On a walk through the woods, Clémente and Cole took a break and sat down by a river.
Cole looked down at the water, it picked up a Rock that was thin, flat, and only 5 inches wide.
They put the rock in the crook of their pointer finger and thumb, their other fingers going beneath.
They threw the rock into the river, it skipped at least thrice before it went sunk into the water. Clémente mumbled a quiet "wow.."
Clémente glanced at Cole but then back at their hands
It was holding a bracelet- two of them infact, one of them had light green and forest green beads, with only 2 white and blush pink colored beads, it had a white rabbit charm.
and the other bracelet had forest green, deep brown, and ivory colored charms, it had 2 sky blue And beige beads- It had a white goat charm.
They placed the two bracelets next to them, keeping it out of view from Cole
"You okay?" Cole asked
"Huh?" It looked at Cole "I'm fine, Cole, thanks for asking." Clémente added on as they picked at a pink peony flower.
They held the flower in its hand
"This one is really pretty.." they mumbled.
Cole looked at the flower and agreed with Clémente.
"I-i think we should get back to the group, the sun is starting to set" Cole stated as they were about to get up
"Wait! Before we go, can I see your wrist real quick?" Clémente asked
Cole was perplexed at first but then held out their wrist. Clémente grabbed the rabbit bracelet and put it on their wrist.
Cole looked at the bracelet in awe
"It's just for you, honeysuckle" Clémente stated as they put on the goat bracelet on their own wrist.
Cole couldn't help but blush at the nice loving gift.
"Clemmie I- I don't know what to say! Thank you so much!" Cole thanked as they hugged Clémente.
"Of course, honeysuckle." Clémente replied while smiling gently "now let's get back to the house, before Mx Playwright gets worried"
Cole pulled away from the hug "right, right.."
The two walked back to the house and Cole didn't take off the bracelet for the rest of the day.
