Late night at Nevermore was always quiet. Yoko spent the nights with her girlfriend watching movies and doing homework. with it being a weekend, they were cuddled together watching a movie when Yoko had that feeling wash over her.
"Hey babe, I'm going to go grab a bag real quick from downstairs, you want a snack or something?" Yoko asked Divina as she got out of bed while Divina paused the movie.
"nah, i'm good. thanks anyways babe" DIvina said with a nice big smile
With that, Yoko made her way to one of the dorm vending machines that had blood bags but as she got close, she noticed a sign on the front that said "due to a blood bag shortage, we're only offering these at the Tell Tale Cafe and the school cafeteria"
"Oh you gotta be fuckin' kidding me right now!" Yoko thought to herself as she powerwalked away thinking how she was going to satisfy her thirst without a blood bag knowing if she doesn't her instincts take over and she can get very unpredictable.
as she walks back to her dorm, she starts to feel her instincts start to kick in.
as she walks back in her room, Divina notices Yoko doesn't have a blood bag. she looks at Yoko with her brows furrowed. Yoko looks like she's trying not to turn feral
"you ok babe?" DIvina asks with a concerned look on her face
"DO I LOOK OK? I'M FREAKING OUT!" Yoko snaps at her girlfriend but immediately realizes what she did and she goes over to apologize but Divina puts her hand up
"It's ok babe, no need to apologize, I understand"
"Div, I need nourishment, you know what hap-" Yoko starts to talk in a frantic tone but Divina cuts her off respectfully
"yeah I know, your instincts take over and you become unpredictable and you can't control yourself."
Right then, Yoko gets an idea "I hate to do this to you but could you help me Div? please?" Yoko sits on the bed next to her girlfriend, looking her in the eyes
"I'd love to offer myself, but I just got over a bad stomach bug and I haven't eaten."
"yeah, I don't you to pass out. this place can be such a pain sometimes I swear" Yoko mumbles to herself while thinking of an alternate option.
Just then, another idea comes to her mind "You think Enid or Wednesday would help me?" Yoko says as she starts to get up and go to the door
"You think they'd willingly offer themselves up to you?" Divina asks sounding unsure
"I know Wednesday has always been fascinated with how Vampires feed and stuff" Yoko sounds convinced the Ravens would be a willing participant
"you can at least ask them, you never know Yokes" Divina says as she holds her girlfriends hand
"I'll give it a try. who knows how it'll go"
"It's only 9:30 PM, I know Enid's awake and Wednesday's probably writing her crazy novel
"I'll give it a shot. be back soon" Yoko said as she blew a kiss to her girlfriend from the doorway and proceeded to walk out the door and to Enid's room
she walks to their door and hesitates before knocking, thinking about what she is about to ask from these 2 girls especially since 1 is her best friend and the other is someone who she rarely speaks too.
She takes a deep breath before knocking twice and then she steps back.
a few seconds later, she hears footsteps and the door creaks open and she sees Enid standing there, in bright pink pajama pants and a white t shirt
"Oh hi Yoko, what's up?" Enid says with a big smile and an excited expression seeing her best friend at her dorm doorstep
The iconic click clack of a typewriter is heard in the background and that tells Yoko what she expected. Wednesday is indeed writing
"Can I come in? Yoko politely asks looking disheveled which Enid immediately notices
As she walks in, Yoko sees Wednesday in her corner hard at work on her novel
"So, what brings you into our lovely room this evening?" Enid says in a hushed tone to respect Wednesday's writing hour rules
"I've got a bit of a problem" Yoko says as she starts acting nervous
Enid starts to look concerned "Are you oK? you look like you're about to freak out?"
Yoko starts to fidget with her hands as she tries to explain her situation "well, I went for a drink just a little bit ago and the damn machine is out, and the cafe is closed for the night so-"
"So you need nourishment!" Enid says as she starts to understand her friends situation. "Divina didn't offer?" she then asks and Yoko nods "well, yeah but she had a bad stomach bug and she's hadn't eaten or drank anything in a while"
Enid nods in understanding. "and you're here becaus-" she says before Yoko finishes her sentence
"I wanted to see if you two would be willing to help a friend out" Yoko says as she looks at the 2 girls "If not, that's perfectly fine" She looks between the 2 girls preparing for both to say no
Just then she notices Wednesday stops typing and she peeks over her shoulder "You said you needed a willing volunteer to feed you?" She says in her monotone voice making Yoko look over to her
"uhh, yeah. I guess you can say that" Yoko says with a subtle chuckle afterwards "again, if not..I won't be mad"
"As Enid pondered the offer, Wednesday spoke up. "i'll help you out" this made Yoko and Enid both turn to her in shock
"OMG Are you sure?" Yoko said wide eyed.
"yeah, i've always wanted to know what it felt like to be bitten by a vampire"
"aww Wednesday, you're literally a lifesaver" Yoko said with a loud giggle as she walked over to Wednesday
"want me to do it right here or do you want to sit on your bed?" Yoko asks the raven as she walks over
"i'd prefer the bed" Wednesday said as she gets up
"But what about your writing hour?" Enid asked as she stands up to get a better view of what is going on
"i'll put it on hold and finish up when I'm done here." Wednesday explains as she goes to sit on her bed, patting the side to where she wants Yoko to sit
"Aww, Wednesday is pausing her writing to help her friend out. how nice" Enid says drawing a smile from Yoko and a glare from Wednesday
"so, wrist or neck?..oh wait..I think I know the answer" Yoko says and then Wednesday immediately motions to her neck
"Yeah, I thought so, we don't want you getting a vision while i'm feeding..that could really hurt you"
"Now before we begin, will this hurt?" Wednesday asks and Yoko shakes her head "i'll be sure to numb the area beforehand. all you'll feel is a slight pinch and then nothing
"Is there like a safe word or something if Wednesday starts feeling lightheaded or something?" Enid asks while standing just off to the side
"If you start feeling lightheaded, 3 taps on my knee and i'll pull out. ok?" Yoko asks and Wednesday nods
"Ok, Addams, you ready?" Yoko asks as she leans in and begins kissing the area of Wednesdays neck
Wednesday jolts at the feeling but then relaxes as Enid looks on with hands over her mouth
"Ok Wednesday, like I said, you'll feel a slight pinch but then nothing..and remember..3 taps on my knee. OK?" Yoko asks and Wednesday nods again
"ok, countdown in your head backwards from 3" Yoko tells Wednesday as she slowly moves her head to expose the area of the neck
"Yoko slowly and gently opens her mouth and moves her fangs over the area and inserts them into Wednesdays neck causing her to wince at 1st but then she relaxes and even lets out a little moan as the feeding begins
soon, a stream of blood starts coming down into Yoko's mouth causing Enid to look away
"I'm glad I didn't do it, I would've passed out" Enid chimed in from her bed causing Wednesday to glare at her awkwardly"
after a little while, Wednesday began feeling slightly light headed so she tapped 3 times on Yokos knee and like she said, she immediately pulled her fangs out
She then began to lick up any excess blood and, in the process, closing the puncture areas.
"Alright, all done. I really appreciate it Wednesday. and I never knew Addams blood tasted so good. oh by the way, how did it feel getting bitten by a vampire?" Yoko asks with a laugh
"It felt, weird. but like you said, there was no pain at all!" Wednesday tells the vampire as she walks to her desk
"I hope you don't think this will be an everyday thing Tanaka" Wednesday says to the vampire as she puts her stuff away for the night
"well hopefully, I won't have to worry about this again" Yoko says as she gets up off the bed and begins heading to the door
"I sure hope so" Enid nervously says as she hugs Yoko
As she goes to leave, Wednesday calls her over, catching Yoko slightly off guard
"just know, between you and I, if you need anything, i'm here Tanaka."
"Ok Addams, I hear ya. Yoko says with a playful smile "thanks again, I really owe ya" Yoko says but as she goes to leave, Wednesday grabs her wrist
Yoko looks at her but before she can process what is happening, Wednesday wraps her arms around the vampire, shocking not only Yoko but also Enid
Yoko motions to Enid and mouths "You seein' this right now?"
"Damn Addams, I didn't think of you as a hugger." she says looking at the raven who looks at her
"try anything funny and you'll wake up without fangs. got it!" Wednesday snaps at Yoko as she breaks off the hug
"there's the Wednesday that I know. and don't worry. I'll always ask before I do anything. i'm not like some fangs around here" Yoko rolls her eyes thinking of the vampires that don't get permission before they feed.
"Like I said, hopefully I won't need to resort to doing this again. I hope they refill the blood bags" Yoko says with a hopeful tone
"Well, I better get back to Divina before she sends A B.O.L.O out for me" Yoko jokes as she goes to the door waiving bye to Enid and Wednesday
She calmly walks back to her dorm, and when she walks back in, she sees Divina sitting on the bed waiting for Yoko
"Finally back huh? did they do it?" Divina asked as she grabbed Yokos hands eager to hear about what happened
"funny enough, Wednesday actually volunteered. and it went without a hitch" Yoko tells Divina which leaves the siren shocked
"You drank Addams blood?" Divina asks to confirm which Yoko nods
"She also told me that if I tried anything funny, i'd wake up without fangs" Yoko says feeling a little scared but Divina huffs and chuckles a little at the Addams threat
"Yeah, that sounds like Wednesday" Divina again laughs a little and Yoko nods after thinking about what Divina just said
"Again, I'm sorry I couldn't offer. I feel really bad" Divina frowns at Yoko
"Don't be like that babe, I wouldn't do that to you either. Wednesday trusted me and I took care of her. besides, if I hurt her, she'd probably kill me in my sleep..that or Enid would definitely do it." Yoko laughs at that thought
"I just hope they refill those damn blood bags because if they don't, I might be screwed" Yoko now gets a little worried at the possibility of there still being no blood bags in the machine tomorrow"
the pair then relax and put on the movie that they were going to watch before and rest for the night.
