Hey, hey! StarLily here! It's been some time since I've been in this fandom in particular. Between new hyperfixations and getting my associate's degree (I am now doing College Physics and Human Growth & Development to complete my associate's degree), I haven't had much time to work on my favorite multi-chapter fic that overtook my heart in 2024.
Descended from The Ones Who Came Before.
This fanfic follows Iruma as he embarks on his canon journey. And yet, not all is as it seems, because Iruma, who believed he was human, is actually a demon, descended from an ancient race of demons called The Ones Who Came Before by many of the denizens of the Netherworld.
The Ones Who Came Before is a demonic species that I made for the fanfic listed. And Iruma, who was supposed to be human, had his dormant demon blood rearing its head. But you can read my work rather than suffering through my little synopsis. What's the fun if I just spoil everything for you all? I am working on Chapter 10 for the fic, but it has been slow going because of the reasons I've given.
So, you may be wondering, "Why is StarLily making this little fanfic in particular?"
The answer to that fun little question? I can not figure out shipping for the life of me. There are many good ships in this fandom and it has been hard sifting through them all to find out just what I've wanted. So, I made this. I'm hoping that by actually doing oneshots of the ships, it'll give me an idea as to what sort of ship(s) I want to write into my fanfic.
That being said, there are a few rules because I do not want to go balls to the walls crazy with these oneshots and I am actually looking forward to requests. I figured that limitations were a necessity.
Here are the rules:
1) I can not handle angst or smut at the moment. Keep recommendations to fluff, humor, and hurt/comfort, please. No angst because I am softhearted and will cry and no smut because I do not like the idea of writing a 14 year old boy doing any of that stuff.
2) I will get uncomfortable if I am recommended any ships for Iruma that have a larger age gap than I consider comfortable. Know that if you request anything and I perceive a larger age gap than I am comfortable with, I will reject it. Thank you.
3) Rarepairs are allowed as long as they don't have an uncomfortable age gap! I love rarepairs and would love to try my hand at writing rarepairs! If I don't know the character though, I might ask for a clarification so that I can do my research of them, and I may take longer to do those.
4) No shipping wars in the comments, please. It is my choice what I do and do not wish to write. People's opinions should be valued and respected. My own included as I am the author. So do not get onto me or others, please and thank you.
5) Please don't rush me. I am in college and I'm doing summer classes. Therefore, things may be slow going, but I will write as much as I am able to.
6) Even when I choose a ship, I will still keep writing for this. I love writing oneshots even if I make some too long. So don't think this fic will be over once I make a choice! It will never be over until I hit my limit!
7) This probably should have been the first rule I did, but I would recommend reading the fic. Since this oneshot fic is based on my fic which has some original ideas of mine, I would recommend reading it for context purposes. You can consider this a suggestion, rather than a rule.
