Chapter Text
The gentle breeze of the wind flowing through my hair after a long night of sneaking around and stealing diamonds and gold necklaces, sighing and puling my hood down and sliding into my car that was definitely not stolen. Throwing my bag of goods in the back seat making a loud clinking sound trying to ignore the loud noise of police cars in the distance going the complete opposite way from me.
Chuckling in amazement and starting the car, the comforting hum of it coming alive and moving onto the road going wherever i would want was freeing. Nothing and nobody holding me back.
———time skip———
Blasting music of my favourite song, screaming along to the lyrics while speeding through the empty road, it was so easy maybe watching all those documentaries of murders and criminals played part or they were just not as good as you. You obviously weren’t telling the whole truth, yes you were good but at the cost of living in a constant state of worry. Building walls around you not letting anyone one in, was it worth it?
Sighing to yourself no point on dwelling now. You were already too far in to give up now and the thrill of it was definitely worth it too, that money as well? You could get anything you ever wanted and you definitely did. Getting expensive heels, bags and a ton of clothes while wearing diamond necklaces and gold bracelets.
It definitely boosts your ego when people turn or take a second glance, it was quite a hassle though bringing all your stuff everywhere you go when your always on the run.
Pulling into a hotel parking lot tires screeching as you take a turn, seems far enough to get a rest for a couple of days. Grabbing two large suitcases from the trunk of your car and the bag from your back seat, taking off your hoodie folding it over your arm changing from suspicious to normal, not as outgoing as you like it but normal. A tight f/c shirt with black mini shorts your long/short h/c curling around in the wind, breathing in the fresh air and walking into the hotel with bold and flashing colours all around the place already giving you a headache.
A lady in a polo shirt and a black skirt behind the counter with a bored expression and dark eye bags leaning onto her hand like she was about to fall asleep, poor lady. You clear your throat as she still hasn’t noticed you, she springs up standing up straight and now shes clearing her throat. “Sorry how can i help?” Saying in a quick manner stumbling over her words as she scratches the back of her neck.
“Um i need a room for three days just for one but do you have a double bed?” Shifting my bag on my shoulder careful not make any noise of the ton of stolen jewellery i have in it, already dreaming of sleeping on a bed with comfy sheets.
“Yeah we do but it’s gonna be a 250 a night is that alright?” She smiles with practice ease, i nod pulling out 800 from my pocket “is cash alright..?” I ask looking up at her.
She nods and takes a key from a hook on the wall behind her handing it to me and taking my money putting it in the register, i say thanks while walking away rolling my suitcases by my side looking at my key 206. Seems like i’m on the second floor. God stairs.
Finally reaching my room and quickly opening my door locking it behind me flicking the light switch on by the side of the door , leaving my suitcases by the door and throwing my bag on a nearby chair sluggishly. Pulling off my tight jean shorts like you could ever sleep in them. And quickly throwing myself onto the bed making a loud creak sound from the impact, climbing under the sheets pulling them up to my chin, sighing loudly my eye lids getting heavy slowly falling asleep but a sudden tapping sound coming from the balcony. Trying to ignore it pulling the sheets over my head squeezing my eyes shut my mood already shit.
After what felt like forever the sound of tapping stopped which to you felt like nails on a chalkboard, finally getting peace and drifting off to sleep after a long night.
Click.
Click.
Pulling the sliding door open slowly and walking over to the fast asleep figure spread out on the bed.
Wasn’t she meant to be thief? And meant to be the one sneaking up on people?
