The TV's light shadows everything that it cannot see, what it can it licks with a pale blue hue. The sound of an AC running faintly in the background, their body is warm against the cold breeze. Their eyes flutter shut, stinging slightly. Hands continue to run through their hair, easing his body, his breathing is calming them closer to the edge of sleep.
His voice wakes them up shortly after though.
“Suguru?” He says quietly, continuing to run his fingers through their hair.
They turn their head slightly to look up at him “Mmgh… yeah?” they respond, trying to blink the sleepiness off.
“Can you come to my dorm more? Today was nice..” He has a small, tired smile. I think it's time we both go to bed, but I'm too tired to move.
“I can, I like it here anyways. We should probably go to bed-”
“Sit up, I'll carry you.”
They force themself up, missing when their head was on his lap already, the warmth quickly escaping them. Their body feels like a pile of rocks, they'll fall back down any second. The couch shifts as he stands up, he stretches and looks back at them. They tiredly look back, their arms barely supporting them, it would be alright to just lay down for a little, right?
Their arms stop supporting them and they fall back down onto the couch, it groans in protest.
He looks down at me, concern glinting in his eyes, as fast as it came it hid once more.
“You need to sleep more, you can't keep falling over like this.”
“I have important things to do..” they can feel themself nodding off again, their eyes closing as they’re picked up. Their head rests against his shoulder, jostled slightly every step he takes, feeling heavy and they can tell they’ll fall asleep any second. They’re laid on the bed and he lays next to them.
