Hero was sitting there, zoned out. They didn't even bother listening, David's words were just nonsensical background noise to them. That was until a voice unknown to them made them look up from their seat.
>"You think you're so GRAND, HUH!?"
>"Spouting all those words.. and for WHAT!?"
>"I-I think there's a technical error here."
Then 3 people fell from the ceiling and knocked out Builderman. One was wearing a cloak and a dominus. The other two were noobs. One with a helmet, the other with a sword. Hero felt their heart racing.
>'What is this.. feeling.. in my chest?'
Before they could think of anything else, they saw JParty stand up from his seat.
>"Fear not, David "Builderman" Baszucki, as your honorary assistant, I am also.."
>"Your honorary bodyguard!"
JParty got a ball and went onto the stage. He threw the ball at the helmeted noob and the noob dodged it and knocked JParty to the floor.
The elderly penguin next to them got up from his seat and convinced them to fight the three. As Hero fought the two noobs, they noticed that the cloaked figure wasn't there. >'Wonder where they went.' >'Ehh, not my problem!'
They discovered the ball was a superball. It came back to them after being thrown, almost like a boomerang. >'That's.. pretty cool! I've always wanted to use a superball..'
After defeating the enemies, the mysterious figure stole the retro toolkit from where David laid, and it started floating out of the person's hands. Hero felt themself getting pulled in by it and tried their best to get out of its range. But apparently, they didn't try hard enough and got sucked in.
...
They opened their eyes and walked around the area.
>'Where am I..?'
>'All I can remember is-'
They held their chest and felt their face heat up. Their heart was beating faster every minute that passed. The way they felt was indescribable even to them.
>'I-is this..'
>'Love?'
