Work Text:
The loudest screams I hold will never leave my skull, I fracture deep within, while outwardly I’m dull.
I’m screaming out for help, but no one ever hears,
My mind turns on itself and amplifies my fears.
Each nerve and thought alike ignites a searing burn,
A body torn in two, with nowhere left to turn.
The echoes stay inside, where no one else can hear,
My prison’s made of sound that feeds on silent fear.
