Marcus being heavily implied to be a Magai,l they both have heavy eye symbolism,and both are naturally stubborn and curious of the world to an almost dangerous extent.
Door-Yang: both are the respective older sibling, both have annoying senses of humor, both are associated with the color yellow, and both are the more responsible of their sibling dynamic, also i feel like Yang would bitch about the british government.
Kitten-Weiss: both are incredibly intelligent at least academically, but are not above learning or admitting their wrong, both are extremely aggressive when aggravated, and both have a seemingly strained relationship with their biological family.
Boy-Ozcar: they are both the youngest of the protagonists, with incredible potential, and a possibly fatal destiny.
