Not a Beach Date

Summary:

Ruskin and his employer spend some time in the hidden bay near Brighton.

Work Text:

The sun was shining brightly in the hidden bay near to the town of Brighton, but the sea breeze slightly numbed the hotness by restlessly blowing over the ocean, bringing the fresh, salty air to anyone's nostrils who was here. As only a few knew about this secret beach, now merely two men were there, resting in the sand and watching the deep blue waves. The media mogul Charles Augustus Milverton and his secretary, Ruskin. It was Ruskin's idea to spend some time outside in this perfect weather. His employer was first against it, but he ended up giving in and he didn't regret it. He was ready to enjoy the warmth of the sun - due to having problems with his blood circulation, his body was always colder than what was supposed to be the normal body heat, so he was naturally drawn to warmth - but Ruskin stopped him before he gave himself over to the rest.

"You know that you have a sensitive skin, Mr. Milverton." He noted in a serious voice and started to search for something in his bag. "First, you need to put up some sunscreen." He said when he finally found the bottle in question. "You can't get a sunburn."

"Ruskin, you worry too much." Mr. Milverton let out a chuckle and gestured up to the sky. "The sun is not strong enough yet. We will go inside before it becomes too much."

But Ruskin was not convinced. He loved his employer with all his heart and the last thing he wanted was losing him to skin cancer.

"No, sir." He shook his head. "You need sunscreen. Allow me to put it up on you."

"If you insist." Mr. Milverton gave in and let Ruskin pour the cream onto his back and start massaging it into his skin.

Ruskin's heart began to beat faster as his hands were pampering his beloved employer's body. Mr. Milverton soon closed his eyes, there was a smile on his face which showed that no matter how much he opposed it at first, he actually ended up enjoying what Ruskin was doing. Ruskin gently caressed Mr. Milverton's back while he slowly covered him with sunscreen. It was very important that his employer's pale skin would not get harmed by the sun. Ruskin always trembled whenever he touched it. It was soft and pure - and now, he was allowed to keep his hands on it for a much, much longer time. His fingers tenderly rubbed Mr. Milverton's back muscles and nape. Ruskin ran his thumb over his employer's spine, his vertebrae gave him a massage as well. Then, as he was done with his back, his hands wandered over Mr. Milverton's arms and legs. His employer didn't have a muscular body, he was more of slim and fragile, but Ruskin loved him like that. He sometimes imagined himself to be the knight of the beloved man - but even more, than they were really a couple, not just boss and employee, and the break time they spent together, for example here, were actually dates. While his hands pampered Mr. Milverton, he gave himself over to a daydream of what if they would be on a beach date.

Just like now, he would be the one who covers Mr. Milverton's beautiful body with sunscreen, but he wouldn't do it in silence. He would start to praise the love of his life, telling him how perfect, handsome and powerful he is. And Mr. Milverton would flash a soft smile at him and let Ruskin cover not just his body, but his lips with his own mouth. They would get lost in the kiss in the warm sand, they would stay until sunset and watch it hand in hand. Mr. Milverton would lay his head down on his lap and rest. Ruskin would not be able to stop watching him... and he would feel happy and content.

Ruskin let out a sigh, cutting his mind away from the beautiful pictures. He looked down at Mr. Milverton's body under him and saw that his employer ended up falling asleep while Ruskin covered him with sunscreen. A smile appeared at the corner of Ruskin's mouth. He swept the hair off Mr. Milverton's face to not stick into the sunscreen and one thing crossed his thoughts.

Maybe it was not a beach date... but he indeed felt happy and content.
