Miss Morgan: “Riley you will have to wait here and Doomwing will have to come in this way. If he transforms, then we can split him.”
She says as she points to a map.
Miss Morgan: “Go.”
The others grab their split emitters, and run to the exact location where Ms Morgan assigned them too. Tyler, Ivan, Shelby and Koda quickly turned them on, it glowed into a bright white light.
While they did that, Chase and Riley were by themselves, waiting.
Riley: “Uhh, your audition today was really, really awesome.”
He said as he tried to start a conversation. Chase smiled happily at that moment.
Chase: “Oh, so was yours.”
Riley gave a small fake laugh while maintaining eye contact.
Riley: “I was terrible..”
Chase: “I’m not talking about your singing..”
Riley raised his eyebrow at the brunette who was towering over him.
Chase: “I’m talking about your courage, you were scared to death but you got up there and sang anyway..”
Riley shook his head and looked at the ground.
Chase: “I don’t know how you did it.”
Chase looked down onto the ground. Riley placed his hands inside his pocket and turned his head at Chase.
Riley: “I-I did it because.. I thought you were..”
Chase shifted his head at Riley, looking confused.
Riley: “Uhm..”
Chase: “You thought I, what?”
Riley took a moment to think about what he would say next. He had liked Chase for so long to the point he couldn’t even take it anymore.
Riley: “You were so, Gaga over that singer, and I thought if maybe I could sing..”
“You would like me too..”
Chase gave a small smirk at the other.
Chase: “Riley, you were the one who realised that the silver ranger was lying. You pulled out the titano charger as proof and now you’re gonna fight Doomwing so we can split the real silver ranger and him apart.”
Riley listen to every second of what Chase had to say.
Chase: “Don’t you see? Even if you don’t sing or dance to me..”
He placed his hand onto the blondes shoulder and started moving slightly closer every second.
“You will always be my baby raptor..”
Riley looked at his shoulder and back at the other, in that moment time felt like it stopped completely. The two slowly brought each other together until..
Ivan: “What on earth of you two doing?”
He says as he stands in the way of the both of them. Chase and Riley move back quickly while trying to process what happened.
Riley: “Nothingg..”
Chase: “We were just.. looking for you! And yet here you are!”
Riley faces the other side in total embarrassment. Chase and Ivan make a small conversation until Kendall walks towards them.
Miss Morgan: “The split emitters are ready, this could be very dangerous for you Riley.”
Riley: “As long as I don’t have to sing, I’m ready..”
Chase: “Be careful Ri..”
Riley: “Don’t worry, I will..”
The others quickly morphed while Riley got into position. The rangers hid behind a big rock, spectating Riley as he stepped onto the battlefield.
A few minutes past and Doomwing appears, the other rangers gasp as Riley confronts him. And so the battle begins..
Riley morphs and wields his sword however Doomwing counters with a powerful punch which knocks Riley back.
Chase: “RILEY!”
He tries to stand up but Koda and Miss Morgan hold him down.
Miss Morgan: “Not right now Chase, Riley has to wear him down first so he will transform into Zenowing.”
Chase clenches his hand, not knowing if Riley could take any more hits..
