[Enter Scene 1: Marinettes room. An instrumental of a pop song plays in the background while Marinette sits awkwardly but somehow also comfortably on her chair.
Tikki is looking at Marinette, impatiently.]
Marinette: *humming song*
Tikki, annoyed: *under breath* istg
*loudly* MARINETTE!!
Marinette, confused: ha?
Tikki: You said we're going early!
I was planning to hang out with Trixx and Mullo!
Marinette: Well I'm sorry tikki, Alya hasn't texted me yet.
Come to think of it Mylene hasn't either…
Wait a minute when does the parent meeting start again??
[Marinette goes through a pretty pink and black polkadotted folder, flipping through pages frantically as tikki looks at her annoyed in the bg]
Marinette: here!
Hmm.. “5:00 to 7:00”
….Tikki its 3:30
Tikki: YOU SAID WE WERE GOING EARLY THOUGH
Marinette: WELL NOT THAT EARLY JESUS
[Marinettes mom, Sabine, yells downstairs]
Sabine, downstairs, loudly: HONEY, WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO?
Marinette: oh shit uh ALYA MOM SHE WANTS TO GO EARLY
Sabine: AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME THAT?
Marinette: WELL NEITHER DID SHE *glares at Tikki* HOLD ON
[Marinette redirects her attention to tikki]
Marinette: tikki cmon I dont like lying to my parents, especially my mom, mi madre, my female parental figure- come on!
Just like 10 more minutes so I can contact Alya and Mylene
Tikki: *small tiny hmph*

(A few minutes go by)
Tikki: ..sorry marinette, im just really excited.
Marinette: its ok Tikki.
Im excited too, it feels so long since the last time I've seen ms. Bustier and just everyone together in general.
[Marinette directs her gaze to her pretty little hat project] but first!-
Tikki: marinette, wouldnt it be smarter to talk to mylene and alya first?
Not To be rude, but you do get… distracted easily
Marinette: its ok tikki. Not only have I taken my meds today but I've also gotten better at remembering.
I just neeeeeeeed to finish hemming of the hat ok???
Tikki: fiiine.
[Tikki flys and lays down on a small embroidered pillow on marinettes small couch, curling up like a dog]
[Scene fade out]
[Scene 2 fade in, 2nd floor hallways of Francis-Dupont Secondary School. Black boots are stomping up the stairs off screen, then they come on screen.
The screen follows them all the way into Ms. Bustier's old classroom.
They go up the steps all the way to the top.
The screen goes up to reveal its juleka. She sat down in her old 8th grade seat, while looking at her phone. Specifically, her messages.
“Unread”
Her father rarely answered her
Why did she even bother..?
…
Before she knew it, she had been silently crying to herself.
Then the door had creaked open
To greet her was the smile that had loved her for longer than she ever even knew her father.
Her girlfriend, Rose.
She came in smiling wide, hoping Juleka would be there as promised.
Well, she was there.
The 2 meet eyes.
Her smile slowly faded as it dawned upon her that her partner was crying.
She didnt even care why she was crying, she went up to her and hugged her.
Juleka put down her phone and held rose tighter.

Then someone burst through the door, immediately tearing through the calm and semi-silent moment
That someone being Zoé, who volunteered to help Ms. Bustier.]
Zoe: HELLO MS. BUSTIERS CLASSROOM-
[She notices juleka and rose]
Zoe: oh, uh, do you guys want some priva…cy?
Rose: ….uh
Zoe, uhm. What are doing here exactly?
Zoe: oh uh me and marc decided to
volunteer for the parent meeting
Marc: *shuffles in, holding what seems to be a box of various treats like cookies and brownies*

Rose: h-hi, Marc..
[Everyone talks for a bit while Juleka zones out for a bit, her mind still on the messages she sent]
[Juleka sits back down and then she lays her head down
Her eyes slowly close shut, feeling exhausted even though she had been sleeping an hour ago
However, her eyes had opened as soon as they closed. Slowly, yes.
Warm yellow lights nearly blind her when she was woken up by Rose
Specifically by her shaking Jules arm
She opens her eyes to see Rose right in front of her, and Rose talking to Zoe, Sabrina, and Nath. Nath is seen walking back over to his seat.]
Rose: hehe, morning sleepyhead!
Juleka: hmmmmmph?
[Camera pans around room, while Rose talks to Juleka]

Rose: I-we noticed that you were resting, so we prepared stuff without you. Hope that's ok, uh..
Rose: Oh right! After we prepared some stuff, Adrien and Nino came by! They helped us with some of the decorations, and after that, more people started coming in
Rose: like Nath, Mylene, Ivan, Kim, Max- those guys! And now everyone's here!
Rose: well.. mostly everyone. It's... hold on what time is it?
Zoé: its like- 5 ish
Sabrina: 5:07
Rose: right, uh, 5:07 and Ms. Bustiers not here yet
[Juleka finally kinda wakes up mentally]
Juleka: shes what?
Rose: not here yet, Ms. Bustier?
Juleka: ohhh
Wait, why
Rose: i-
Zoé: no one knows, at least I dont think-

Rose: yeah
Zoe: sorry
Rose: its ok, you already kinda summarized
Zoe: ughhhh fuck I

[Rose and Zoe go back and forth with one another
Sabrina leans in to talk with Juleka]

In case you wanna know uh, Marinettes also not here
And we also cant get ahold of her, and Alyas trying right now
Juleka: yeah?
Sabrina: yeah, shes uh
She's outside
