Once she seemingly passed on, she woke up in another world. Her body and strength returned to that of her 29 year old self, the same age when she touched the cursed chalice. Her mentality and years of knowledge remained the same, just reborn as her age when she came into contact with the Cup of Perdition. She now believes that the curse is real but can never tell anyone in her old life as she’s passed from the reality of her world.
The reality she was reborn into was a soft and curiously whimsical one, but her sense of justice and urge to defend was still there. (Originally I made it to where she reincarnated as her usual self in a Kirby universe but it can be any soft verse.) She also is shown to be hungry each passing reincarnation as she was in a state of regulated but extreme fasting before she touched the chalice. Therefore each time she passes, she is in a state of hunger so she learns to forage for food.
After passing on peacefully from that world, she reincarnated into another world but it wasn’t peaceful, just a war torn and battle riddled one. Via had learned some military tactics and applied her ways and methods of fighting/self defense into said harsher world. The fighting and combat in battles have made Via almost on edge every single time but she has learned to calm and regulate her emotions. Her mental state however is exhausted. She has met with one comrade during duty and they had developed a personal relationship and connection together. She was content for the time being, training together and increasing their bond. They both hoped to make a new life together after battle.
Unfortunately during one, her comrade was fatally wounded in a sneak attack and died of injury. Via kept fighting but much more vigorously and harshly out of duty and anger. She told herself she’d never fall in love again but her mind and emotions fail to keep her from catching feelings if she clicks with a person.
For some reason, each time she dies she can never bring any objects like souvenirs, supplies or any mementos with her from the realm she’s killed/died in. All she can carry with her are memories of the realm she was in. Because she has died in many various ways, Via will be more likely to not trust you first.
Via is reborn into her body of 29 years in every death but new memories are gained and ever increasing.
