“Grace wants to play enrichment game question”
It has been a few months since Grace friend saved both Enid and Earth he has been moved into the bio-dome but still he seems restless. Adrian suggested that I play a game with friend. Mate is very smart and pretty, today science Eridians let me suggest idea to Grace.
“What do you mean enrichment game?”
For such a smart science brain human still asks stupid questions.
“Predators need to hunt you haven’t hunted statement.”
“I don’t need to hunt Rocky. I’m fine.”
“Grace is bored statement.”
“No, I’m not.”
“Then why Grace stand and do nothing statement.”
Grace face changed to a look I knew meant he realized once again that I was right. I am right a lot Grace doesn’t yet know that.
“Fine, Fine we can play a game.”
“I hide you hunt for me statement.”
“You mean hide and seek?”
“What is hide-seek question?”
Grace looked at me for a few moments maybe he is thinking of the best way to describe this human culture thing.
“It’s a game, Rocky.”
“Understand Grace count to Vℓ”
With that I ran to hide from Grace I could hear Grace counting in human units. I needed to think of the best hiding spot. Well by that logic I should keep moving, if I go all the way up and up to ‘cliffs’ as Grace calls them. It’ll be easier for me to get there if I float on water raft that Grace has. There is also only one so Grace will struggle to follow.
Floating was an interesting experience I had to move around a lot so I wouldn’t tip the raft. The water made sounds and faintly I could hear Grace start moving he sounded to be many yards (as Grace calls them) away.
After a short time (hard to tell without clock) I was at the cliff base and I climbed up there were many things that looked like me Grace called them rocks, and they are different than the scary Earth “Spider” that I also look like.
I noticed a gap in-between two of these rocks and I nestled in the middle of them. I waited for Grace to find me.
And waited.
and I waited some more.
Waiting…
Grace is taking a long time. He takes so long that it becomes time for Enid and mates to sleep. I miss my mate will Adrian be okay to sleep if I stay? I do not know I need someone to watch me sleep. Perhaps rocks can work like Enids do. Adrian is very smart mate, today is second day of the week cycle so Adrian will be dancing late tonight.
Normally, I would feel scared to sleep alone but I got used to doing it after crew died. I fell asleep.
5 Earth Hours Later:
“Hey Buddyyyyyyy”
I shrieked.
I did not hear this annoying human approach I knew it was Grace. I knew his voice. Then I heard Grace laughter. He laughed loudly and picked me up, much to my resentment. Grace was soaking wet.
“Grace, Grace put down statement!”
“Nope! This is just what happens I win.”
“Yes,Yes Grace and stupid eyes win put down statement.”
Grace finally put me down as I glared at him.
“I’m surprised you fell asleep without someone watching.”
“Rocks watch statement. Why are you wet question”
“Well since you took the raft I had to swim to get here.”
I nodded that made sense, Grace smiled again, and checked his clock the one that Enid’s made him to make sure he isn’t late to his classes.
“Adrian should be done her dancing by now don’t you need to get back?”
I nodded quickly moving around.
“Yes yes return to Adrian.”
After saying goodbye to Grace I climbed down the cliffs again and I left the bio dome. I had to watch Adrian sleep now.
