Rui: "I want to save people."
Rui: "Anybody."
Rui: "Through music, through my inventions..."
Rui: "If I can save someone, I've made up for what happened that day."
Rui: "That's my only purpose in life."

Middle school Rui: "Sora? Are you in here?"
Middle school Rui: "Sora?"
Middle school Rui: "..."
Middle school Rui: "I was too late..."
Middle school Rui: "This is my fault..."
Middle school Rui: "Sora..."
Middle school Rui: "Please be alive..."
Middle school Rui: "..."
Middle school Rui: "No..."
Middle school Rui: "It can't be..."
Middle school Rui: "He's dead..."
Present day
Rui, walking out of a building: "I managed to get the internship at the science lab!"
Rui: "I hope they can teach me a lot."
Rui: "I'm going to make a new robot for this!"
A few hours later
Rui's room
Rui: "I've been working on this for quite some time."
Rui: "I wonder how long."
Rui, looking at his phone: "Five hours. Wow."
Rui: "I should probably take a break."
Rui, opening up YouTube, immediately seeing a video about the health benefits of vegetables: "Ew. Yuck. What is this vegetable slop."
Rui, closing YouTube in disgust: "This is a crime."
Rui: "This is most unfortunate!"
Rui: "This is a sign I should continue to work on this robot!"
*Rui goes back to working on the robot*
Rui: "Just a little longer..."
*He falls asleep*
Dream
Middle school Rui: "Sora! Do you like the drone I built?"
Sora: "Hmmm...it looks amazing, Rui!"
Middle school Rui: "I'm glad! I spent a lot of time on it, you know."
Middle school Rui: "It even has a built in laser!"
Sora: "That's...wonderful, I guess."
Middle school Rui: "Ehehe."
Sora: "Shame you have such good talent."
Middle school Rui: "What?"
Sora: "You couldn't use that talent to save me."
Sora: "You're a failure, aren't you?"
Sora: "You couldn't save me. And you never will."
Present day
Real world
Rui, waking up: "Oh...thank goodness...just a dream."
Rui: "...My heart is beating so fast..."
Rui: "I wonder how long I was asleep for."
Rui, reaching for his phone: "What's this?"
Rui: "What is this?"
???
Rui: "...Did I die?"
Rui: "This place is huge."
Rui: "It looks like a garden."
Rui: "So a heaven does exist after all..."
Rui: "No, that wouldn't make sense. This is likely another dream."
Rui: "I hope Sora is here, if I am in heaven."
Rui: "It's so empty though."
Rui, seeing two people sitting in the grass: "Excuse me? Where am I?"
Rui: "You two look familar."
???: "I am Miku, and this is Kafu."
Kafu: "You must be Rui. Welcome to your SEKAI."
Rui: "SEKAI?"
Miku: "The Garden SEKAI. A place created from your feelings."
Miku: "Other people can enter here, too. They'll be important for you."
Rui: "Who might those be?"
Kafu: "You'll see."
Rui: "Hmmm. So I can always come back here?"
Miku: "Yes. All you need to do is play Untitled."
Miku: "You'll see it on your phone later when you come back."
Rui: "I see."
Miku: "Rui."
Rui: "Yeah?"
Miku: "You can do it. What you want to achieve."
Miku: "Please don't give up."
Rui: "...I won't."
Kafu: "Our time is up."
Rui's room
Rui: "Two dreams in a row..."
Rui, sighing: "It's already morning."
Rui: "Oh, yeah. I have to go to the lab soon."
Rui: "I should get ready."
