Chapter Text
V1 was busy pursuing the last remaining human. They were about 5 and a half feet tall, and had a blue and black striped shirt and black jeans on. V1 twirled its gun and almost instantly aimed and shot at its target. The human dived into a cave entrance, the bullet only grazing their leg.
The human gasped as they tripped on a root. They tumbled down the cave’s mouth until they fell down a deep pit. V1 followed without hesitation. It leapt down the hole and slammed down. The human was crushed beneath it, covering both the machine and a patch of golden flowers they had landed in crimson with blood.
V1’s body quickly absorbed the blood. It moved forward through the hallway into a mostly empty room with a small path of flowers in the middle. A golden flower sprouted of the ground, sporting a face. It had a wide grin.
“How-” it began to speak before V1 immediately shot it through the head. It tipped over, a large gap in its head as it wilted a little before turning to dust.
V1 continued forward into a large purple room, with a pair of stairs leading further in and a large pile of orange leaves in between them. The brick walls and ground were both shades of purple. The walls were covered in vines, hinting that this area was some kind of ruin.
V1 slid forward and leapt up to the higher level. It heard a slight gasp. A small monster, a moth with arms and legs, had noticed the machine’s large leap. It seemed timid and afraid. V1 immediately leapt forward and smashed its fist through the small thing, instantly reducing it to dust like the flower from just before.
V1 charged forward into a room with two flowing rivers and a dummy at the end. Just in case it was another monster, V1 switched to the Rail Gun and shredded it with bulletfire.
V1 kept moving, killing the few monsters it saw. First, a pair of frogs that were dealt with by the machine throwing a coin in the air and shooting it at just the right time for the bullet to split in half and kill both at the same time.
Second, it ran into a large slime monster which caused it to whip out its shotgun and blast it point blank, obliterating it.
It found a long hallway full of the small moth monsters. They tried to stop it by putting up a large wall of moths. It tapped them and dashed back when his systems became damaged. It made a note to itself that the monsters were capable of magic.
Just as the moth monsters started to feel safe, it used the cover of their own magical wall to secretly take out its Rail Cannon and in a single thunderous blast, obliterated all of them.
V1 was unstoppable. The monsters were weak. They all died in one hit.
Meanwhile, at the end of the Ruins.
A large humanoid goat monster with white fur and a purple robe was ascending out of the basement into an old house now filled with scared monsters.She was Toriel, caretaker of the Ruins.
One of them, Loox, approached her “Miss Toriel, there’s something going on a rampage! It’s some kind of weird machine, what do we do?”
Toriel sighed “Do not worry. I will investigate the matter. In the meantime, stay here.” She marched out into the Ruins, unaware of how great the enemy she faced was.
V1 had come across a room full of monsters cramped together in hiding. The room was full of webs. It shot its shotgun and just as the bullets came out, punched them. The bullets were faster and stronger. As soon as they hit the room, an explosion filled it, burning everything inside it to ashes and dust immediately.
A pair of monsters approached it “Hey you bully!” They were large bipedal eye monsters with horns on top of their heads. They attacked, sending out some small spheres which V1 leapt over with ease.
It pointed its arm at one and sent a grappling hook through one of their giant eyes. It screamed in pain as it was dragged up. V1 changed its arm to the Knuckleblaster and swung directly into the monster’s eye. It exploded into dust.
The other fell back in shock as V1 dashed through the air to position itself directly over it and slammed into Loox, hitting the ground as the monster burst into dust.
As V1 started to move forward, it heard a ghostly moan “Ohh… what are you?” V1 shot right through the ghost as soon as it appeared “I’m sorry, am I In your way?” The ghost started crying and V1 dashed to the side and fired a few more times.
The bullets phased right through the ghost. V1 tossed a coin in the air and shot it. The bullet ricocheted directly between the ghost’s eyes. V1 felt a sting as one of the bullets grazed it.
V1 switched to the shotgun and tried a boosted shot but that just broke the wall behind the ghost. V1 squinted at the ghost, looking for a weak spot. It tossed a coin into the air and switched to the Rail Cannon. A bolt of lightning burst out and struck the coin. It redirected and slammed into the ghost. A white heart appeared, burned by the attack.
Napstablook whimpered in pain “Oh…” before turning to dust.
V1 finally reached a small house. In front of it was a large tree and a humanoid goat monster. Toriel glared “Some sort of machine. Did the humans send you here? To finish the job?”
She raised her arm and flames started curling together into a ball hovering just over her palm. She shot the fireball at the machine which dodged with ease. She focused and shot out several more, one of them hitting the machine’s ankles.
V1 held the revolver tightly as it charged up a shot. It dashed towards her and shot. She grunted before summoning a hand to smack it away. The hand’s movements left a wall of fire that flew towards V1. It slammed into the ground and leapt far into the sky.
It took out the Nail Gun and started raining bullets down. It slammed down to avoid another hand and switched to the Rail Cannon. A blast of thunder tore through Toriel’s arm, severing it. She watched it turn to dust before it even hit the ground.
Toriel grimaced as she shakily raised her hand “I… won’t… fail… again…” a fireball flickered to life and flew towards V1. It dashed through the flames and with a single explosive punch from the Knuckleblaster, Toriel was no more. Reduced to dust.
V1 turned to the house and boosted another shotgun blast into the house’s front door. The wall caved open in a blast of dust and rubble. It dashed forward and turned to its right where a hallway was. It blasted its Rail Cannon down it, killing the few monsters huddled inside it. It heard a whimper of fear from the kitchen and after a bullet ricocheted off of a coin into the room, the noise went quiet.
V1 continued forward into a dark room. The end of the ruins. There was a familiar sight to any machine waiting there - a terminal. It logged in.

DOWNLOAD DATA ON MONSTERKIND? Y/N
V1 clicked yes and instantly all information on monster kind was blasted into its mind. It slid across the ground and leapt through the doors into the rest of the Underground.
Frisk held Papyrus’ hand as they walked through the forest together. Papyrus grinned widely at them “Human, after we get back would you like to visit Undyne with the Great Papyrus?” Frisk giggled and nodded. Papyrus let out a laugh that was cut off as his top half was engulfed in flame.
Before Frisk could react, she felt something pierce her heart and drag her towards it. In the brief second before she died, she saw it clearly. A humanoid blue machine.
