It was a normal day or as normal as it got since their sibling Lily ran away but it was time to stop being sad. They had school in 5 days so they had to get ready. They woke up the next morning and heard a cat they do not have a cat, they went to go see what it was to their surprise. It was their sibling Lily was home Mat immediately said “where were you!” without a second thought, Lily said “I went on a walk and then animal control thought I was a real cat so I had to hide” Mat said “are you hurt” Lily said “No more then a couple scraps and bruises” .
It was time to go to school after they ate, it didn’t take long to get to school there was a new classmate her name was Kitty. Kitty was kind. After school Mat had butterflies and they didn’t know why, they knew they liked Kitty as a friend but hadn’t had thoughts of dating since they broke up with their Ex Lulu, so of course it was a little weird but then they had an idea prom was in a couple weeks. The next day in class it was extremely loud and Mat realized something, Kitty had blue lines on her neck so of course Mat asked “what are those lines?” Kitty was in fact not expecting that question and pulled her hood back over her head ,later that day Mat was eating their pizza when Kitty said “The lines are water marks ,I’m a water elemental” Mat nearly choked on their food Mat quietly said “cats can’t like water” Kitty asked “whats that?’’ .
