Work Text:

The building was dim.

The kind of dim, to make one worried, and to give off a strong feeling of unease. The walls were even worse, covered in overgrown planets sneaking their way onto the walls, mysterious wires, and stains of soot, oil, and grease.

The once famous “Freddys” was now a horror attraction, with a real “animatronic” within it.

Sitting in a desolate room, with no lights, and no music, was a presumably rabbit, whose age was long past. A dark green layer of grime, and stains of actual blood covering it whole. The rabbit had been in serious condition since it was first found, with what looked to be actual guts and gore inside of it. The people who found him, found it “perfect.”

But, something felt off about it. The rabbit, although hosting a human corpse inside, was highly liked by people who did not understand the thing lurking within. It could move, it could walk, and it, can chase.

It couldn’t talk though. It could only give out loud mechanical rasps that sounded like skin ripping itself apart. Its eyes could glow, once again giving that ugly, looming feeling of dread it always had.

And its smell. It smelt like one of the most disgusting things one could ever name. It was either a mixture of ammonia, or vomit, that caused it to smell this way. But on the other-hand, if it hosted a human corpse, then obviously it will reek.

All of the sudden, it stood up, as if it was someone at a church, standing up to pray. But it was not, it was someone so unholy that not even a literal priest nor an exorcist could help it.

Its head, no matter how much the rabbit tried, could not turn. It was stuck like that, forever, and even if the corpse inside could feel pain, then it could feel plenty of it just by being there.

It, as in, itself, seemed alive, like a crushed up ant, living on for spite, and malice. It did not want to live, as some figured out, but it lived for its pure, embedded rage. It was stuck like this, forever.
