Lily had short red hair and wore a black hoodie which had text written in Japanese on it, and she wore a long blue skirt and red boots. Lily was walking through the town listening to some music as her headphones were on and connected to her phone, and she was waiting across the street. Lily looked left and right and found that no cars were coming.
Lily then walked across the street, and she stopped in front of the store. It was a big corner shop, and its sign read ST James Superstore. Lily walked into the store and grabbed a basket. She walked down the first aisle, which was full of sweets and stuff that you could make curry with and to the left of the aisle was the fruit and vegetables. Yet Lily was heading straight forward. She stopped at the meat aisle. Then She opened the first door and smiled as she spotted the burgers and sausages. Lily went to put them in her bag.
Lily thought to herself “okay two done and three more to go now what was next it was um yeah bread” Lily walked over to the bread aisle there were many kinds of bread from baguettes to sourdough but what she wanted was brown bread and she found it and put it in her bag she then also grabbed the hot dog buns and burger buns and put it into her bag.
Lily then thought to herself “great that’s everything “ yet when she walked out of the bread aisle she froze as she remembered “the milk I can’t forget the milk and cheese” Lily walked towards the milk section of the store and took a bottle of milk she then headed to the cheese aisle and took a few of her favourites Brie cheese and mature cheddar cheese red Lester and Stilton cheese.
Lily then walked over to the till and waited in line. Once she got in front, she saw that a panda beast man was the cashier. The beast man spoke and said, “Welcome to St James. How can I help you today?”
Lily nervously replied with “j-just buying a few th-things “Lily then took her shopping out of her bag, and the beast man scanned each item, and Lily watched while tapping her foot in place. Once the cashier was done scanning, he asked, “Do you have a membership card?” and Lily shook her head, and said , “N-no, I don’t have one. D-do I need one? Is it important?” The cashier just shrugged his shoulders and said
“Only if you want our savings, but it’ll cost extra to buy one” Lily then shook her head and said, “N-no, thank you. I don’t want it” Then the cashier asked, “Will you be paying cash or card?” Lily quickly responded with “Card!” She then presented the cashier with her card, but stopped once she realised it wasn’t in her hand. Lily double checked her wallet and thought to herself, “shit, I forgot my card at home” Her smile turned awkward, and she let out a nervous laugh.
Lily's heart seemed to race a thousand miles a minute as she thought about all the bad things that could happen due to forgetting her card. Such as getting banned from the only local supermarket store or getting arrested for wasting the cashier’s time. Her breathing stopped for a second but restarted and she said “I-i seem to have forgotten my card, sorry”, and Lily quickly grabbed her now empty bag and rushed out of the store before the cashier could say anything else. Lily ran across the street until she reached the bus stop and stopped there. Lily then froze as she thought to herself, “Great! Of course, I forgot the most important thing! My debit card, I bet I left it on the kitchen counter again”
Lily let out a sigh, but when she heard a notification sound pop up on her phone, she went to read it. The notification was from Amazon saying her delivery had just arrived, and when she jumped into the air, “m-my new drawing tablet is here!” Lily cheered, but then stopped and thought to herself “,Amazon must have left it with the neighbour “She shook upon realising she would have to talk to her neighbour.
Lily then closed her eyes and activated one of her demigod powers. Since she was a child of Hermes, she had inherited the ability to teleport anywhere at will, and once she focused and finished thinking about the location, in this instance home, she was gone in a white flash. She expected to be at home, but she heard the sound of ducks. Lily opened her eyes and was shocked “n-not again!” she facepalmed straight away and said “i-I’ve a-appeared at the d-duck pond!” she groaned loudly and looked at the ducks it was rather calming to see all the ducks swimming in the pond lily then sighed and took out her phone she began to take photos of the ducks and thought to herself “I might as well enjoy it” her stomach then grumbled and Lily remembered she had no food. Lily put her hand in her pocket, and then she gasped.
Lily thought to herself, “Great, my card must have fallen out of my wallet and into my pocket” She then turned around and looked at the local cafe behind her. She said aloud, “A trip to the local cafe could be nice” She then walked over to the cafe and went inside. While in there, she ordered herself a hot chocolate and a lemon tart. She then said, “f-finally some food!”
