Something was… Suspicious today.
Sun and Moon had been off all day, staring at you as you walked by or talked to kids and parents, but always quickly looking away when you spotted them. They were also unusually quiet; even Sun hadn’t said that many words during the day.
When it was time to clean up, you did your usual routine, humming softly along to the music playing over the speakers as you picked up toys and trash.
Until you startled as your boys thumped against the floor hard behind you, seemingly appearing from nowhere.
You spun around just as he- oh, that was Eclipse- pressed against you, pressing their arms to the wall before cupping your face so gently, like they were touching a flower rather than you. “Staaarlight~ Pretty, pretty Star…”
They leaned closer, and you squeaked softly, your face heating up as they tilted their head at you. “You’ll give us a treat now, right? Because you’re so sweet to us.”
They leaned even closer, their smile growing as their face softened further. “You won’t make us beg…”
You could only watch as their smile turned sharp and widened, their own face glowing some as they slid their hand down to your chin.
“Will you, Starlight?”
And your face exploded with heat.
You opened your mouth to speak, only getting a strained, flustered squeak out before covering your face with your hands to muffle your scream.
There was a low chuckle above you, and arms circled your shoulders, pulling you to a warm chest that vibrated with a happy purr. “T-Too much? Starlight...?”
You tensed against them, listening to their fans whirr frantically before taking a soft breath and leaning back to look at them. Red and blue eyes looked down at you with affection and worry, their smile growing smaller and gentler as they looked you over. “Star?”
You were quiet for a long time, just staring and making them fidget before reaching up towards their face. They immediately leaned into it, their eyes closing as they whirred softly.
They looked back up after a moment, eyes dim and smile shaky. “...Kiss? Please? We’ll be good, promise.”
Your breath caught at their quiet request, huffing softly before stretching up and pressing a gentle peck to their forehead, then their cheeks, their nose, and finally, their lips.
They melted against it, the purr growing louder as they pressed their hands against your sides, holding you close like they were afraid you would disappear.
You pulled back, looking up at their lovestruck expression and chuckling weakly. “Silly boys…”
“Only for you~” They purred, nuzzling your face gently and pulling you closer. “Sweet, pretty Starlight…”
Well, so much for getting the daycare cleaned quickly...
