This is part 1 of my headcanons/fanfic pertaining to SkekGra, SkekLi and GraLi. I don't have these separated by character. They're kinda done chronologically, though. I will have my UrGoh, UrLii and GohLii headcanons/fanfic in a separate post since I actually have a lot of headcanons for all these characters and I knew it would be too long otherwise. Also,some of these are written a bit more like fanfic instead of normal headcanon writing. The Arathim Wars/Alliance won't be in here since I forgot about it and can't figure out where to fit it without messing up the other stuff. Warning:mentions of war, PTSD and bodily mutilation. Now, onto the headcanons/fanfic: SkekGra and SkekLi are both very creative Skeksis and tend to feed off each other, with SkekLi helping give ideas for and actually assisting in SkekGra's puppet shows and SkekGra helping SkekLi with her comedy routines. The first person to hear SkekLi's jokes was SkekGra. Likewise, any poems, travel tales and play ideas that SkekGra came up with were told first to SkekLi. Since SkekGra is good at drawing and painting, he has illustrated some of SkekLi's satirical jokes into book form. He also has books of poetry that he's put into book form along with stories of his travels, complete with illustrations, ofc. These are SkekLi's fave books in the whole library, much to SkekOk's annoyance. She especially likes the book that has a painting of a mystic in it. He told her about his secret meetings with UrGoh during his travels. He told her it was eye-opening to learn that the SkekSis and Mystics are two halves of one whole. This made SkekLi wonder what her own mystic half was like. Since she was the court jester, though, she didn't feel like she could just leave the castle with SkekGra, even though she missed him on his travels, but she was very curious about the Mystics. SkekLi hated being seen as only the jester and was often bullied for her low rank, which obviously put her under a lot of stress. SkekGra always knew what to say to cheer her up. He sometimes used his puppets to cheer her up:) SkekLi has a strong bond with her brothers SkekOk and SkekTek. Despite not approving of her friendship with SkekGra, SkekOk cared for SkekLi. He loved her jokes to the point of writing them all down, word for word, without any changes. He also never wrote any lies about her either, in fact he praises her in his writings. He only put up with SkekGra's nonsense for his sister's sake. As for SkekTek, SkekLi visits him in his lab just to keep him company and tell him jokes to make him laugh. SkekTek, unlike SkekOk genuinely liked SkekGra since his puppet shows were a welcome escape from his stress and since he was stuck in his lab most of the time, he also enjoyed hearing SkekGra's travel tales. SkekGra, had a decent but strained relationship with his brother, SkekZok. SkekZok admired his brother's painting and craft skills, but he didn't really approve of his brother's traveling all over Thra. He believed that his brother's place was in the castle. As far as his brother's friendship with SkekLi was concerned, SkekZok didn't approve of it since he thought SkekGra should be friends with only high-ranking skeksis. As for SkekGra, he didn't approve of the rituals his brother performed since most of them were overtly cruel. Since costumes and music are needed to make a good show, both SkekGra and SkekLi became good friends with SkekEkt and SkekSil. SkekLi was also friends with SkekLach and SkekShod. She loved SkekLach's dark sense of humor and she shared a bond with SkekShod since she knew what it was like to be bullied so much.
