“Sprout!” Cosmo shouted while waving his hand in front of me.
“nnngh…”
“SPROUT!!” I felt a sharp pain on the side of my face.
“Did you just smack me?” I asked Cosmo
“Dude you're sticking your fingers in the mix!” Cosmo palmed his forehead.
“What..? Oh!-” I quickly pulled my hand out of the bowl and shoved it in my mouth while smiling awkwardly.
“You need to stop dozing off into space, man.” He took a rag and started cleaning up the mess I made.
“I know I know I'm sorry it's just…”
“What..?”
“There's this one toon I-”
“Ooooh who is it?” Cosmo leaned in closer.
“I ain't tellin’ you!” While walking out I gave him a nudge on his head.
“Uh we still need to finish the cupcakes!”
“I know I was just tryna make a cool exit!”
After the cupcakes were done I decided to go talk to Astro about my feelings. I knew he would understand because… well he's just like that.
I gave two light knocks on his door. I stood there for a minute or two before I heard the door creak open.
“oh it's you sprout! need anything?” He smiled softly at me.
“I just wanted to talk and I figured you would listen.” I said fixating my eyes on an uneven floorboard.”
“sure come on in!” Astro opened the door and gestured for me to come in.
