“Kevin? This must be the third time you’ve called. I’ve got this, you know? I have the same degree!” Jakob giggles.
“I know. I just… I like doing it!” Kevin starts to explain.
“I like when you do it, too!” Jakob laughs, “This job is way easier-”
“With another pair of hands?”
“-when you do it all! I like when you do it all.” Kevin laughs, but Jakob continues, “I like when you… It’s like… You’re amazing and you do it all so smoothly and everything sounds amazing after you’ve worked your magic and I could watch you work all day, but also listen to the end products on repeat forever. You just make everything so… You take our ideas and make them something else beyond what I could envision. Every beat leaves goosebumps, and…” Jakob sighs, “It’s always far better than whatever I could dream up and I’ll never tire of watching that... Watching you do that!”
He’s blushing: it’s the only indication that Jakob is aware he just said that all aloud.
“That’s a lot of words to say I miss you when three would have done…” Kevin laughs. Whispering, he then adds, “Jakob, I love you too!”
