Chapter Text

"You..." Minerva starts, her ears flattening, her nose scrunching up, "Are so, fucking..."

Folly's eyes crinkled upwards, amusement glistening in her eyes. Folly had just come from her floor, the Limbo, after realizing that only Minerva had been on the elevator. Thought it'd be a good idea to… get to know her better lets say, seeing as shes been here only a month and they barely know each other

"Dirty."

"Pfft- AHAHAHAHAHHA!" Folly cackles, as though knowing the punchline of the joke the white wolf told was the funniest thing she's heard this year. She clutches her arms to her stomach, wiping faux tears from her eyes. "You're real hilarious you know that? So much emotions stirring in you just from being in the same vicinity as me. It's so.. pathetic."

Minerva sighs, rubbing her forehead with a hand, a pained expression on her face. The elevator, whilst still descending, well, no one else has been coming into the elevator since Folly. Maybe the people just didn't want to deal with Folly, unfortunately leaving Minerva to deal with her. There isn't much else to focus on in this elevator, considering Folly takes up so much space, physically and mentally since she doesn't know how to keep her yap shut. Its hard not to notice the dirt, the dust...

"...the stains" Minerva mutters under her breath, her face of utter contempt for the beast standing across from her in the other corner, the corner aside the one from the elevator buttons..

The elevator door creeks open. On the other side is Minerva's floor - a bar. It's almost evening, the sun outside setting and creating a beautiful ombre of colors, much to the bartender's delight. The bartender, Jax, who stood behind the counter, his posture immediately straightening upon the dinging of the elevator. He was preparing to greet whoever was coming from the elevator, however instead of willing customers, it's his boss dragging a nine foot tall beast by its hair... up into the rooms. He adjusts his gold rimmed glasses, unsure of what he's seeing.

"Wow.. I knew boss had interesting tastes but damn-" He shock his head at the memory. Folly isn't exactly a friendly... being, last time she was here she tormented him with his past, then just ordered a coffee cocktail. He still remembers the glint, the smile in her eye as she toyed with his private shit, bringing up memories he wished he could just bury and let stay buried. She didn't even end up drinking the cocktail.. though to be fair she didn't have a mouth as far as he knew; she kept her mask on the entire time. But to dance with the devil, boss is such a fearless woman, truly.

"Get your filthy hands off me, mutt." Folly grumbled. It was bad enough being dragged by her hair back to Minerva's bar, even if it is usually crawling with carefully hidden tears, debt, and tragedy. This bar is where Minerva and her mob make their secret transactions to valued customers. Not that that matters right now, as Folly is now in Minerva's bedroom in front of a door.

"Get in.. and you do not get to be the one to call me filthy" Minerva says coldly, opening the door to the bathroom and kicking Folly in. How Minerva got so strong, so mentally resilient, Folly doesn't know, which was a first for her. For the first time in her life, she's had to manually find dirt on her victim… which hasn't even resulted in much, much to Folly's dismay.

"I refuse to take off my sweater." Folly mutters, fiddling with her claws behind her back, eyes narrowing at Minerva."Doesn't matter. Just need you clean." Minerva answers absentmindedly, drawing a bath for the dirty beast "If you want to shower whilst your clothes are on, suit yourself. It'll just take way longer then I planned initially." Folly sighs. No way for her to escape this hellhole that is a forced bath.

…Except it wasn't too bad. Sure Folly's thigh eyes were forced closed at the moment by the bath water, but having her "hair" washed was actually quite comfortable. Folly's eyes close contently as Minerva massages the shampoo into her scalp.

"You purr, you know that?" Minerva points out. While her face stayed neutral, her ears twitched in slight curiosity. Of course she didn't think the big scary beast can purr, no one would, and Folly preferred it that way. "Do not speak of this to anyone, lest you wish to be sent to a watery grave." Folly snarled. However, Minerva just continues massaging Folly's scalp, causing another set of begrudged purrs from Folly as she presses her head into the white wolf's hands.

After washing the shampoo from Folly's "hair," it was time to move onto her body.

"I won't look at your body, but to properly wash it I'll have to go under the clothes." Minerva warns.

"Oh so now you care about my consent." Folly snaps back, looking her dead in her eyes.

"Everyone needs a good bath once in a while, even the incarnation of fear and nightmares." Minerva replied softly.

Silence.. before Folly pipes up with "How could you possibly be the boss of a mafia???" Minerva replies, hand on Folly's shoulder

"You have the ability to look into people's minds, don't you? You should know by now."

Folly looks back down and scoffs, "You're a special case. I cannot look into your mind at all. I can only at most feel what you have right now, which… why are you so serene??"

"Hm.. Good to know that Lizzie's charms been doing a good job, even against whats essentially a demigod." Minerva mumbles before speaking up again, "You never answered my…"

Folly sighs and gives a nod.

"Thank you" Minerva mumbles. She takes off her monocle and starts lathering Folly's soaked body… fur,? with soap.

Folly reminisces about her first encounter with Minerva, the mob boss. It was the second time she'd been on the floor herself, and well you couldn't blame anyone for wanting to come back, there was a veiled animosity that was just… delicious. She could feel it in her bones, that there was something amiss in the seemingly joyous place. Besides, it is an interesting floor without the mystery, it's as though the elevator learned how to venture through worlds and and choose this one out of all the others.
