Work Text:
Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo weren’t meant to cross each other’s path in this timeline, but a single glance connected their souls to their past narratives.
It all started with a small farmer, living with the comfort of his cozy farm and redundant days. His mother taught him every survival trick in this cruel universe and offered him the love he needed as a child, who struggled to create a bond with his father. Things haven't always been easy for the curious soul, but with compromises and shared efforts, the relationship with his dad became strong enough to mark a tender chapter of the omega’s past.
The freckled man was defined by many names and praised for a beauty able to steal the heart of the naive spirits, who accidentally looked at him for a few seconds. He never wanted to twist this story and be the bad guy of this situation, but he found himself using this charm with a few reputed names in the neighbourhood lands to save his farm, despite never reaching the outcome of these promises, influenced by selfishness. Don’t get him wrong, he enjoyed the superficial attention and wished someone could like him for his true self instead of this pretentious facade, but his family was his main priority!
After all, it’s not like he even got attached to any of the people who accidentally found their way in this cursed forest, known to trap everyone who had the audacity to search for its darkest secrets. For unknown reasons, this place seemed to have an attachment toward the Midoriya family, who always offered one golden coin as a way to thank the stars for protecting their home. Every new head who reached the isolated farm was automatically considered a threat, especially when their corrupted malice was betrayed by their attempts to get the prettiest trophy to their side.
Izuku knew he should stop and simply deny the offers, served on a silver platter about a more comfortable lifestyle, but the naivety of his victims made the situation easier for his parents, who survived due to his wise tricks. Inko tried to warn him before falling into his own trap, but the freckled man was ready to do everything in his favor to keep his loved ones safe…
—----
His life changed during a summer day, when the burning heat on the exposed shoulders forced the determined farmer to wipe the sweat away from his forehead.
The exposure of his scars on his porcelain skin became the source of the curious whispers, caressing his ears for a temporary reminder of this cruel reality, until the breeze disappeared in the calm landscape. This morning, the atmosphere in the house had been more tense than usual, especially after the recent pouring rain that brought more tasks to their already long list. Inko and Hisahi volunteered to participate in the chores and make this pressure easier on their son’s shoulders, but Izuku insisted on letting them rest a little longer. After all, they were getting older and the freckled man felt the need to change his mind from his recent nightmares, shortening his nights with the worst-case scenarios drawing themselves as a temporary reality.
His palms found the used tool and cleaned the foam, making lighter conversation with the animals and talking to himself between each chore. A few hours had passed since his awakening and his body seemed to have enough energy to do this a little longer, especially after his midday break and the desire to make things easier for the next day, despite the terrible weather announced for the night. Lost in his thoughts, he barely heard the background noise from the outside of the barn, until the footsteps became clearer and caught his attention. The location was small enough to notice the slightest changes in his surroundings, unable to mask the intruder’s presence, as the bitter impression of deja vu replayed inside his mind when Izuku sighed, preparing himself to play with the doe eyes and the fake blush on his cheeks, but the reality caught him off guard.
The first thing he noticed was the taller figure, with his golden spikes, and the grace of his crimson eyes. The freckled man had never been the kind to easily fall for strangers, he did get a tiny interest in blurry faces of his past, but none were as captivating as the man standing right in front of him. He didn’t belong to royalty, but could easily compare the stunning of these irises to the most valuable jewel of the kingdom, that messed with more than one heart. At first sight, it seemed like the farmer hadn't recognized the figure of authority standing a few meters away from him, being too captivated by his beauty.
Katsuki Bakugo was the only heir of his family line, born after the union of Mitsuki and Masaru Bakugo in an arranged marriage that gave birth to the son adored by an entire kingdom. He grew up with the basics of royalty and the role he needed to have after his coronation, but the prince never thought he would find himself on his rival’s lands, with fate mocking his past beliefs. After all, he did survive many failed murder attempts on his life since his coronation, but losing himself in the unknown was a first!
Before realizing it, his shadows disappeared in the darkness wrapping and guiding his footsteps into this unexplored area, with no way to return back to his men on the other side of the forest. After all, the prince wanted to know the right path to return to his castle, but he accidentally ran into the prettiest man he had ever seen. The distinct shades of the forest that wrapped its darkness around him were nothing compared to the emerald one appearing in this breathtaking painting, with these messy curls and these stunning irises, reminding him of the most envious gems of the lands. The farmer was shorter than him but this endearing detail made his heart more sensitive to earache expression crossing this stranger’s face, highlighted by the freckles on his porcelain skin. With a closer look, the blond could distinguish how they all owned different forms on both cheeks, with the slight blush that colored his heated skin, considered a pleasant detail for his heart.
Katsiki and Izuku weren’t the kind of people to believe in love at first sight, but the circumstances led them to think about assumptions they’ve never thought possible until now. The fast heartbeat and the rise of this undeniable heat on their skin reflected mutual attraction, even if none of these details compared to the warm sentiment inside their chest. There was something strangely familiar about this stranger standing by their side: Their identities merged in a public crowd but the clarity of their faces gave an echo to a certain past that seemed out of reach for the moment. The two men would definitely remember if they already crossed each other’s path but a heavy silence filled the distance between their two figures and the discreet barn, which became the scenery to the beginning of this enchanting tale, that’ll forge a timeless narrative.
“My apologies for asking such a question but…Have we met before ?” Asked the shorter man, hoping the wind wouldn't steal the repetitive melody that occupied his ears. The omega welcomed the scarlet heat on his freckled cheeks, mesmerized by the magnetic attraction of these crimson eyes, which seemed to reveal thousands of secrets the farmer hadn't discovered yet.
“I don’t think so…My name is Katsuki Bakugo,” the prince replied with a grin at the corner of his lips. He welcomed this sensation of deja vu, biased by the warmth of these stunning emerald eyes, which looked familiar from a distant past. Their paths probably met by accident in town during the market day, but Katsuki rarely left his castle, except for the political agreement related to his kingdom. Izuku couldn’t believe in such a theory when he spent most of his time with the chores of his farm, but he would’ve remembered if his curious glances found someone as stunning as the prince!
“My apologies, I didn’t expect to meet a noble on this peaceful day” the farmer mumbled with a sigh, regaining his consciousness. The omega was often told how his curiosity was one of his biggest qualities and charms, depending on the chosen narratives, but he didn’t mind exploring this pleasing sentiment that felt refreshing for a wise heart like his. “Mine is Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you. Tell me, how did you end up here ?”
“That’s an easy question….I accidentally took another direction that wasn't on the map, until this forest guided me to you, but I'm starting to think the risk was worth the try.”
The prince was coveted by many people, ready to do anything to steal this empty throne and warm their lonely nights, and Katsuki stopped counting the number of times he received invitations to an arranged marriage, or ideas to get concubinage. None of this romance mattered to him when the sake of his kingdom was a important pressure on his shoulder! He was advantaged by the symbol of a status and the victories of his ancestors, but love had never been something that interested him…until his eyes locked into this stunning omega.
Izuku’s eyes softened at the sudden praise, moving a lost curl behind his ears to cover the rising blush on his cheeks. In all honesty, the manipulative farmer, who used the best tricks against his target, ended up becoming the puppet of fate with this strange sensation inside his chest. His heart had never beaten this fast for anyone else before, and his fake blush, used with his mother’s makeup, couldn’t compare to the intensity of the real ones he experienced at this moment. The prince represented an inaccessible mystery to solve behind this glance, and for the first time in his life, the omega was ready to push his persona aside and give it a try at this inexplicable bond….
“This is embarrassing but I lost track of my men and I’m not sure I can find my way without my map,” Katsuki pointed out with a sigh. The only thing he wanted was to get some rest after this obstacle to his original plans, but he wouldn’t consider the omega as a bother if he was the muse of the repetitive prose inside his chest. Don’t get him wrong, the blond was more than relieved to find someone in these solitary lands, but he wanted to stay a little longer to figure things out.
“You haven’t heard the rumors? It’s dangerous to be on your own in this part of the lands,” explained the green-haired man, pushing the previous tool on the wall. He walked closer to the taller figure and noticed their height differences, but the comprehensive expression on the omega’s face brought a certain reassurance in the blond’s chest. “I’ve heard the weather will be capricious tonight, I think I can find a guest room and I'm sure my parents wouldn’t mind some company for dinner.”
“The offer sounds pretty tempting but I don’t want to be a bother, the barn should be fine for me,” he replied with a nod. Izuku contained a chuckle, amused by the limits the blond was ready to brave to be a discreet guest, pushing aside his symbolic status. The freckled man might be a vicious spirit for anyone with bad intentions, but he looked more appeased by the kind aura of this prince, who didn’t try to force any boundaries compared to the other fools who cursed this place.
“I appreciate the devotion, but it won’t be necessary, your majesty," Izuku replied with a knowing tone, walking outside the barn. The golden-haired man didn’t fight back, too occupied to observe the ray of sunlight crossing the shades of green inside his messy curls, and the fond smile that resided at the tip of the omega’s lips. The captivated prince couldn’t take his eyes away from the delicacy of the wind messing with Izuku’s hair, the freckles covering his blush, and the ethereal appeal of this amazing scenery. “No need to put someone like you in such conditions, and we actually have a room for curious happenings like this one. Make yourself at home until the road is safe until tomorrow, Katsuki.”
If Katsuki thanked him for his service and explained how he was indebted, Izuku offered a slight smile in the corner of his lips and guided him into the wooden house that differed from the luxurious castle. At first, the prince was hesitant about the right to introduce someone's habits when he was a stranger, but the shorter omega reassured him and explained how everything would be fine, using the safety excuse to search for the answers his curious heart needed about this man.
Inko and Hisashi were surprised to see another face at their doorstep, but their gaze found the emerald ones, who seemed to know what he was doing. The older couple had already seen their son and his tricky plans, but it was the first time they'd noticed such fondness: Usually, the smart omega would play pretend with his doe-eyes and his lying skills that scared the most vicious men of the lands, but there was something different with this Katsuki Bakugo.
It was hidden behind the small gestures residing in the most meaningless details in their surroundings. It started when the golden-haired man made a friendly presentation about his name and his royal status, unaware of the touched emerald eyes in the background who seemed to enjoy the familiarity of a scene that happened for the first time in their timeline. The prince found his ease with the family habits and got the chance to learn more about their lifestyle at the farm, while exchanging about the royal duties that acquainted him at home.
The conversation was surprisingly smooth between the couple and their new guests, realizing how it had been a long time since they had received some good company. The family almost forgot this peaceful sensation inside their home that didn’t feel like a trap for once, especially when the green-haired man made a hidden smile at the affectionate scene under his eyes. The dinner was highlighted by many conversations about the topics unexplored in Katsuki’s home, and the understanding glance of the couple when the taller man asked if they needed any help.
Instead of letting their new guest feel uncomfortable, they decided to let their son be the guide of the house and watched with spying eyes the moving shadows in the corridors, sharing light conversations and melodious laughter, as if they were five years old again. As parents, they were relieved to see the smile rising on their son’s face, who had handled all the weight of this farm and the vultures from the past, until they decided to have a small talk with him.
After wishing a good night to their guest, Inko and Hisahi walked to their doorsteps after closing the wooden door with a slow movement, trying not to scare Izuku, who rested on the doorsteps to get some air. The breeze caressed his forehead and lost curls as he remembered the details mentioned earlier in the conversation, describing these strange feelings that occupied their chest, but none of the logical explanations fit with this sudden meeting that transformed their entire world. There must be a good explanation for this phenomenon that doesn’t make any sense, but if this interrogation was meant to reduce to a simple theory…Why did his heart ache at the idea of letting the blond leave tomorrow?
“Looks like you’ve made a new friend,” Inko pointed out with a smile, ruffling the green curls. She loved her son more than her own life, and was relieved to see how this time, the stranger who reached their house didn’t have bad intentions. The blonde acted as a friend toward her son, instead of some kind of manipulative lover, who promised unreachable goals with pretty lies behind their tricks. “He seems great and even complimented your cooking skills….Tell me, are you trying to seduce this one ?”
“I don’t think I need to…” Izuku whispered with a light tone. This repetitive habit of receiving strangers and playing with their naive beliefs had always been something rational for his inner omega, who tried to protect himself from loneliness, but this time, it was different. He didn’t mind exploring more about this narrative a little longer, if this meant discovering sensations he'd never felt before…and maybe surprise himself in the process. “Maybe I should make an exception for him and put my guard down, who knows where it’ll lead me.”
“You like him don’t you ?” The green-haired woman said, sharing a knowing glance at her husband. It was too early to make assumptions about the rest of the relationship between Izuku and their guest, but the couple already knew the symbolism of early hints dropped by inattention and their meaning. After all, they’ve been in love for too long to not distinguish the similar evidence to a story that looked like theirs, despite the evident differences between the protagonists of this story.
“I don’t really know, but I enjoy his company, which is a good beginning,” he affirmed with a pleased smile, resting his head on his mother’s shoulders. This situation was strange in its own way, almost like the two men were the shadows of each other’s lives despite never interacting before, but the tender warmth that spread inside their chests was worth the try to dig deeper into this captivating mystery..
—--
The next morning was filled with the welcoming atmosphere of this house and its extra guest, who seemed to take his ease in this pleasing cocoon.
Katsuki Bakugo had already traveled in many countries, but none were as comfortable as this solitary house beside his lands with this name that occupied most of his thoughts for unknown reasons. As expected, the weather calmed down a few hours ago, reminding him how his time here was limited, but not sealed by a last goodbye when he walked back into the forest with a map and a golden coin, to symbolize his “thank you” gift to the deities of the place.
Izuku expected to return back to his usual habits after the blond’s departure, but his assumptions were proven wrong when his eyes recognized the golden spikes from afar, with a grin at the tip of his lips and a few bags in his hands. The green-haired man questioned what the prince was doing here, but Katsuki explained how he “accidentally” lost himself again with some gifts he wanted to offer to the family, who saved him from a potential murder by wolves. The farmer rolled his eyes and didn’t believe any of his innocent excuses, but accepted the efforts made by the blond to spend more time with him, to the point of forgetting about how the man by his side wasn’t the future king of Mustafu, but Kacchan, the stubborn guy who found comfort in the farm’s chores.
The prince’s visit became a daily habit for the Midoriyas, who thanked him for all his kind gestures and help brought to the farm. Inko and Hisahi noticed how their son’s face often brightened when his emerald eyes recognized the familiar faces from afar, warming their hearts about this blooming romance that marked a golden youth.
Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo belonged to opposite universes, but their boundaries became a forgotten souvenir when their faces turned warm after their shared praise, and slight tease. Over the next months, the two men enjoyed the strength of their new bond, even if Katsuki’s royal duties took most of his time, the blond always found a way to dodge the stupid excuses and visit the nerd. The distant shadows took the endearing title of best friends, until their hearts slowly drifted into an affair, highlighted by the stolen handhold in moments of vulnerability. The hesitant gestures and hidden blush on their skins were a sentiment too magical to be transcribed into words, marked by the delicacy of their glances, stronger than any promises they’ve sealed until now.
If the two lovers were too shy to mention the nature of their relationship in their conversation, their growing feelings facilitated the ease of their delicate laugh, which became the echoes of a melody that warmed the other’s hearts. Izuku Midoriya never thought he would be able to sincerely fall in love with someone in a fragile present, corrupted by his past actions, but he welcomed the blond’s smirks and the numerous confessions covered in praise. Katsuki Bakugo naively followed the rest of this adventure, ignoring the advice shared by heartbroken extras, who had already crossed the freckled man’s road. The person described in their perspective didn’t reflect the ray of sunshine that stood by his side, and the name that occupied his lips during his solitary ruts!
However, the farmer caught the whispers about him and his close proximity to the prince each time he hung out in town. His friends tried to calm the situation down, but the omega wondered if the prince had already heard about his reputation, which represented a source of concern, something he would’ve never thought possible until now. A part of him was afraid to see the man he loved leaving him overnight for his heavy past, but the freckled man considered this as a payback for all the suffering he had given to his victims….
“Kacchan, you’ve probably heard about the rumours but were you aware of my reputation before our meeting ?” The farmer asked with a hesitant tone, but his heart felt lighter after releasing the words that offered too much weight on his shoulders. It was too late to pretend he didn’t mean any of the things he’d said and prepared himself to get heartbroken, but his inner omega begged the reassuring figure to forgive a past that became survival instincts ….
“The angelic face that steals everyone's heart on the spot and leaves them broken at the end of his dreamy promises. I’ve heard a lot about you but never thought you were real, freckles,” he teased with a grin, ruffling the messy curls with a slow movement. Izuku’s face turned sadder at the comment, and Katsuki hoped he didn’t do anything wrong, and grabbed this second of inattention to move a lost curl behind the farmer's ears.
“So why are you staying by my side ?”
There was something heartbreaking in this trembling tone that made the prince understand the emergency of this innocent question. Katsuki couldn’t blame the freckled man for being afraid of abandonment when his past experiences with these idiots were summarized by selfish ideas. He quickly figured out how none of them portrayed Izuku as the victim of this story, and tended to describe him as a manipulator to reverse the situation to his advantage, but it’s not like their perspective was motivated by good intentions. The humiliated names deserved this treatment, and described the farmer as the ”son of the devil”, but Katsuki wouldn’t mind falling all over again for this corrupted heart, who already shared many sins with him.
The omega standing under his eyes wasn’t the same guy who tried to put his rival down, but denying this part of his past wasn’t unimportant either…Katsuki couldn’t put the blame on the man he loved when he had already killed many innocents on the battlefield and made deals with the devil when he was younger. They weren’t perfect but their worlds became one when they put their differences aside and offered a lighter perspective to a story that took its roots in fortunate happenstance…
“Because I like your company,” he replied with a comprehensive tone, noticing the surprise rising in the emerald eyes. Katsuki wanted to ask what kind of answer the nerd expected after this question, that seemed obvious to him, but was full of concerns for the omega’s version. “You’ve intrigued me when your eyes found mine in this barn, and I don’t necessarily enjoy the redundancy of my lonely castle. As crazy as it seems, I wouldn’t mind taking the risks to seal a part of my soul with yours…I also have an agreement that might be in your favor.”
“I’m all ears, your majesty,” the freckled man added with an attentive glance. His biased heart was already influenced by the romantic feelings established by their previous interactions, but the farmer read behind the lines and distinguished the honesty in the prince’s voice and the pleased tone behind this smirk. The golden-haired man pinched the omega’s nose, observing the tender blush on the freckled cheeks, and revealed a fond smile that erased Izuku’s previous worries.
“You got some skills that many men would kill to have after many years of training. Did you go to the war by coincidence ?” Katsuki asked with a knowing glance.
The prince was able to recognize another soldier who had been through hell, especially with the similar scars, painting a unique story. After all, every soul who faced the cruelty of the battlefield, became a changed man after this inhuman experience and stoleninnocence…but their biggest strength resided in the ability to live every single day as something new, instead of digging their own graves. Izuku and Katsuki looked similar in many ways, and the collapses of their words happened through the spying wind that spread the beginning of a sweet tale.
“Only once, but I left a part of my soul there,” he explained with a low tone, reflecting the weight of his past mistakes that took the darkest forms at night. Izuku was not older than fifteen when he assisted in his first and last war, being chosen out of despair by the ruler of his own lands, and returned with a paler expression on his face. The heartbreaking scenes he'd seen in this bloody theater occupied his nights, but a single glance at Katsuki’s face was enough to read how he wasn’t alone in this suffering. “I guess only a survivor is able to recognize one another but why is it so interesting in my case ?”
“Because I want you as my knight.”
An uncomfortable silence filled their previous conversation, with many questions residing at the tip of Izuku’s lips. His heart missed a beat at the crazy offer served on a silver platter, meant to happen once in a lifetime but something felt wrong. Don’t get him wrong, the freckled man recognized the sincerity in the alpha’s words, but the main source of struggle came from his inner demons, telling him how he wasn’t good enough to deserve such a title…
“Very funny, Kacchan-”
“I’m serious, Izuku…” the golden-haired man said, unconsciously grabbing the smaller wrist. Izuku’s eyes widened when he felt the warmth of Katsuki’s skin against his, accidentally catching a sensitive spot that made him more vulnerable than he already was. The blush on the alpha’s face proved how he was as surprised as him, and the shorter man had no other choice but to understand the reasoning behind this choice, even if this meant being mocked for his stupidity.
“But why ?” The tone in his voice was discreet, but delicate enough to reveal the vulnerability in his words. The golden-haired man recognized the hidden tears at the tip of Izuku’s eyes, and erased them with a gentle touch, cupping his cheeks with his slow thumbs against the porcelain skin while Izuku learnt into the touch.
“Because you are the wisest man I've seen,” praised the prince with a comprehensive tone. The green-haired man knew he wanted to stay a little longer in this connection between them and the future promises they hadn’t explored yet, but he was afraid. A part of him was scared of abandonment due to a mocking laugh from fate, stealing his only chance to get a happy ending. “You’ve already created a strong reputation with the most impressive skills, you’ve succeeded in letting the vultures pay for their selfishness, your strategy might be useful on the battlefield…and I also want to be selfish and spend more time with you.”
“Are you asking me out on a date, my king ?” Izuku teased with a smile, moving his head to catch the stunning crimson eyes looking at him with a confident look, falling a second time for this reassuring shadow by his side.
“Sounds like it,” confirmed the blond with a grin.
Katsuki didn’t know how to react to the new discoveries related to love, with a notion he hadn't explored before, but he was impatient to see Izuku Midoriya as the owner of this crazy adventure. The emerald eyes revealed a tender glance, leaving the previous touch on his heated cheeks and grabbing the calloused hands, interlacing their fingers together, relieved to be the hero of someone’s narrative.
“I should give it a try then,” whispered the green-haired man with a blush. He remained worried about the weight of his past mistakes and unseen obstacles, but the risk was worth the try if this meant being the reason behind the warm heat on each other’s cheeks.
—---
Katsuki Bakugo was a changed man and the bright grin at the tip of his lips became a tender scene for the intrigued eyes, who spied the moving shadow in the training spot. This affectionate scene took its origin after a small talk shared with Aizawa Shota, one of the best teachers of the lands, decided to take the omega under his wings about his practice.
The blond had a blind trust in this important figure of his past, ready to repeat the cycle with the smart Izuku Midoriya, who became an impressive student. Sure, the nerd accidentally lost control of the sword when he waved at the prince from afar with a cute smile, and got scolded by Aizawa for that, but the blond was touched by the gesture. He never thought he would be able to experience such happiness after a simple meeting that led him to steal a glance at the beautiful farmer, who stood in the crowd during his coronation as an official king. The weight of the golden crown and the new responsibilities with this role disappeared when his curious eyes searched for the proud emerald ones, holding back their tears with thumbs in the air.
Their first date happened on an autumn afternoon, with the recognizable shade that warmed their hearts and blessed their conversations. The castle was strangely quiet that day, and their two shadows were seen walking in the lost corridors to explore the area until they found their secret spot, away from the distant gossip. The nature of their relationship interested the maids and guards, who saw how the prince’s eyes sparkled every time the freckled man was around, especially during the omega’s coronation as an official knight.
This decision caused many debates about the role of an omega in this symbolic title, but Izuku and Katsuki knew they wouldn’t change anything in their story. Their discussion on the balcony was highlighted by the melodious chuckles of the omega, his shining emerald eyes, and the heat of their intertwined fingers. Their feelings became stronger through the weeks, and their teasing guided them to a close proximity that justified the first kiss they shared together, in front of the breathtaking landscape of a kingdom, that’ll become theirs soon. After all, Izuku and Katsuki didn’t question the warmth of their lips pressed together in this meaningful beginning, marked by a soft smile and blushing cheeks.
If the end of their first date echoed as a tender souvenir, the couple agreed to stay in a secret relationship. They both knew the kingdom would lose its mind about this illicit affair, and the moving shadows enjoyed their late-night escape to cuddle and wake up in each other’s arms in the early morning. For the first time in their lives, all their past mistakes transformed into fond memories, including the moment when their heart released the confessions that burned their lips too many times.
Their first “I love you”was exchanged during a moment of intimacy.
It became a habit to recognize the strong scene of their heat and ruts, leading to forbidden dance under the sheets: Together, they had the impression of being teenagers discovering the secrets of love, highlighted by their stolen smiles and kisses between two praises. That night, their intertwined hands met with a delicate grip, such as their heated skin and the addictive dance of their lips, singing a song portrayed as timeless vows. The forbidden desire that occupied their mind took the form of the most amazing dream they’ve ever seen, with the charming glance locking into the teary emerald ones, while praising a nickname that brought a smile to their faces.
Izuku Midoriya didn’t have any regrets about the decision to follow the man he loved in every universe, and naturally melted under the addictive touch when the blond was standing on top of him. The beauty of these golden spikes was marked by the sweat on the king’s forehead, the seductive grin at the tip of his lips was easily shouted down by the omega’s mouth against his, and the untouched skin was colored by fresh hickeys. This ocean of pleasure drowned their two souls into a sealed promise to cherish each other until death do them part, highlighted by an explicit "I love you”, between their heavy breaths.
The newly mated couple connected the dots of their sudden confessions during their aftercare and chose to repeat these words until tiredness took the lead. Since that day, the couple was inseparable, staying as long as possible in each other’s embrace, stealing precious confessions between two kisses, and admiring how their habits became a gentle ending to their stories, which started in the most innocent ways. Little did Izuku know how his devoted mate was wiser than him and had a certain idea in mind, until one of their training sessions became the center of a heartwarming confession that caught everyone’s attention.
It happened during a calm afternoon, but the only thing the omega remembered was the tease from his lover, who explained how he was fighting like a five-year-old child. Izuku pouted at the stupid comment, ready to put his rival down but a second of inattention painted the most beautiful proposal he had ever seen. The setting was beautiful enough to see the loving crimson eyes sharing their truths with a pretty ring at the palm of his hands, exclaiming out loud how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with his “favorite idiot”.
The freckled man’s vision became blurry from the tears, accepting the proposition after the last two years of secret affairs. The king ignored all the propositions of the concubine, and returned to his daily routine, even if this decision wasn’t pleasing to everyone. The only thing that mattered was the bright smile on his mate’s face when he rested inside his arms and praised their matching rings, excited about their controversial union. Mitsuki and Masaru accepted this marriage and even invited the omega’s parents, who turned out to be old friends of the royal couple!
Six months later, the entire kingdom was reunited to celebrate the union of King Katsuki, and his new queen, Izuku. The legends described this day as a great revival for the lands, with the reveal of the omega who charmed everyone with his kindness, and the sweet glance of their king, who looked more than amazed by the person standing by his side. Inko and Hisahi congratulated the lovers for their tender union, and wished for the best, even if Inko threatened the king if he broke her baby’s heart. Katsuki mumbled a low “I promise” under the amused emerald eyes, who held the blond closer, resting his head against his shoulders.
—----
Life at the castle was pretty calm after that.
Katsuki was sent on different missions from time to time, but he made sure to return home where his queen impatiently awaited him with a bright smile. Izuku was known as the protective figure who took care of the disadvantaged situation and protected the man he loved when necessary, while proving how an omega was able to handle multiple roles despite the rumors around his “cursed title”. The blond couldn’t be prouder to see how the kind stranger he met by accident became the pillar of his life, and always found a way to surprise him…even with the unforgettable announcement of his pregnancy, one year after their union.
That night, the couple rested in their bed with stolen kisses when the scarred hands gently moved their intertwined fingers in the nonexistent belly. Katsuki gently followed with a tease, mentioning the recent changes in his omega’s scent, until the freckled man explained how the answers resided at the palm of his hand. The king connected the dots about the happy event and welcomed the tears of happiness falling down his cheeks, holding the scarred hands tighter. The following months were the toughest for the freckled man and his overprotective mate, who made sure to limit the use of sharp weapons and keep the man he loved safe, even if Izuku became pouty about this "useless protection”.
He never expected to see the stubborn king being so devoted to the different stages of his pregnancy, but Izuku knew he would forever cherish the bonding moment between the three of them. His heart will never forget the tender souvenirs of his husband talking to the round belly with a sweet tone, explaining how the “brat” inside this comfortable bubble better have their dam’s grace. The extra care made by the blond appeased the omega in the ups and downs concerning his pregnancy, especially when the sweaty palm held the scarred ones in the birth process. This situation was scarier than they expected, but the kisses and praises shared by the king toward his mate were enough to give courage to the exhausted omega, who released his last push as the strongest fight of his life.
However, everything changed when the silent room was filled with the magnificent tears of a newborn. The teary eyes of the royal couple after this delicate sound were described as a tender detail in this breathtaking scene, where the tiny pup resided in the arms of the trembling omega. The calloused hands found the queen’s wrist, who felt the reassuring scent by his side, and the fragility of this child, who became the most important person in their lives. Izuku smiled at how beautiful the princess residing by his side looked, inheriting from the same shade of blond as her father, with emerald eyes and freckles on her chubby cheeks: She was the most beautiful girl the couple had ever seen, and the sound of her cries already shattered their hearts, covering her with kisses and explaining how she was safe.
Hana Bakugo changed their entire lives.
The princess, born in this union of true love, was adored by everyone in the castle: Her grandparents stayed glued to her, the guards welcomed the princess’s baby step, and the maids adored her laugh, considering the existence of their firstborn as an unexpected miracle. The stubborn king who left the political appointment with a frown, replaced his nasty look with a smile when he noticed their daughter trying to walk toward him with her mumbles, and an amused Izuku, who had previously ran after her. The roles were also reversed when Katsuki took the time to hold his princess and show her the practice of the strong omega, hearing the light whispers about how amazing her dam was, with the sparkling glance on Hana’s face.
The small pup, who shortened their nights, grew up in the blink of an eye: Every birthday was celebrated with joy, she received the prettiest dress, and wouldn’t wish for better parents. The princess easily sneaked into the couple’s chamber to stay in their embrace after a terrible nightmare, falling asleep with their protective scents and kisses in her curls, explaining how she was safe by their side. Hana became the jewel of these lands, especially with a strong dam, ready to fight for her safety, and an amazing father who always reassured her after a bad dream.
Hana insisted on being as powerful as her parents and even assisted Izuku’s training.
Katsuki smirked when the angry pup scolded Aizawa for hurting her dam, leading her to give a “magical kiss” on omega’s cheeks, before receiving a strong hug from her dam, explaining how it was a part of his job. The king had to adjust his family time with his royal duties, but he admired how their princess always hung out with Izuku, protecting him with her wooden stick and repeating the gestures made by the older teacher with her focused glance. The couple couldn’t wish for a better routine, and held each other with a warm embrace every night, whispering how much they love each other, and their beloved daughter. Katsuki was the perfect father for Hana’s sensitive soul, and Izuku was the most supportive mother for the tears that ruined her pretty face.
Unfortunately, this happiness took a dark turn when the news fell over the lands, bringing them to a tragic reality.
The orders came from an older king respected by his peers and a man of trust for the Bakugo dynasty: The older king explained how he needed the best soldiers and knights of the surrounding countryside to assist in the most important conflicts of the decade, meant to appease all the lands once and for all. Some names were requested… and Katsuki Bakugo was one of them, to the shock of his loved ones. The freckled man was terrified by the idea of losing the man he loved in terrible conditions, and insisted on being the one to make the sacrifice of his own life, even if the blond scolded him for his stupidity. The confirmation of this important change in the war brought a tense atmosphere in this castle, preparing for the worst of goodbyes. After all, the conflicts were known for taking many lives on the spot, and an entire kingdom would mourn the loss of someone as brilliant as Izuku Bakugo midoriya, even if giving up wasn’t an option.
It didn’t take long before hearing the heartbroken princess rushing into their chamber with teary eyes, explaining how she didn’t want her dam to leave her alone. The poor princess was only 5 years old and held the omega as close as possible, just like Katsuki, who felt the trembling body of his mate. It’s been years since Izuku experienced something as cruel as war, but he never thought he would be afraid of leaving his family behind for a conflict that would separate them for so long. The green-haired man kissed his daughter’s curls and made the pinky promise to return home, even if nothing was fully confirmed, much to their displeasure.
The preparation for this terrible event plunged the castle into anxiety due to the queen’s departure, and his family tried to pretend a little longer, even if their sadness was contagious.
The night before the final goodbye, Izuku and Katsuki made love as if it was the last time, they cherished their sweaty hands intertwined together, the tender “I love you”, and kept the promise to never leave each other in this lifetime. The freckled man couldn’t help but smile, stealing his husband’s lips with a soft whisper, and held the taller figure tighter: The stranger he met at this farm transformed his life into a series of things he would’ve never thought possible, even if their wedding and their daughter’s birth were the most valuable treasures he got from this temporary happiness. The calloused hands returned the gesture, kissing his messy curls and promising to wait for his return, even if the distance already acted like thousands of sharp blades in the chest.
After their aftercare and vulnerable tears whipped away by the affectionate fingers on their skin, the couple decided to make a good waste of their last time together with their daughter. Izuku and Katsuki used their secret code to knock on the princess’s room, until her heartbreaking sobs caught their attention and forced their eyes to meet. Their bodies moved on their own as they kept hugging each other and kissing the blonde curls, accepting to sacrifice their previous hours of sleep, knowing the omega won’t be able to see the people he loved in a very long time….
——-
Years later,
The somber atmosphere started to surround these lands, used by the grey ashes that shared the gentle tale in the isolated room, that faced the worst of crime. The news caught everyone off guard, and the Mustafu kingdom was mourning the loss of their beloved rulers, fading with the last whispers of the wind against their subjects' ears.
The history described the great and unreachable Katsuki Bakugo as an important figure, representing a source of pride for his loved ones, and inspiration for the youngest who considered him their symbol of heroism. The number of victories and achievements he accumulated during his lifetime was nothing compared to the ethereal love he kept for his lifetime partner, who paid for the terrible trick of fate, the same one that brought them together in the first place.
Izuku Midoriya will never forget the man who owned his heart until his final breath, even if death had to do them part with silent tears and a last smile on their faces. The heat of a warm hand faded away, transformed into a sensation of emptiness inside a broken heart, until the last ruler of these beloved lands, let himself die. Many whispers who saw the freckled man before his deathbed affirmed how his radiant smile became a series of bags under his eyes, hidden tears, and pale colors that took the lead over this bright painting that used to highlight everyone’s day.
The rumors about the indelible bond between Katsuki Bakugo and his husband were proven right when Izuku handling all his pain on his own, and closed his eyes for the final time in a chamber that used to bring him the best of souvenirs, beside an empty side, reserved for the ghost of his lover. The familiar figures standing next to him in his last moment echoed as the traces the couple left on their lives, with two wonderful children who looked like their deceased father, and their protective dam. The small heads who ran in the castle became older enough to understand how some enemies were stronger than others, but never denied the tears falling down their cheeks when they stood by Izuku’s side until his final pulse.
The entire kingdom mourned their loss with their best wishes for the afterlife and next reincarnation, while the air still transcribed the last words shared by the royal couple in their final breath, now reunited for an eternal peace.
The funeral was prepared with the best of care to honor the souls, who marked history with their unique tale, stolen by death in the most heartbreaking way. The people working in the castle were nostalgic of the numerous echoes of stolen laughter in the corridors, hidden handholds, or sweet glances shared between this couple, who swore that death couldn't tear them apart. Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo were inseparable, and the least this kingdom could do was to give them a timeless honor with the indelible traces they’ve left during their lives, and the historical change made by their reign.
The dead silence in this castle, now occupied by lost spirits, lost all its charm.
The cold stone on the walls reminded the beloved graves residing in the secret garden, a tender place cherished by the couple and visited by their children. The air became intoxicating due to the nostalgia that dictated the redundant habits that lost all their meaning, and the discreet glance toward a room that contained the weight of deceased souls. The atmosphere was more uncomfortable than the light breath escaping their lips, but the echoes of footsteps became the only sound filling the void in their chest, conscious about the symbolism that resonated in the rooms that welcomed the precious memories of the deceased couple.
The background noises of an open door broke the previous silence, reflecting the dust that covered the last relic of a wooden desk, marked by time. The atmosphere in this room was strange and almost comforting for the figures, who felt a sudden wave of nostalgia, almost like the last members of the royal couple remained here. It wasn’t a surprise knowing how Izuku spent most of his time here after his husband’s death, and had the secret activities that kept him alive a little longer….
The maids and guards who saw this downfall were touched by the gesture of the two shadows, who wanted to honor the names that forever marked their narratives. The blonde-haired woman shared a simple nod with her birther, who inherited the crimson eye of their dad and the freckled cheeks of their dam. Haru moved closer to the desk, untouched for months, remembering how it took them a long time before accepting to revisit this isolated room, remembering the warm souvenirs of their youth, and the distant laugh, if not praises, of their parents. Their fingers touched the old wood that, somehow, kept its beauty over the years, and they started to explore the drawbar to search for more memories to celebrate. Haru’s eyes brightened when she successfully found the hints she was looking for, calling for Hana’s help until their faces widened at the unexpected treasure near their reach.
A hundred, if not thousands of letters, resided here, with the delicate handwriting of the royal couple at the center of the envelope. The two siblings held their breath and started to establish the circumstances for such traces, figuring out how Izuku and Katsuki kept their secret exchanges over the years, starting from their first meetings, to the unsent letters written by the green-haired man before his death. It didn’t take long to connect the dots and wondered if they deserved to keep this treasure hidden for the sake of the royal couple’s privacy, but the content of these letters might probably be a good memorial for this love and the timeless vows they’ve kept until their deathbed.
Hana had always been the most sensitive one in their family dynamic, a common point she shared with her little brother, who held back his tears. After all, it’s the least they could do to return all the unconditional love shared by their parents since their birth, who never gave up on them. They both shared a nod, taking a deep breath: If their parents were still alive, they would’ve probably been alright with this idea, especially when the indelible form of their love remained transcribed into the golden ink that sealed the comma to each story told in this unexplored content. The two figures couldn’t start from the beginning, despite their need to discover the touching romance, but a specific date caught their attention, recalling how the event of this war forged a no-return point in the kingdom.
According to the distant whispers, the beginning of this war forced a decision that broke many families apart. Haru wasn’t born yet, but Hana remembered the moment when her world fell apart this terrible morning with the teary eyes of the queen, disappearing in the landscape. After all, the ghosts of their parents and stolen confessions still occupied the walls of this haunted castle…
——-
“Dear Katsuki Bakugo,
I don’t usually start my letter with your complete name, mostly because it gives me the strange sensation of addressing you as someone else when you’re still the same man who held me closer in the morning and left your mark with a good luck kiss, but I'm afraid this precious piece of paper will eventually get lost on the road. This situation already caught us off guard and being unable to receive the warmth of your answers makes me afraid of the idea of surviving another day in this atmosphere that differs from the familiarity of our chamber.
When we got married, I made the timeless vows to think about you every time we grow apart, no matter if this situation was led by fate, or unfortunate circumstances. I never thought that my sensitive heart would already miss the casualty of your stupid tease and charming smirks, but I'm already longing for the sensation of your arms wrapped around mine, in a place I often described as my home. This new environment isn’t as comfortable as the bedsheet of our room, and the light breeze, spread the tender whispers of your voice that often guided my soul to stay a little longer in my imagination, but I've heard we’re getting closer to our final destination, hoping it won’t be the last place where i’ll picture the echoes of your voice.
Take care of the land for me, and I’ll promise to return home as soon as possible, with the hope to receive an answer very soon… - With love, Izuku.”

“Dear Izuku Midoriya,
I received your letter in great terms and couldn’t be more relieved to know none of these vultures tried to attack the soldiers on the way. I’ve had the confirmation about you and the soldiers reaching the location in complete safety, even if this doesn’t stop me from being constantly worried about the next idea that crosses your mind, but I trust you for the rest of this journey.
Ruling the kingdom on my own feels strange without you, it brought me back to a past that disappeared when you became the pillar of this narrative, which became my favorite. I’ve never been a good poet to transcribe the weight of my words into this precious piece of paper, but a part of me sincerely hoped that you would leave with the promise that survive the worst of crimes and obstacles. A few days had passed since you looked at me with these charming sparkling eyes, confessing the gentle melody of a song our hearts had already mesmerized a thousand times, and I’m already sensing the bittersweet distance between us.
All those years of marriage to admit a secret I should've confessed earlier, but the nostalgia and empty side of the bed made me more vulnerable than I already was. The first time I’ve ever said “I love you” before hearing the tender words from your lips, wasn’t the moment where my heart fell for you…How stupid of me to reveal this sweet truth on paper, but I recalled the delirious whispers describing me as a crazy soul for putting his guard down in front of the devil, who took the form of the prettiest man I’ve ever seen.
I’ve always been afraid of commitment, but I’ll never forget the innocent soul I met during a summer afternoon, with his freckled cheeks and emerald eyes, brighter than any midnight sky. You didn’t know anything about me or the rest of this story, but you found the time to look back at me with this charming glance that stole my heart on the spot. I fell in love the moment you introduced your name and opened my heart to new possibilities I haven’t considered before…and thousands of “thank you” wouldn’t be enough to show my delight about this crazy narrative.
Don’t cry over some words written with old ink, this obstacle is a temporary bother before being reunited again. I think Shitty Hair and Pinky are already tired of listening to my lonely days, but it would be a lie to not return the last compliment you’ve made in your letter - With the hope to let the breeze steal my prayers for your safety, Katsuki Bakugo.”
—-----
“Dear Kacchan,
The days are harder when the only song that caresses your ears is the weight of your own breath, and the nights are even longer without the presence of the ghost touch that usually guides me to sleep. The general authorized us to receive the replies to our previous communication once we finished the plan against the first opponent, waiting for our arrival. Something happened when I heard my name in the cold breeze and held the fragile paper against my chest, holding back tears that probably came too early before the discovery of its content.
I would’ve never guessed that the time between our two letters would be this long, but I was brought home, beside your warmth, when my eyes found the delicate ink that transcribed your love. My heart and soul made sure to mesmerize each word and ruffled the form of your words, and made me emotional about a distance that didn’t seem like one each time your writing met mine. I’ve read your lines and admired them like a writer with the muse of his next creation, and I fall for your vows that are sealed into light commas and nostalgia.
I admire your courage for confessing such truths, especially when I'm proud to consider the author of these words as the most inspiring person and the hero of my narrative. Many people would’ve lost their minds if they intercepted our exchange, especially when you owned the reputation of an unreachable leader, but I should return the gesture by sharing another secret of mine. According to history, I fell for you during our wedding when we sealed our timeless vows, but my soul immediately knew you would be the missing piece I've been looking for, for so long…
That day, when your eyes met mine, I knew I needed to make you mine in this lifetime. We didn’t even know the fate awaiting us, but the chemistry was immediate, from the moment your hands locked into mine, in these few seconds that lasted hours for my heart. My dear, I have so many stories to confess under the midnight sky once I get back to your side, but the wait is worth the try.
In complete honesty, the news brightened the chests of many of the soldiers and gave us a reason to keep fighting despite our divergent stories, with a common goal to end this conflict as soon as possible. I haven’t shared any of my inner struggles with our friends yet, but I'm concerned about the surprise that awaited us outside this place, with unknown settings and locations that played in our favor. We’ve both self-conscious about the next scenery and inevitable loss awaiting the army in the next days, but stepping back is useless when we've all sealed our fate the moment we reach this battlefield.
I’m afraid of leaving this world with a final letter, but I know you’ll always find a way to reply and keep an eye on me. - With love, Izuku.”
—------
“My dear Izuku,
Congratulations on your first victory in this tough mission.
The news was delivered earlier this morning, and I couldn’t help but write to you as soon as I heard the whispers from the leaves in the garden, and the excitement in town. My poor mind started to forget the vestiges of the cruel battlefield, and I wished I could be there to make sure you haven’t sacrificed your life to play the hero of someone else's story, when you’re already the one in mine.
The lands are celebrating the news with their loved ones, unaware of the darkest aspect of these words.
My first intuition would be to take some news about your state and your mindset, but I'm afraid the recency of this event might offer difficult answers on this piece of paper. The last nights have been marked by sleepless dreams and unreachable names escaping my lips after the confessions, written with this golden ink. My mind couldn't concentrate on the imaginary pictures of your ghost, influenced by the symbolism of the jewel residing on your finger, and the echoes of my heartbeat, recalling the family of this silent melody….
My relief was more than high after hearing about your latest achievement, hoping you’ll be able to reply to this fragile gift, considerate as a way to support you in this journey. You’ve mentioned the familiarity of this scenery, and my heart is so afraid of describing the redundancy in the next fights that’ll mark history. As long as you stand alive to read a single comma of my letter, I’ll make sure to remind you of the reason for your courage that inspired many people in the lands.
Stay safe and get enough rest, I'm impatiently waiting for your next letter. - With love, Kacchan.”
—------
“Kacchan,
Your reply came right in time to undo the damage of the previous fight, which cost the loss of our first victims. The battlefield was rougher than usual, the loud curses mixed with the sharp weapons that met the chest of our opponent, but this dangerous dance succeeded in proving the strength of our group. Everyone here is fighting for their lives, loved ones, and the narratives they wish to protect before their last breath. All the men standing by my side are vulnerable souls who have moments of weakness, but the proximity between the familiar faces made their reassuring words more comfortable, even if nothing could erase the wasted blood on our broken palms.
In this cruel world where death might steal us away in the blink of an eye, the moment of joy has become rare. Many of my friends described this blurry notion as something unique to their stories, and mine is the feeling of your golden words against this piece of paper, pressed against my chest. Loneliness is a tough rival in the darkest days, but my soul recalled the confessions written for a cursed heart, which you succeed to charm with a simple smile and an unforgettable name.
None of us could predict the next conflicts or the shadows buried in the honorific cemetery, but the only thing we can do is survive. Being alive is a miracle many of us cherish more than any treasure they’ve received until now, but this journey isn’t over and the worst is about to come…We need to stay prepared for any eventualities.
I miss you every single day, and know you’re doing a great job to take care of our lands and daughter from afar. Would it be naive to write another “I love you” in this trace of our exchange,? The answer is all yours….I can’t wait to read your next prose. - With love, Izuku.”
—------
“Dear Izuku,
You’re not the only one patiently waiting for answers that brighten your days, especially with this cruel distance between us. I bet your nights are as lonely as mine, and the stars already heard the unreachable name escaping your lips in your desperate attempts to reach for a missing half…who receive the signs too late. I would rather be a longing soul in the unknown, than a shadow of your past who existed through ashes and forgotten words, but I'll never get tired of the unconditional affection you’ve transcribed into timeless promises.
I’ve heard from our commandant about the next location on your road, and I'm almost envious of the landscapes you’ll discover, even if this is pretty naive from the king who already knows the horrors of this world. I hope you and the rest of the army are safe, even if my words will probably reach you once you reach your destination, with the blessing of keeping you alive a little longer.
The days are getting longer here, with the distant echoes of your laugh and the warmth of your hand, that unconsciously reached mine in the most desperate dreams. The nights are lonelier than I’ve ever thought, but giving up isn’t an option when a longing heart is hoping for a miracle when our daughter is asking me every day about your return. She’s become sadder since your departure and tried to cover her tears with the fake smile of yours, but our brat is a strong one…At least that’s what I tell her every night when she’s holding me closer.
It would be unfair to conclude this exchange with a lack of answers concerning the main question that warmed my heart, despite the distance between us. You asked me if selfishness should be considered a crime in this corrupted world, when it became the pillar of my achievement, and the main reason why I decided to stay with you on this farm, which wrapped the welcoming aura of your bright smiles and flushed cheeks. The first time you said these words transformed this naive tale into an unforgettable one, and we both know that you could write thousands of “I love you”, and I’ll still fall for each of them.
Your reputation might’ve preceded you, but the man who broke the hearts of many people disappeared the moment he opened his to mine. I would rather spend an entire lifetime retelling the beauty of your smiles that transcribed into our daughter’s face, than say my last goodbye to this world without a final confession.
I love you too, freckles, but make sure to keep your head on your shoulders and come back to us. I hope we’ll be able to meet soon in our dreams… - With love, Kacchan.”
—--
“My beloved,
I shouldn’t be surprised to hear about the latest information crossing your impatient ears, especially when mine are always intrigued by the numerous topics in my surroundings. You should’ve seen how my face turned into a smile after reading the last words of your letter, reminding me of the treasures awaiting me at home, despite the heartbreak I’ve caused to the people I love.
If you have the time, could you show this letter to our daughter and let her read the next part, because the next words are dedicated to her.
Hana , sweetheart…If you hold this fragile piece of paper in your hand, this means your dad succeeded in putting his stubbornness aside and let us have an important talk. There’s not a single day passing by that I don’t think about you and how terrible it must be to grow up without someone you love by your side, but this is not a final goodbye, only a temporary one. Sometimes, adults had to face decisions they wouldn’t choose in the first place, but their desire to protect their family remained stronger than any obstacles that crossed their paths.
I miss you, I miss your sweet tone when you asked me to share a bedtime story, I miss the warmth of your tiny arms wrapped around me, and I miss the way you look like the man I love in every lifetime. I don’t like this situation where a part of my soul is separated from my home, but whatever happened out there, nothing could tear us apart. The bad guy won’t always win, and you saved me from many injuries with your magical kisses on the cheeks, I hope I’ll be able to feel them in the next answer. I love you, and I miss you so much…but stay strong and keep your father safe. Kacchan can be tough, but he’s as scared as you to receive bad news that’ll never happen.
(Could you give the rest of the letter to your dad please? Thanks in advance sweetheart, and give him a big hug, he always loves it when you tell him a bedtime story.)
I hope I'm addressing my husband and not the curious eyes of our daughter, but if it’s the case, the rest of this exchange is for you. You should feel a little envious about the different paintings that drew themselves under my eyes, but we both know that this peace is only an illusion before ruining this scenery with blood and lifeless bodies. These moments of rest are the most important, and the enemy awaiting us in the next few days remains a complete mystery to solve, but as you said…giving up isn’t an option.
I can’t be the strongest soldier, but I’m trying until the very last breath that escaped my trembling lips. Some nights are harder than others, but I need to confess about the reason behind my inconsolable dreams that tear my soul apart. Until now, I’ve always pushed the darkness aside to find courage in your arms and gentle praises, but loneliness took advantage of my vulnerable state and convinced me of a fate worse than death.
No matter how hard I tried, I kept picturing you falling for someone else when I'm out of reach, sleeping in their arms the same way you did with me, and giving them the fond glance that caught my heart in the first place. Chasing them away became useless, a waste of time to be honest, so I accepted this heart-wrenching scene with bitter tears on my skin in the early morning. The face of my opponent remained blurry, but distinct enough to catch the malicious smirk on their lips after taking advantage of you in moments of vulnerability.
In these nightmares, I picture this stranger replacing me, stealing our daughter’s heart, and being a better dam than I'll ever be. I imagine Hana calling this person by a fond nickname that used to be mine, falling asleep in their arms, and forgetting about me. Every night, I saw her growing up with a ghost of her past….and it’s killing me in a way a stab couldn’t hurt more than my own thoughts It hurt more than a thousands of bleeding injuries, to imagine my daughter replacing me with someone else after my death, and seeing you falling out of love for me, after everything we’ve been through.
Some of the friends I’ve made in the last weeks asked the reason behind my grey face and teary eyes, but I never told them the truth. You’re the first person who’s fully aware of the situation my poor heart is enduring every time the midnight stars become complete darkness, and I’m tired. I’m tired of thinking about the ending of a story that has so many surprises, I’m exhausted to wake up with a broken heart and a fear of being replaced.
I know you mean every word in your letters, but could you…Could you write them down for me all over again? My apologies for not ending this letter with a positive affirmation, but I need your help more than anything. - With love, Izuku.”
—-
“Dear Izuku Midoriya, I love you.
I love your stupid smile that stole the hearts of many people, but succeeded in transforming mine into the prettiest treasure of this kingdom. The way your lips often open to release the melodious songs of your laugh against my sensitive ears, ready to drown in each of them, despite recognizing every prose of this timeless poem.
I love the way your face is as breathtaking as a painting that kept the brightest details to the exposed eyes, but the most meaningful ones for the curious souls, who read between the lines…until they adore this work of art. I love the way your lips often tremble in anticipation before a medical visit since our daughter’s birth, almost like you’re wishing for another miracle to happen. I adore the way your eyes sparkle with excitement when you’re amazed by something in your surroundings, especially when it comes to our daughter, and her mumbles.
I admire so many things about your souls that an entire lifetime won’t be enough to transcribe the strength of my confessions into this piece of paper but I know one thing….I’m convinced that my heart will always be yours. The first time we met, we both felt this strange sensation inside our chest, the one connecting our souls despite this fortunate happenstance, but I know I’ve already fallen in love with you thousands of times in the past. It’s impossible to remember, but I’m glad every Katsuki Bakugo succeeded in finding happiness by their Izuku Midoriya’s side, and today, it’s my turn to write this story you’ve left incomplete since your departure.
I fell for you so many time that i stopped to count: The moment our eyes met, the moment you said you first “i love you”, the breathtaking vows at the altar, the moment you’ve held our newborn inside your arms with such pride, and the way you praise Hana’s progress with the most beautiful smile i’ve ever seen. My words might be futile for a naive spirit, but I know they’ll resonate with you, and heal your broken heart, because I would rather raise Hana on my own than fall for someone else and forget about my other half.
I’ll be forever grateful to have chosen you as my mate and the dam of my child, who covered her with such unconditional love. The first time she read your message, she couldn’t stop crying and asked me to read it again until she regained the smiles she had previously lost! You should’ve seen the way Hana talked about you being the best dam on the battlefield, kicking everyone’s ass and praying for your safety every night before falling asleep. She even tried to train her writing to send her own letters to you in order to keep the bad guy away, there's no way our brat will ever forget about you!
You are amazing the way you are, as a farmer, knight, mate, and owner of my heart…never forget how loved you are. The distance is a tough obstacle, but you’re Izuku Bakugo Midoriya, the wise farmer who trapped the vicious souls, became my biggest pride, and the man I’ll love in every lifetime. -With love, your husband.”
—--
“My love,
It’s been a few days since my last letter, but things took an unexpected turn, and this time, I'm the one who needs your help. I don’t even know where to start, but I can’t stay in the blur for too long, or I'll feel guilty for putting you in a mess I never planned in the first place…
As you expected, things aren’t always easy here, Hana and I patiently await your response like the golden vows shared on the altar. Each of your replies comforted the sadness in her sparkling eyes and made her believe in something magical until reality caught her off guard with some unplanned obstacles. Last night I heard her sobbing in silence in her room, covering her tears on the pillow and holding the last scented object you gave to her before your departure. It’s not the first time I’ve seen her being so vulnerable to the darkness of the night, but itwas different…
I’ve questioned her about the reason for these nasty tears on her face, but she explained how she wanted to feel your scent again. The king with a hundred powers at the palm of his hands due to his title, dissipated when he felt the weight of the shaking figure inside his arms, calling a name that was out of reach. Shit, I felt powerless in front of this scene and held her while she calmed her breath and stayed against my chest… until she felt comfortable enough to reveal the content of her nightmares.
The last few weeks, she’s been the target of the vicious whispers who transformed her biggest fears into a reality. She always returned to my bed and cuddled me in the early morning, whispering how much she missed you, and she’s not the only one. Unfortunately, there’s nothing much I can do except promise her a safe return about something I’m not even sure of, but the safety of our family is my main priority, no matter the kilometers separating us. Hana started to mention her past dreams about the letter of your death, the funeral, or even the idea of seeing you never returning home at all. My heart was shattered at this vulnerable position, but the last night…she described the most horrible dream I’ve ever heard.
In her imagination, you were drowning in your own blood with the ashes of the army, defeated by the enemy. The sharp weapons found their way inside the lifeless bodies, marked by their final fight and I was there too. I was standing in the background with blood all over me and a last breath shared toward her petrified shadow, who kept begging for help. Shit…Thinking about this made me angrier than ever for not acting earlier and keeping her by my side. I can’t even imagine the idea of picturing our daughter being on her own, but despite my attempts to reassure her and the small smiles she made in our embraces, I feel like I don’t deserve this status of father.
I don’t have the ability to control the lands and my family at the same time, I can't stop a war from happening and one second of inattention might be the start of my downfall. My name is only related to the crowdnover my head, not the man you’ve married and the father of your child, i’m not able to make her smile as you do or pretend everything is fine when it’s not. The last time, I even teared up our conversation, and she was the one comforting me with magical kisses on the cheeks, when the roles should be reversed.
I don’t know what to do, how to act, and the way to bring our daughter back. There are nights when I don’t know how to calm her, I wish you were here to find the right words. Damn, you should’ve seen her, she was trembling as the day she was born and I felt bad for being such an asshole…I know I'm not a bad father, but there are darker days when I wonder if I’m good enough for this role, despite the unconditional love I vowed to her since her first cries.
Everything feels empty without you by our side, even in the most desperate moments where a single glimpse of your smile could bring dead people back to life. I’ve always been proud of the newborn that changed our entire world, but I’m not perfect and only want her protection. I’m scared of not being enough….Tell me, Izuku, what should I do to make her happy again? - Katsuki.”

“ Kacchan,
I’m sincerely sorry to hear about the series of obstacles you’re facing on the other side, and my biggest wish is to stand by your side in these moments of vulnerability. I couldn’t be happier to read the confessions in your letter and remember why I fell in love with you in the first place, and it’s my time to support you from afar. I wish we could have this conversation in better circumstances, but I won’t let you and our family down…
Let me tell you a story: Everything started with a simple meeting at a lost farm, the owners offered kindness to their only son, ready to share this charm with this breathtaking stranger that crossed his path by accident. Their differences became a strength, a powerful tool to create the most inspiring story of the decade, which led to the result of their love, taking the name of Hana Bakugo Midoriya. The prince I met that day on my farm is the same man who covered me with joy and offered me the best treasure we could ever have: a legacy.
I’ve fallen in love with you for many titles, and father is one of them. My love, I knew you would’ve made an amazing dad the night you mentioned the idea of expanding our love with a few more heads running in the castle. You are a kind and devoted lover, even if I never had the time to thank you for giving me the prettiest daughter…Hana needs someone to hold on in this complicated period, just like you, so why don’t you choose to be her biggest hero when she’s already ours?
Her vulnerability isn’t a curse, but an amazing strength, envied by many. There are so many things to praise about our firstborn, but she has not learnt all of these by herself: she took inspiration from the closest people in her life, the ones who held her with so much care and affection, until her world was built with nothing but reassurance.
Katsuki Bakugo, you are an amazing father, the best I’ve ever seen and your daughter loves you more than anyone in this world. You are her partner figure, the stranger who became the most important of her life, who supported her at her lowest and kissed her cheeks during the complicated nights. You should see the way Hana described you as the best guy that inspired her to be as strong as her family, even if she inherited your stubbornness. Being a parent is a harder task, probably more complicated than ruling a kingdom, but it doesn’t make it less unforgettable. Every moment spent together is highlighted by the gentleness of her smiles, her chubby hands cupping our cheeks, and her “I love you” that brightened the darkest blur in our lives.
Listen to me, you are the best father I could ever ask for my child, and Hana needs you the same way we all do: Our subjects, your parents, and us…I also miss holding both of you, but I know one day our old life will be possible, and everything will be fine. Don’t doubt about the thousands of narratives you haven’t observed yet, and make sure to stay by her side, it’s the only thing she needs with this emptiness in our lives.
You are Katsuki Bakugo the ruler, Kacchan the man I love, and a father, loved by his family…and will always be. - With all my affection, freckles.”

“Sweetheart,
This letter is exclusively for you and your little nose, who loves to observe the world in your surroundings. Keep this precious gift close to your heart and use it as a bedtime story when you need a shoulder to cry on..But to my knowledge, today is an important day right? I can already see the excited smile and adorable blush on your face after the last words, and it would be cruel of me to forget an event as important as your birthday.
Five years ago, the kingdom celebrated an important change: the birth of their first princess and the heir of this unexpected marriage between two people who don’t belong in the same world. I still remember the moment I heard your first cries, being as charming as the unexplored tales, and heartbreaking as the obstacles we haven’t faced yet. You were so fragile, resting in my arms like a piece of paper able to be stolen by the wind, but the weight on my skin reminded me how life was as fragile as a leaf leaving the tree. Your father will certainly describe this moment as the one where he fell in love with me for the umpteenth time, when my heart was already captivated by the fragility of your cries.
You, Hana Bakugo Midoriya, were the prettiest pup I've ever seen. Kacchan and I couldn’t be happier to feel you by our side, watch you grow in the blink of an eye, and brighten our world with your laugh. There are so many things and memories I want to share with you, but this letter might be too long for a bedtime story! I’m sincerely sorry for not being here during your 6th birthday, but you need to know how I keep thinking about you day and night, with the excitement to hold you in my arms again. I can’t wait to kiss your cheeks and listen to all the great stories made with Kacchan during my absence, but let’s make a secret deal between us….
Your dad is stressed by the last months after my departure, but he needs a lot of hugs and magical kisses to feel better. Kacchan will probably say he wouldn’t mind the gestures, but I know he secretly wished to feel you in his arms, with the adorable tone you use when you’re excited about something. Your father is very sad about a few adult things, but you can be his biggest hero by holding him close at night, sharing bedtime stories, and standing by his side when he needs you the most.
Sweetie, you are so loved and adored by everyone, never forget who supported you at your lowest, and the effort made by your surroundings to erase the nasty tears on your cheeks. I also heard you’re trying to write letters to talk with me? I’m excited to receive them, I bet they’re amazing! I truly miss you and I promise to give you the best birthday gift when we meet again, but only if you don’t reveal our pinky promise to your dad.
Happy birthday, I love you, so much. Stay safe and make Kacchan happy. - With love, mom.”
—
“Dear Izuku Midoriya,
It’ll probably be late when you receive this letter, but your presence is still reassuring in the silence of this lonely castle. Sometimes, I can still hear the fast walk of two lovers who tried to sneak out to steal a kiss and make out against the wall, even if their echoes as a strong reminder of our past.
Today, Hana and I prepared a cake with an extra candle on the top, to remember your presence by our side. The brat was too curious and almost burned her finger, but quickly forgot about the pain when she discovered the taste of the birthday cake. You should’ve seen how happy she looked since you wrote her a letter as a birthday gift, she regained her smile and even started to hug me more…I asked if this change of behavior was related to some crazy request made by you, but she insisted on ‘playing the adult while you’re gone”.
We should probably talk about it once you return home, but today is a special day. There are a hundred ways to wish a happy birthday, but my wish for this special event is to hold you by my side again. I know this is not the best way to spend such an important day on the battlefield, but you’ve got our support from afar with the wishes made upon the stars. I missed you, more than anything, but I know you’ll return home and we’ll catch the lost time together….
Happy Birthday, freckles. I love you, and stay safe. - With love, Kacchan.”
—----
“My love, my sincere apologies for the tone of this letter, different from the others.
I did receive the birthday wish from you and Hana, and teared up at the kindness residing behind your words. I’m trying my best to fight a little longer, but the circumstances aren’t in my favor at the moment, despite all the wasted sweat and blood spread on the battlefield. You’re probably already aware of this statement, but our army lost many men in the last fight, and I could’ve been one of them with a second of inattention. Until now, the conditions of this war had been more than bothering for our psyche, especially with the constant changes of landscape and fear of not waking up to another sunrise, but the last hours had been the most traumatizing.
Everything started with a simple slash of a blade in the air, and before realizing it, the entire army was already attacked the enemy. It wasn’t the first time, and the injuries in our bodies remained the proof of our devotion to the lands, but our rivals were stronger than usual. Their strategy was smart enough to catch us by surprise and put most of us in a messed-up situation, where taking the hit and sacrificing our last breath was the last option. The deaths of our comrades weren’t the most peaceful ones, but the graves resting beside us kept their names alive after their brave sacrifices to save our lives.
I was there, I watched these poor men being taken down by barbarian attacks, and cursing their opponent in their last breath. I was close to joining them in the afterlife if someone didn’t save me right in time, but unfortunately, the man who sacrificed his life for me died in the process. He was a father of three children, married to his wife for ten years, and explained to me last night how he was impatient to see his kids growing up by his side after his return. Kacchan, his story is similar to the thousands of people who died for a victory that seems out of reach but the obstacles are becoming tougher.
I’m surprised to see how my words are correct on this piece of paper after trembling for so many hours after this heavy loss in our army. The rest of our soldiers are demoralized and waiting for a miracle, just like me, who prayed to the stars to return home at the end of this hell. Let me tell you something I’ve never told anyone: In these short seconds of near-death experience, I’ve pictured my loved ones standing beside a grave with teary eyes, and my ghost observing the sadness on their faces. I’ve faced a husband who lost the love of his life, a child who mourned her dam, and parents who cried the loss of their son.
In this bittersweet victory that acted like a failure to our chest, I've had only one regret ; the one to not say enough I love you to my family. All the wasted time and the unsaid, only to face tears while writing this, realizing how I didn’t want to leave this world without hugging my daughter, husband, friends, and parents one last time. I’m sorry for giving the impression of giving up when the option sounds tempting most of the time, but I don’t want to curse the golden vows in your letters with blood, even if it’s a tough quest.
I’m scared, Kacchan. - Izuku.”
—---
“Dear Izuku Bakugo Midoriya, I'll go straight to the point.
You are the strongest omega of the lands, the best warrior and knight I’ve known, and the strong dam of our daughter, who praised your courage in each of her conversations. You made your proof more than once, saved many lives, and are admired by many people for the symbolism of change you represent in our lands. The only extras who talked behind our backs are the jealous vultures who envied your amazing strength, which you owned for years, when I haven’t reached the same level as you yet.
The man I’ve met went to war and came back alive when he needed to survive for his parents. The man I’ve married protected our family with his own sweat to assure a safe future, and this source of inspiration for our brat is the one I want to see in your next fight. None of this is your fault and sometimes the enemy is stronger than any of our backup plans, but the man who saved you knew what he did and his death wasn’t on you, but the monster who took his life away. I’ve been in the same place as you, and I understand your worries, but remember your past achievements, and the people waiting for your return at home: Are you going to let some asshole take the future of your daughter and the fond reunion with your family away?
You have the right to be vulnerable, and I admired you for that. Izuku, you’re the strongest person I’ve ever seen and I couldn’t be prouder of you being the dam of my legacy! Giving up means pushing all the worst-case scenarios back to life and making us miserable for the rest of our lives, but you have the ability to survive and fight back. Remember the advice shared by Aizawa, the tricks of your weapon, and be the leader who’ll lead the army into victory, instead of a planned defeat.
You are Izuku Midoriya, the omega who survived a war once…and you’re always this man. Hana and I believed in you, but we trust you for the rest of this journey, and we've got your back…always. - With love, Kacchan.”
—----
“Dear Izuku,
I’ve been longing for your name and your warmth since the moment fate separated us, but the more I hear about your progress in the war with the army, the more excited I become about a day that seemed so out of reach.
I run out of reasons to reach out to you, but I know you wouldn’t mind receiving another message, motivated by the desperate cries and wishes made upon the stars. Hana and I will never get used to the loneliness of our room, but we got lucky to comfort each other when times are tough. She seemed happier since you started to reply to her, and she always read me your content with such an adorable smile….
There are a bunch of reasons to give up when the corrupted world has already taken advantage of the situation, but this isn’t an option when our daughter is impatiently waiting for your next answer. I understand the struggle of choosing between his royal duties and his personal preference, but no matter the decision you’re making on the other side, make sure to paint this portrait with the blood of people who tried to take you away from us.
My biased opinion won’t change your mindset but some people can’t be saved due to the darkness who already consumed their souls a long time ago. Please, save the right people and kill the one who lost their humanity after their deal with the demons. Every life matters, such as theirs, but yours is more important than any treasure in this castle…
We can’t wait to hear about your next adventure, stay safe, freckles. - With love, your husband.”
—----
“ Izuku,
The truth is…I don’t even know how to start this letter. It’s been one month since you received our last message but haven’t responded yet, even if I’m not the kind of partner to put pressure on your shoulders, especially in such conditions.
I’ve recently heard about the communication and exchange with the outside world being cut off by the enemy. I don’t even know if you’ll receive this message, but the situation isn’t safe here in the kingdom either. There are rumours about a potential conflict happening with our neighbourhood lands, and even if a fight is necessary, we’re doing our best to appease the situation before facing terrible losses.
We should’ve known that this peace wasn’t meant to last, but everyone is concerned about their own struggles. As a ruler, I have to protect my subjects, but as a husband and father, I’m deeply concerned about my family. There’s no place for mistakes, but some people tend to describe the end of the story as premeditated death, when it’s not possible…at least that’s what I’m trying to tell our daughter..
She’s worried about not receiving any letters anymore, but even if she convinced herself to believe in a miracle, I still hear her sobs at night. I forgot the comfort of my own bed to rest most of my nights with the trembling figure of our daughter, who begged the stars to keep you alive. It’s the first time I’ve seen her so heartbroken, and I believe my recent sadness had an influence on her vision of this twisted reality.
We miss you, Izuku. We love you, no matter the person you’ve become after this war, because we’ll always believe in you. Please, if you have a minute, could you send us a short reply to erase our fears and bring color back to our faces? - with love, Kacchan.”
———-
“My love, I have so many things to confess.
Before mentioning how I became a puppet of this cursed creature that is the war, I feel the need to apologize for the reply that probably brightened my family’s day. I’ve received every letter, despite the temporary victory from our enemy, and kept them safe in my heart during the darkest days. There’s not a day passing by that my dreams recall the kind words shared by my loved ones and their undeniable support, which made me the happiest. The thousands of kilometers separating us felt suddenly invisible when my eyes found the golden vows in these letters, and the presence of tears on Hana’s paper, after the final comma and heart beside my name.
I truly appreciate the ethereal support you’ve been sending me the entire time, and how you never gave up on me, even when the circumstances led to unplanned obstacles. Being away from you and our daughter felt like a thousand stabs in the chest, but I need to keep fighting in order to keep the people I love safe as long as possible. If you have the time, could you please explain to Hana how everything is fine on the other side, with the hope it’ll reassure her about complicated nights, even if she already has the best knight by her side.
About the war…The situation took no one saw coming.
The number of soldiers became heavily reduced since our last fights, and the graves continued to be exposed to our guilty souls, who mourned the loss of friends and strangers who honored their lands. Death became an inevitable possibility for people who couldn’t handle the pain and took their own lives, often on purpose or away from the comrade who enjoyed their company. Kacchan, I don’t think I’ll be able to return home as the same man you’ve known and fell in love with. I’ve changed in so many ways, killed innocents, become a monster in order to survive, and yet, I'm still longing for the reunion that'll color my gray habits.
My skin and soul had been traumatized by a bloody scenery that’ll forever mark this period of my past. I’m sorry for breaking your heart with my lack of answers, but, as I said, things became more interesting on our side. The enemy showed up for the first time after endless months of fights, asking for an agreement between the mixed kingdoms, who had grown exhausted of seeing the same painting repeating itself every decade. We were reticent about the idea of hearing their speech, but the official paper held in their hands proved how this political agreement represented our only chance to get away from this and taste the freedom that haunted both sides.
Nothing is decided for sure, but I’ll inform you when the final decision has been made. In all honesty, I couldn’t be more relieved to hear about such news, especially when my body started to pay for all the previous months of crimes. My nights are getting warmer with the lullaby of Hana’s handwriting and the words you’ve shared in our last exchanges, but I’m not sure I could handle another fight. I’m not the kind to easily give up, but the evident tiredness took the lead over my reflex: I got exhausted for no reason and needed more naps to recover, the rest of the army started to get worried about me, but I know this isn’t as scary as it seems.
I do have an idea about the origin of this sudden change, but it needs to be confirmed. Thanks for supporting me, and I hope this peace agreement will be the beginning of something new. I love you - Izuku Midoriya.”
—---
“My love, the war is over.
I’m still shaking while writing these words on this fragile piece of paper, which’ll represent the source of many smiles and tears of happiness, but this news is also celebrated on the other side. It took us a month, but the rulers of the two lands agreed to put an end to this fight that lasted for too long and took too many lives away, even with our traumatized souls.
The news was delivered this morning with an official announcement from the king, who released all the poor souls from their fate and praised their devotion in these tough conflicts. His words are only a way to cover the hundred of innocents who resided in proper graves in the different landscapes we've visited and marked by our bloody hands, even if all of us knew the reward isn’t public praise…but the idea of seeing our families and loved ones again.
They’re all sharing the good news through their awaited exchange, and their excitement is as strong as mine at the idea of finally returning home after being separated from both of you for so long. My heart is beating so fast at the idea of seeing my little girl jumping into my arms, and feeling the embrace of my husband, who's given me something stronger than any treasures. Words aren’t enough to thank you for everything you’ve done for me, for your daughter when I was out of reach, and for our narrative. I can’t believe how a simple meeting in an isolated farm started the beginning of such a timeless tale, especially with the years of happiness and unconditional love you’ve offered to our legacy.
I’ve heard about the conflicts happening in our lands and how you’ve been handling this without sacrificing more men on the battlefield. This is why I admire you, and I can’t wait to know more about this and all the adventures you’ve shared with our daughter!
About my state…I don’t really know how to formulate this.
I’ve made enough medical checks to be reassured about this situation. The doctor did scold me for being too imprudent on the battlefield and taking too many risks, but everything is fine on our side. I got confirmation of my previous assumption about the reasons behind my sudden tiredness and impression of déjà vu. It’s too early to share the source of my smiles and happy tears, but I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the news with you when we meet again.
According to the whispers, a medical check is requested for all the survivors of this conflict.
It might take a few more days before sending us home, but this hell is finally over. The craziest thing is how I’ve been handling this notion of time in the last months as something blurry, but the short days separating our reunion are the longest of my life. There are so many things I need to tell you, confessions to share with our kisses, and time to catch up with our daughter…It’s still unbelievable, but I know it’ll become real the moment you see me again, even if I have a surprise for you, the same one that made me survive this long.
I’ll be forever grateful for meeting your path, falling in love with you in this timeline, and for giving me the chance to bear your legacies. I missed both of you more than anything in the world, and no matter what happens once we’re reunited, I refuse to let my family go and miss the birthdays of people I care about. I wonder if you’ve gained grey hair because of me, or if you’ve been grumpy, I should probably ask Hana…but I bet you’re as beautiful as the day I left your side.
See you very soon, I can’t wait to hold you again. - With unconditional love, Izuku Bakugo Midoriya.”
-end-
