Nerva is sitting down at their computer watching a YouTube video about invader zim. All seems to be going well until suddenly Nerva hears a buzzing noise coming from their headphones. Nerva headphones then stop producing sound. Nerva then said
“Not again!” They took their headphones off and went to turn them off. Nerva then turned the headphones back on and connected them to their computer, but when they hit play on the video, no sound came out of the headphones. Nerva let out a long sigh and took the headphones off. They then said
“Great, I need new ones now”, and Nerva went and got up. They walked over to where their denim jacket was and put it on. Inside their denim jacket was their wallet with their debit card. Nerva then used their wand and opened a portal to the living room .
“I’m going out to get some headphones”, Nerva said to Dawn, who turned their head around and said
“Alright, don’t take too long” Nerva then opened up another portal, but before they could leave, they heard Phoebe speak up.
“Hey! Can I come to the store with you? I want to help you find your headphones”
Nerva rolled their eyes and said
“Alright, just follow me, and you can come”
Phoebe said, “Yay!” The duo then entered the portal and headed into the shop.
The store was an electronics store, and they sold all kinds of things, from home appliances to games and personal computers, like laptops or desktop PCs. They even sold gaming chairs. Nerva began to walk forward while Phoebe looked around in awe. Phoebe then said
“wow! Hmmm the headphones should be nearby lets go nerva!” and she walked in the opposite direction not paying attention to if Nerva was following her or not. Phoebe looked around the store entering many aisle from cameras to microphones even the places where you can try out mobile phones.
Phobe stopped by the video games section, which was a colour-coded part of the store, having games for the Xbox One, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, all lined up against one another. Phoebe was looking at the switch games when one caught her eye. She picked up a physical copy of a hat in time and was reading the back of it.
“Nerva! Can we get this game as well?” she said and turned around to see that Nerva was not behind her. Phoebe then said
“Nerva?”
Yet she got no response, Phoebe then put the game back on the shelf and walked forward, heading towards the PS5 section of the aisle, when she bumped into someone.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you!”
“it’s fine!” a girl with black hair done in a bun had said. The girl was the same age as Phoebe The girl then said “you didn’t make me drop my game so its cool. My names Yasmin by the way!
Phoebe then said “my names phoebe! And again sorry for bumping into you I’m a little lost”
Yasmin then said, “Lost, you say? Well, where are you heading?”
Phoebe said, “im trying to get to the headphones section”
Yasmin nodded her head, “I know where that is!”
Yasmin with her PS5 game in hand, walked off, and Phoebe followed behind her
Nerva was standing in front of the headphone aisle. There were many headphones for different kinds of races, elves being one of them. Nerva needed a headphone designed for their elven ears since they were an elf. Nerva walked to the elves' section and sighed. There were many kinds of headphones, from Bluetooth ones to wired ones to ones meant for gaming and ones that were not.
“Urgh, I just need some Bluetooth headphones”, Nerva muttered to themselves, and they looked for a bit but then smirked when they found a pair of purple headphones that they liked the look of.
Nerva grabbed the box containing the headphones, then they opened a portal and walked into it.
Phoebe and Yasmin soon made it to the headphone aisle Phoebe looked all over the aisle for Nerva and she couldn’t find them at all she searched and she searched but Nerva was no where to be found.
Phoebe then said, “No, Nerva isn’t here at all!” She then snapped her fingers as an idea came to mind “, I know! We just need to wait here for them to show up”
Yasmin then responded with “or we could just wait at the till”
Phoebe soon said, “Ah, right, we should let's go!”
The duo headed towards the till, and Phoebe gasped as she spotted Nerva in line,
Phoebe floated over to Nerva and said, “Nerva! I found you”
Nerva turned around and said, “You found me? I thought you were right here just being unusually quiet for some reason”
Phoebe then said, “What, you didn’t notice I was gone!”
Nerva responded with “I would have noticed eventually” Nerva then paused for a second and added
“Sorry for not checking, I was focused on the headphones”
Phoebe then added, “I forgive you, Nerva.”
Phoebe stood behind Nerva while Nerva went to pay for the headphones at the till afterwards Nerva opens up a portal but before they go in Nerva hears Phoebe say
“Wait a sec, Nerva, I got to thank Yasmin .” Phoebe then floated over to Yasmin and said
“Thank you for helping me out today!”
Yasmin shrugged her shoulders “no need to thank me its no issue really”
Phoebe nodded her head and said, “But I should still do so, you helped a lot!”
Phoebe then turned around and waved goodbye to Yasmin . Phoebe then entered the portal behind Nerva, and they both walked into the living room of Hollow Stalls. The portal closed behind them.
Phoebe turned to face Nerva and said, “So are your headphones going to work?”
Nerva shrugged their shoulders, “Well, they should work their brand new after all”
Phoebe then added, “Right! Well, if they don’t, you can always return them, right?”
Nerva sighed as they said, “Unfortunately, that store has a no returns or refunds policy”
Phoebe gasps and says, “That's awful! I hope they work”
Nerva then shrugs their shoulders and says, “Let's hope they do”
Nerva walks into their room and heads to the computer. They turn the headphones on since they came charged and connected them to their computer. Nerva then sat down, put the headphones on their head, and continued watching the video.
