The moonlight lightly reflected in the water, leaving a glowy trail wherever its fingers touched the sea. The sky was dark, save for a few luminous bulbs hidden in the clouds.
The sandy expanse was quiet, except for some giggling near the rocks. Blue and pink and purple blended together with the pale yellow of the sand, not far from the water, but far from the world.
They were on their little bubble, cuddling, kissing, clutching each other. A hand on a waist, a kiss on the cheek, getting even closer, lips meeting. Their smiles were sweet and delicate and oh so in love. Mualani rested her head on her girlfriend shoulder, playing with her salmon hair. The surfer's fingers brushed through the delicate stands, until the blue ends that reminded her of the sea. Then, the other girl spoke. A quiet whisper. So sincere.
- I love you so much.
Mualani could cry hearing Kokomi say that. Everytime. It was so precious, admitting her feelings so openly.
- I love you too, Komi..
.. and gosh she's so beautiful when she says that.
One look was enough. They erupted into sweet laughs, understanding how they both thought the same thing. Together. Always.
