Chapter Text
“What is it, Kafka? I’m busy.”
“It’s not a mission. Just something fun.”
“Is it in the script?”
“…No.”
“Then nope.”
“Silver Wolf…”
“Five more minutes, and then I’ll go.”
“Fine.”
Silver Wolf sighed. “Important things go first. Such as finishing this game.”
As fast as thought, the five minutes were up, and the dreaded call from Kafka came up on screen.
Silver Wolf groaned, but pressed the answer button.
“Oh Silver Wolf…”
“I know, Kafka. I’m coming…but can I put on my “comfy weekend clothes” skin?”
‘Sorry sweetie, but no. It’s pretty formal.”
“What? But you said it was fun…”
“And it will be. Trust me.”
“Whatever. See ya soon.” She hung up.
She hoped that it didn’t take too long though, since she and Firefly had plans tonight…
She pressed the power off on the keyboard, but then she realized she forgot to close the game file.
She immediately reached for the keyboard again and mashed the closest key to her-anything to prevent the computer from closing.
Wait…what was that key?
Did she actually press the “Warp Reality for Fun” key?
She was in big trouble.
Suddenly, reality warped around Silver Wolf, everything turning into pixels as they grew increasingly bright.
She couldn’t have pressed any other key? Why did she even put it there? But then she remembered her “Explode this Spaceship” key and her “Jumpscare Everyone with a picture of a Banana” key and was glad she didn’t press those instead.
If she did, Blade would probably force her to eat his cooking for a month. Absolute torture.
Presently, the “screen” around her turned too bright for her to see, so she closed her eyes and let the digital world take her wherever it wanted.
