Notes:

The following is a small collection of writing exercises where I forced myself to be frugal with my words and my time. It is also a glimpse into four of the thousands of universes in which my two favourite wizards get to fall in love and be in love.

A hearty thank you to the mods of Microfic May, who devised the prompts and the challenge, and to the other writers who encouraged me to join. I didn't manage to fill a bingo card, but I still had fun.

In bits and pieces.

It’s how they’d got to know each other: begrudging small talk at work slowly shifting into easy conversation.

How they’d fallen in love: late nights at the Ministry turning into even later nights in each other’s arms.

And that’s how Harry left him.

In bits and pieces.

Left to pick them up and put them back together.

Bit by bit. Piece by piece.

Because Draco had promised Harry that’s what he’d do.

For him.

For the both of them.

For the day when Draco could tell him everything he did and saw.
