How many times have they been in this situation?
Yet again they catch themselves staring at each other ever so often yet neither of them say anything it's two in the morning they just finished their fight (date) and yet it always ends up like this when will they confess? When will they say anything?
Just sitting there staring and saying nothing after a bit they both part their ways yet another chance wasted
Soon a whole day past and yet again jabber sneaks zanka out of his room and they go to the same fighting spot
Soon they stop fighting and the process repeats they're lying down side by side looking at the stars who's gonna make the first move?
it's obvious that fighting isn't the only thing they wanna do sure it's hella fun and the thrill of sneaking out is just as awesome but they love each other don't they? They'll never admit it though.
The silence broke between them as jabber began to speak.
"Hey zanka.."
Zanka shakes his head a little.
Could he really tell him how he really feels? He'll probably just think he's joking or worse reject him it's stupid anyway love is stupid love slows you down it makes you do things you swear you'd never do it messes things up but maybe love isn't the the worst thing in the world why would someone like jabber be thinkin about love anyway? He's really in love with zanka ain't he..
"Zanka.."
He turned his head to stare directly into his eyes before answering
"Hm?.."
Jabber thought about it for a minute isn't this stupid? How could someone like him even love he pushed those thoughts away if he doesn't say anything now he never will.
But what if he thinks it's stupid? Or just laughs or something worse..
He doesn't want this to end maybe he'll tell em another time.
"Never mind.."
Zanka turned his head slightly to look at jabber before saying
"Y'know you can tell me anythin right?.."
Jabber nodded in response.
"Well.. Take your time don't rush yerself."
"Sheesh man is it the poison or somethin what chu bein so nice for"
"Oh shuddup! I was tryna cheer ya up!" Zanka said making jabber laugh.
"Ah man you're hella funny when yer mad but.. You did cheer me up so you win on that"
"Whatever."
Maybe things can stay like this forever jabber's fine with that if he just lies to himself then everything will be fine.
He has to tell him at some point things can't stay like this forever you can't just lie to yourself.

Later that night after zanka was able to walk again he headed home as soon
as he opened his door he was met by enjin sitting at his desk.
"Do you mind explaining where you were this late at night?"
"I just..went out for a walk"
"Then why is there blood on your clothes."
Fuck.
"I was training.."
Enjin let out a sigh obviously not believing his lie.
"We're talking about this first thing in the morning"
"Okay.."
With that enjin walked out of zanka's room
"He's definitely gonna figure out sooner or later.."

That morning zanka woke up to the sound of his door being opened harshly
"Alrighty time to wake up zanka" riyo said as she pulled zanka's covers off
While rudo opened the curtains
"Ow! What the fuck" zanka said covering his eyes from the sun light
"Enjin said he wants to talk to you." Rudo said
"Plus you never sleep in it's like- yeah eleven in the morning usually you're the first one up in HQ." riyo said resting her chin on her hand
"Yeah well i got home late last night so of course I'm gonna sle- WAIT ENJIN WANTS TO TALK TO ME?!" Zanka said as he jumped out of bed putting his slippers on
"Woahhh slow down what do you mean you got home late last night" riyo said
"Ooo he's in trouble" rudo said in a mocking tone
Zanka side eyed him before looking back ay riyo
"Stayed out too long when i got back enjin was in my room.. I'm in so much trouble" zanka said
"How late was it?" Riyo asked genuinely curious.
"I don't really remember it was like five in the morning"
"What could you possibly be doing outside at five in the morning" rudo said
"Shut the hell up please." It took everything in him not to slap the shit outta rudo
"Okay but seriously get dressed and go to the dining hall oh and good luck this'll probably the last time I'm seeing you"

"I'm just saying maybe you should leave him off the hook i mean we were all teenagers once it's normal for them to at least sneak out once" gris said trying to play good cop
"He came back with blood on his clothes gris. Of course i wanna know where he was and what he was doing" enjin explained
Look enjin probably did worse when he was a teenager but he doesn't want any of his teammates (kids) in anymore danger.
With a sigh gris agreed.
"How about we both talk to him I'll talk to him first" gris said
"Yeah." Enjin said to his boyfriend (hehehe)

"Look we're not mad at you zanka we just want to make sure you are safe" gris explained
"I know.. But i can take care of myself.."
'I've let them worry for me again'..
"Okay just.. Please be careful enjin's already worried for you we all are" gris said with worried eyes
He's really like a second father.
. . .
"You gotta tell me these things zanka you came home bloody and your expect me to not. Worry?"
This is gonna be a longgggg day.
"It's not that big of a day.."
'What am i supposed to say? That i was messing around with a raider? Let alone The Enemy?..'
"Okay i didn't want to do this but you're making me reconsider it."
"Huh?"
'Does he know? Did he figure out?"
"From now on until you tell me where are you going and you're not allowed out by yourself and no choker when you are inside of HQ."
'Is he grounding me? What if he hates me now..'
Zanka gave his choker to enjin with that he walked away to his room.
